Christmas Market Event,
Day 2
Group one: Beel, Clover, Diavolo and Solomon
This little story belongs to my Christmas project, a series of stories leading up to Christmas Eve! Check my Event Masterlist for more information, and have fun!
My MCs Violet and Clover are featured in these stories, too, so check out their profiles if you want to know more about them!
As Diavolo opened the portal to the human world, he excitedly asked everyone to go through.
However, while most made their ways to find themselves in Austria a second later, Clover felt a certain unease inside her.
She was one of the last ones to step into the human world...
And just before Diavolo called her out to go, she turned around and searched for a certain pair of eyes.
"Solomon" she whispered. The sorcerer looked at her in surprise. "Solomon I... Have a favour to ask of you."
The group plopped into the human world in a dark side alley, so that no human being would wonder about that wavering, weird portal that just happened to puke out fourteen living beings right onto the street.
When everyone was there, Mama Lucifer called all of them together to establish a few more rules.
They agreed on a time where they would all meet right here again, and Lucifer talked another fifteen minutes about how he would torture his brothers if they caused any kind of ruckus whatsoever.
"Mylord" Barbatos called out after Lucifer finished his monologue. "Mylord, where would you like to go first? I will escort you there."
Diavolo kept quiet for a moment, then his eyes landed on a certain girl.
"I want to go with Clover!" he suddenly called out, leading the girl to let out a confused noise. "And she's human, so I will be fine with her around. No need for you to do that, Barbatos."
Barbatos eyes widened in surprise.
"B-but... Mylord" he almost whined.
As Beel was huddled together with Clover, Diavolo now looked at him as well. "Beelzebub, would you join us as well?"
"Sure."
"Mylord, I-" Barbatos stammered. "I don't have any doubt in Clover's capacity to guide you around, b-but"
A hand placed on Barbatos' shoulder.
"Relax, Barb!" Asmo chimed in. "You need a break from your master too, you know? Come, how about we have some fun together for a change~!"
And Asmo pulled the confused butler away.
Diavolo seemed a little irritated over his butler's behaviour, but Solomon was quick to ease that as well.
"He will be fine" the sorcerer hummed. "Now, if you allow, I would like to join the three of you."
"Sure" Clover smiled.
Solomon gave a pleased nod.
"Shall we get going, then?"
-------------
The four wanted to get an overview of the market, since none of them have been there before.
However, that proved quite difficult, as Diavolo was so interested in every single stand that the group progressed fairly slow.
The shopkeepers seemed very, very happy over such a polite and nice costumer, so every other second, they engaged in a rather long and passionate conversation about what they were selling.
The others were standing a little at the side, watching the scene.
"... They've been talking about knitted gloves for ten minutes now" Solomon sighed. "If we keep going like this, we won't even see half of the market until it's time to go again..."
Laughing and awkward laugh, Clover scratched her head. "Well, but it seems like Diavolo is having fun, so..."
Behind her, she heard an excited sniff.
"Something smells delicious" Beel pointed out, looking for the source of that sweet scent. "I think there's a food stall over there..."
He gave his girlfriend puppy eyes.
Smiling, Clover gave a sigh. "I know you wanna go, but Diavolo is still talking over here..."
"You two can go ahead" Solomon then said. "I'll watch so that the prince won't get too excited. We will catch up to you two later."
Surprised, but gladly taking the offer, the couple continued their tour.
They came across a stall that was selling churros.
"That's where to good smell is coming from" Beel's eyes sparkled in excitement. "Can we try them?"
"Sure", the human girl smiled and they went up to the shopkeeper. Beel started ordering...
"Hello! We'd like one bag of churros."
Clover eyed him.
One bag. Beel. Ordering. One. Only one. Bag.
They stepped aside, searching for a bench to sit down and try them.
Both humming overly pleased, Clover was happy to see that churros were still as amazing as she remembered them.
"That was delicious" Beel smiled.
"Yeah! Do you want some more?" she dared to ask.
Thinking for a moment, Beel then shook his head.
"I'm good for now. I want to leave room to try other things too, you know?"
And the girl's eyes widened, watching as Beel stood up, completely fine with having only half a portion of churros.
He didn't seem hungry at all.
She looked at him.
And smiled.
Good, looks like her plan was working out...
---------
They kept wandering around, having a good time while holding hands und chatting with each other.
Beel was looking for something little to gift his twin brother Belphie for Christmas, and also had been eyeing everything in case it would make for a good present for Clover, too.
He decided on a hand knitted scarf for Belphie, as both him and the human girl were in awe over how fluffy it was.
Every now and then, they came by a food stall.
At first, Beel had been asking to try the foods, since most of the dishes were new to him.
At some point, however, it seemed like Clover was the first one to initiate the food-buying.
"We had crêpes just ten minutes ago?" Beel pointed out in confusion as Clover begged him to go buy her some.
"Buuut..." the girl whined. "I'm kinda craving some, you know?"
So of course, Beel went and bought her one.
"O-only one?" Clover bursted out greedily before she could hold herself back. "I-I mean... Don't you want one, too?"
And as Beel thought about her words, he realised.
"No..." he mumbled. "I'm... not hungry. That's odd..."
The girl bit her lip. "But... That's great, isn't it?" she cheered, giving an odd smile. "You can concentrate on the Christmas market way better this way, don't you you think?"
Beel gave a slow nod, but remained bothered.
"Sure..."
-----------
The two continued.
At some point, they happened to pass Mammon and Levi. They also tried talking to them, but the two seemed in an utter panic. Although Clover's conscience said to go and look after that matter, they let them be and continued.
Because slowly, the girl felt out of energy, asking to sit down for a moment.
And as they were searching for a quiet place to sit down, she felt worse with every passing second.
Her legs were weak. She couldn't focus on anything.
And her stomach was aching like crazy.
Beelzebub was helping her walk when he noticed her state, overly worried but the girl kept shaking it off.
"Maybe my body isn't used to the human world anymore!" she joked.
However, as they reached a bench, Clover collapsed right onto it.
"Clover!" Beel called out, having caught her just in time to prevent her from hitting her head harshly. "What is wrong...?!"
But she seemed to have lost consciousness.
Holding her in his arms, Beel wasn't sure what to do.
"Clover...? Please, wake up..."
He was about to pick her up und go search for someone to help him, but then she opened her eyes again.
"Hngh... Beel...? What... Just happened..."
"You passed out" Beel whined. "Clover, please, what is going on...?!"
"Ah, don't... Don't worry... I'm just tired..."
But this time, Beel wasn't buying it.
"No" he said. "I now what's going on with you. Don't try to lie about it. I know this feeling way too well myself..."
He gently stroke over her cold cheek.
"You're starving" he mumbled.
The girl lowered her gaze in guilt.
"But why...?" The demon continued. "And why... Am I not? Clover, can you explain what's happening...?"
Fiddling with her hands, she had trouble speaking up. But it was no use anyways...
"I... Asked Solomon to put a spell on us" she admitted. "I feared that, if you keep being hungry, you won't enjoy the Christmas market at all. Also, I know you hate it when you loose control over yourself, and as I feared that around so much food, you might do so... I asked Solomon to switch our stomaches for the day..."
The avatar of Gluttony stared at her, irritated.
Then, he pulled her into a tight hug.
"Don't..." He whispered next to her ear. "Don't do that ever again... I couldn't bear loosing you... I don't want you to starve..."
The girl teared up.
"B-beel... I wouldn't have..."
"You nearly did!" He shouted, but his harsh tone was followed by a whine. "I'm used to this pain... But your body is not."
He wrapped an arm underneath her, picking her up from the park bench. "We'll go search for Solomon. He'll take care of it."
"But Beel...!" Clover pouted. "I want you to have fun...! I can-"
"No." Beel locked eyes with her.
"Clover. What I need to have fun is you at my side. So, will you stay with me for the rest of the day, or do you want to pass out and risk dying so you'll never ever be at my side again?"
She went silent, narrowed her gaze.
"... I'm sorry..." the girl mumbled. "I... wanted to help..."
"I know. And I thank you for wanting to make me happy. I appreciate that a lot..." He placed a kiss on her forehead. "But I wouldn't want to loose you for anything. And now, let's grab something to eat for you and then we'll find Solomon, okay?"
"Okay... Thank you."
------------
Carrying his now dozing lady piggyback style, Beel wandered around the market, eventually hearing the excited loud voice of his prince.
Turning to search for Diavolo, Beel spotted him as well as a Solomon behind him, packed with countless shopping bags.
It also seemed like the prince was about to buy yet another handmade little thing from some shopkeeper that he just found so friendly that he had to buy their stuff.
Solomon had somehow got himself into playing his butler for the day, carrying everything that had already been bought.
Smiling, Beel headed towards them.
"Solomon!"
The sorcerer turned his head, and, seeing the girl, his expression showed that he feared Clover was eventually going to end up like this.
"I told her about the dangers" Solomon said. Having returned into a darker alley, he was preparing a spell to return her to normal. "But she wasn't going to change her mind. That's some dedication, isn't it?"
As he finished, the girl opened her eyes again.
"Truly" she heard Beel mumble, who was now giving her the warmest look.
"And I love her very dearly for that."

Tangled up in blue- 4
warnings- smut, drinking, swearing, smoking bla bla bla “get on with the song”
also- I made a playlist for this month, but I listen to it whenever I write so it is very ~fitting~. feel free to listen while you read.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5qrT7vDp06VGboCCSaaC31
Note- hi babes, i hope you are enjoying this so far, sorry for the long wait! This week has been a haze of volleyball, AP work, and college apps. I will try to update soon again!
prior-
The scent of sweat and cigarette smoke pulled through the air of the small green room. Penny sat on a worn velvet couch, watching the boys prance around loudly, still feeling the high of the show.
“Sam, did you see that one girl in the pit flash you?” Danny laughed, holding some concoction of hard liquor in his hand.
“Yeah dude, I had to look twice to make sure I didn’t imagine it,” he laughed, “nice tits though.” Sam spoke loudly as he sat partially on the arm of a leather chair, taking a drag from his cigarette. Jake was somewhere outside of the room on the phone with his girlfriend. Josh was prancing around the room wildly singing some showtune, very in character. He seemed rather oblivious to Danny and Sam’s conversation, only adding his input when he found the topic interesting. Penny followed Josh with her eyes, laughing into her own drink.
“Guys,” Jake said as he entered the room again, “let's get fucked up.” Everyone let out loud cheers to the twins' proposition. Josh himself, now clad in his usual white long sleeve and tan pants walked over to Penny, extending his hand to her. She took it and walked with the group towards the exit of the arena. They all decided to drink at a small bar a short walk away.
She pulled the fabric of her tan coat closer to her chest as the night breeze nipped at her cheeks. Josh noticed her newfound chill immediately, he always notices. He quickly wrapped his arms around her arms, rubbing up and down lovingly. She giggled, leaning her head into the crook of his neck momentarily as they walked. The only sound on the streets around the venue were the clack of Jake’s Chelsea boots, her own boots, and patter of everyone's sneakers.
They walked for about 25 minutes, talking about nothing in particular, smoking cigarettes as they walked.
“You know those are bad for you,” Josh teased Penny, nudging her shoulder softly.
“Tell that to Sam and Jake,” she huffed jokingly in return. Sam then turned around, a fake hurt expression on his face.
“Yeah well at least I don’t smoke American spirits, those taste like garbage,” he scoffed.
“Alright pipe down over there Marlboro man,” Penny waved him off, blowing a pull directly in his face. In truth, she knew that her smoking habits would bite her in the ass one day, but amongst other things in her life, they were so addicting. Soon enough, the neon sign of an old dive bar appeared in front of the group. Penny quickly paused behind the group, wanting to capture a picture of their silhouettes and the neon lights.
“Whatcha doin’ mama,” Josh paused his steps, waiting for the blonde.
“Capturing the moment, don't move,” she said through tight lips as the shutter clicked. Josh paused for a moment, eyes darting down to the half smoked cig in her hand.
“Shotgun me,” he said as he caught his lips in between his teeth.
“You don’t smoke,” she responded, pushing the camera back in her bag.
“Yeah I know, but it would be hot.” She then nodded her head and stepped closer to him. The rest of the group was now long ahead, entering the bar. The wind rustled his curls softly, making his eyes flutter closed. His lips were parted slightly, waiting in anticipation. She brought the cigarette to her lips slowly, narrowing her eyes at him. Her hand found the back of his head softly, his hands stayed at rest at his sides. With hazy eyes, she leaned into him. His lips ghosted over hers softly, inhaling as he did. At that moment, the cold breeze disappeared, and so did the bar. The only thing that existed was him, and his beauty. He exhaled with a soft smile on his face.
She then took his hand softly, crushing the cigarette under her boot and leading him towards the bar “Lets get drunk loverboy.”
The bar door opened with a creak, and the smell of liquor hit Penny’s nose, her hand still intertwined with Josh’s. Her eyes scanned the bar for a moment before landing on Jake’s head of hair next to Sam and Danny at the corner of the bar. The boys welcomed them with suspicious gazes, Josh only smirked teasingly at them while patting a seat next to Danny for Penny. The rest of the boys already had their choice of liquor in their hands. Josh ordered a salty dog, and he ordered Penny her favorite, Vodka Cranberry.
“god you have the alcohol taste of a college kid,” Jake laughed as she sipped her drink.
“Yeah i’m 22, so that adds up smartass,” she teased. Although Josh was older than her, it rarely crossed her mind. Whether it was her own maturity of his ability to be with her, age was rarely brought up.
“Oh god Josh, we’re getting old, I can feel it in my bones,” Jake laughed. Josh then got up from his seat, pacing slowly in front of Penny.
“Hey there sweet, come ere’ often,” Josh joked, hand on his back imitating an old man.
The night then progressed into rounds of tequila shots and more drinks. There was a pleasant energy between the group, illuminated by the soft glow of the bar. They were by far the youngest group in there, other than some old men at the bar, and middle aged women in the booths with their spouses.
Penny’s head was spinning slightly, eyes solely focused on Josh as he laughed with the band. He met her eyes continuously through the night, smiling at her softly every time he did. He now leaned down to her ear, whispering quietly.
“wanna get out of here?”
Penny nodded, downing the last of her fourth cocktail and grabbing her jacket. The pair walked hand in hand down the empty streets. There was a comfortable drunken silence between them as the cool breeze washed over them.
“where do you see yourself in five years babe?” Josh inquired, breaking the silence. She bit her lip for a moment, pondering the question seriously.
“I never really thought about it I guess,” she paused. “probably still where I am right now, blowing in the wind and following you.” He hummed in response, smiling up at the sky.
“me too, whenever I picture it, you are always there,” he said. He then broke out into a run, dragging Penny along. His voice echoed the streets, singing Bob Dylan loudly.
“But the answer my friend, is blowin in the wind, the answer is blowin in the wind.”
His voice filled her ears as she laughed along. Wind pushing her hair back, lungs burning with happiness. They ran until they reached the bus, panting and smiling at each other. Josh entered the Bus before her, flicking on various lights and tripping over shoes.
She haphazardly tore her jacket and boots off as Josh flipped through his phone, playing soft music. “Give me love” by George Harrison soon filled her ears, one of her favorite songs. Her heart ached at the feeling of Josh playing her favorite music as she tugged the hem of his shirt down next to her in a seat. The area was slightly cramped, a little more than a foot of space between seats. He hummed along to the song, caressing her cheek softly. She licked her lips, melting into his eyes deeply. He then closed the gap, capturing her lips with her own. He tasted like liquor and she melted into the kiss sighing softly. Her hands traced under his shirt as he gripped her hips, pulling her on top of him. He captured her lip in his teeth, causing a moan to escape her throat.
Give me love and I'll show love
She jutted her hips down, grinding down into him. He groaned in response, pulling back from the kiss momentarily to look her in the eyes.
Baby, I'll be there all the time
Clothes were soon discarded to the floor. The room became sticky and hot. The only sounds were coming from Josh’s phone and sighs from the pair.
Give me love and I'll show love
She flipped her hair over her shoulder, peppering kisses up his neck as he ran his hands over her breasts, toying with her nipples softly. He then let his hands trail down to her pelvis. He dipped a few fingers into her heat, eliciting a sweet moan from her. He groaned into her chest and muttered a ‘fuck you’re so wet’
Baby, I'll be there
she whined softly, pressing her forehead against his as he created a steady pace with his fingers inside her, curling them with every stroke. His thumb circled her clit and she felt her stomach heat up. Her breathing became erratic, looking into his eyes deeply. Sweat coated her forehead, her body shaking with every whine and moan. He then added a third finger into her, curling it steadily. The room became a mile away, arching her back off of him, and toes curling. Her eyes were closed, mouth hung agape. He slowed his pace, pulling his fingers out and licking them.
Every time I'm down you're the one who comes to my mind
‘fuck baby’ she whined, blinking white spots out of her vision slowly. He then captured her lips again, this time more aggressively. Tongues and teeth clashing as his hands dug into her ass. ‘Josh,’ she spoke breathily, breaking the kiss. ‘what baby?’ he sighed kissing her neck sweetly, biting softly. ‘I need you in me’
Look to deep your love you're the one that I dream of
He lifted her slightly, allowing her to sink down into him. Once he was fully in her, he paused groaning. He pressed his forehead against hers relishing in the feeling of being inside of her. Soon enough, she began grinding down onto him, lifting her hips slightly with every stroke. Her hands scratched up his shoulders, sure to leave marks that he would smile at in the mirror tomorrow. After a few minutes, her pace became sloppy causing Josh to lift her hips himself allowing for him to go even deeper. ‘fuck Pen’ he moaned into her hair. She could only smile against him, feeling so full and content.
Take me to your heart don't ever worry, we'll never be apart
He jutted his hips into her harshly, fingers digging deeply into her hips. Everything then uncoiled inside her for the second time of the night, causing her breathing to stop for a second. Josh followed suit only seconds later, breathing rapidly and moaning softly. They paused for a moment, relishing the feeling and catching their breath. She kissed him softly and sweetly now, smiling stupidly.
“I love you,” she sighed.
“I love you too,” he smiled, pulling her against his chest lovingly. “lets go to bed.”
She threw on one of Josh’s old t-shirts and boxers, climbing in next to him in the bunk. His arms wrapped around her, her head on his chest, listening to his breathing. His heartbeat lulled her softly to sleep, not even hearing the rest of the band enter the bus soon after.
“god it smells like sex in here.”

Love from the shadows
Part 2
The Originals AU story
Elijah Mikaelson x Camille O'Connell (Camilijah)
a/n: Elijah and Camille are friends and colleagues. She has a crush on him, but keeps it to herself, as Elijah is known to be quite the ladies man.
Anyway - it's a little something - I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for reading. 😀📖💕🎈
💕🎉
Morning found Camille, waking up next to Marcel, which made her freak out a bit as she realized what had happened. A Tequila shot too many. Never again. She thought as she now sneaked out of the bed and disappeared in the bathroom to get dressed.
Getting out of it in a little while, she was met by Marcell smiling with a charming smirk on, "Morning, beautiful."
"Hey" Camille said with a little gulping smile, "I - uhm- this is just one of those things, right? Not that it wasn't good -"
"Relax - yeah." Marcel said.
"Ok. Ahm - I got to go. Later."
"Later." Marcel said as Camille rushed out of the apartment.
Camille hated that she let herself gothat way. She was a girl, who loved the romantic dates. Dreamt of a big white wedding. Dreamt of Elijah. Even though she knew he was not into serious relationships. She knew his track record. Aya, Celeste, Sabine, Antoinette, Gia, to name but a few, and now Hayley, one of her bffs.
But was Elijah such womanizer, really? Or has he not found the one?
*
In Elijah's apartment
Hayley woke up finding the bed empty. There was a note, saying 'Great night.E.'
She also found a tray of breakfast with a flower in a little vase.
'You got style, I give you that" Hayley muttered taking the bagel, "No wonder Cami is so into you."
*
Elsewhere
"How are things?" Klaus said as Elijah picked up the phone.
"Fine - you? How is Paris?"
"Pretty great. So, are you coming for my birthday?"
"I certainly am. I've already booked a flight. Kol tells me you have gone into crazy mode with the party plans."
"Well, it's my 40th and I just want to splash out." Klaus said.
"And so you should. Right. I got to go. I will see you soon." Klaus said and hung up.
Finishing his coffee, Elijah went up to the window, flashing back to his conversation with his sister the other day.
Flashback
"I met Kol's girlfriend. She is so amazing and he is so wrapped up in her. I haven't seen him so in love like - actually never. It's cute. And talking about love and falling in love - it's Valentine's in a few days - I guess you will end up taking someone home - hook up - seriously, don't you think that it's about time you unfroze your heart? "
"Bex, please -" Elijah took a deep silent breath,"Love is overrated."
"You don't really believe that -" Rebekah continued, but her brother changed the subject of love and his heart to the upcoming trip to Paris.
Years back, in a church in Chicago, Elijah waited at the altar. The woman he was about to marry left him jilted. Breaking his heart. He vowed not fall for anyone again. Ever.
Putting his thoughs away, he returned to the daily tasks.
🎬
Camille pushed the one night stand with Marcel away in a box of crazy mistakes, and same as Elijah went into the working mode.
And as times progressed, working alongside him, seeing him hooking up with Hayley on a regular basis took its toll.
One evening as Davina and her met for a girly night out she splattered the big news to her friend.
"I was approached by a Firm from Boston and I decided I will take the job."
"You are not serious?" Davina looked at her friend a tad bit wide-eyed.
"I am" Camille huffed. "I need to get away - forget about Elijah - working next to him, seeing him every day and knowing that he will always be a player - it's a living Hell. "
"Well - I hate to see you go, but I get it. To get him out of your system, you need to move - but can you not go and work for another Firm here?"
"I will still see him. We have the same friends... you know" Camille explained l.
"I know" Davina said, giving her friend a warm comforting hug.
Not long after, Camille left, because loving someone from the shadows just was something her heart couldn't handle anymore.
🎇
Six months later
Camille walked in Rousseau's, and her eyes set on Elijah, who now waved at the blonde a little, somewhat surprised to see her there.
"What are you doing here?"
"Hey - I am here for the wedding. I am meeting Davina. You? How are you? I hear you have made partner?! Congratulations."
"Yes. Thank you. A drink?"
"Yeah."
"Beer?" Elijah suggested.
"Yes. Thanks."
"So, how are things in Boston?" Elijah now asked, "I still don't get how you just took off, not that I blame you. Fish&Cage are a good firm."
"The offer was too good to pass. Sorry that I left you in the learch - So, how have you been?" Camille said taking seat.
"Fine. Tell me about you and Boston? I bet you are Boston Celtics fan now. "
"No. I am still very much a Pelicans fan. Die hard, don't you know?"
"Yeah - I didn't forget it. You and Kaleb and Marcel were crazy when they played in the finals. Never seen someone so passionate about a game."
"Well, I got tickets. Wanna come?" Elijah said.
"What? You usually go with Klaus?"
"Ah, he is away with his new girfriend."
"Klaus has a girfriend?"
"Yes. Caroline Forbes."
"The Caroline Forbes?" Camille was surprised.
"Yep." Elijah took a swag of his beer. "He is thinking of proposing."
"What? OMG! I never thought that I would hear this. He found the one."
"He found the one."
"And you?" Camille now asked feeling her stomach knotting.
"Me? No. You?"
"No. Haven't found the one yet." Camille said, turning to Davina, who greet them," But, she's found the one, in Junior High already."
The women now hugged, and as Davina ordered a drink they went off to a table to talk wedding stuff. Elijah had his office colleagues arrive and he now chatred away with them.
And during the talk with Davina, Camille could not help herself but sway to look at Elijah a few times.
"You're still into him?" Davina now asked.
"What? Who? Me?" Camille said innocently.
"Yeah, you Cami!" Davina exclaimed.
"Ok. Yeah. Huh. He is still so hot. Damn." Camille said.
"Hot. And a total womanizer. Don't go there."
"I am not. I hear Hayley still hooks up with him."
"Yeah. We had a huge argument, just yesterday. She was with Jackson, too. And he is such a good guy. He didn't deserved this." Davina said.
"Ok. Let's talk bridesmaid's dresses." Camille now said to change the subject.
But, despite Camille's better judgment and all the alarms going off in her head to stay away from Elijah, she ended up accepting to go to the game.
Days after, after the game they ended up in a bar, later, celebrating the win.
"This was such a great game." Camille was still in a full on cheering mode.
"I agree. It really was. I had great fun. So, Tequila?"
"Yeah. But just one. I'll have a beer." Camille said.
As the clinked with the glasses for the win, they both downed the drink.
As a song came up on the karaoke at one moment, made Elijah suddenly grab Camille's hand getting her to the small dance area.
Swaying to the music, they joked a little about it as they now remembered the time they did a karaoke thing while they were working on a case.
"I was actually amazed that you could sing" Camille said.
"You were not bad yourself"
"Oh, please - I was so out of tune. Did you not see everyone's faces - they were silently begging me to stop"
"You just needed practice" Elijah chuckled.
"I will stick to the law - I am much better at that."
"I second that" Elijah said, and pushed her gently out into a twirl. As he pulled her back, she was flush against him. Both stopped still and looked at one another. Camille sucked a heavy breath in.
They were staring into each other’s eyes. Elijah's full lips were only inches from hers. She could feel his warm breath brushing over her skin. She had imagined standing like this with him so many times, and every one of those times, he had kissed her.
And then, it suddenly was better than any dream. His head now lowered toward hers, and his lips found hers.
His kiss, his lips firm, his tongue gentle. The shoulders under his hands went rigid with restraint, a vibration of control suddenly crept up as she kept herself in check, halting the kiss, levering back. Desire and apology cut hard lines into his face as he beamed down at her.
Tequila that was coursing strongly through her veins, hitting her head, muted the voices that were shouting, telling her this was not a good idea.
But then, overriding them, swiftly as the cat she shot both her hands in his hair, yanking his mouth to hers down. Wild, nearly desperate, she slid her tongue inside, pressing her entire body along his length.

At the very start of the game we meet Rin, formaly known as Qatherine, as she's running from her stalker in the streets. Vincent saves her and finding that she has amnesia and doesnt know anything about herself, she gets a job at the Stray Sheep playing piano, she is also Vincent's new neighbor.
2nd, we meet Catherine, a young, sexual blonde who comes into the Stray Sheep and has a drink with our protag. Vincent gets drunk out of his mind and in the morning he wakes up with Catherine naked beside him. He freaks the fuck out and here starts the love square as he struggles to hide his infidelity from both Katherine and Catherine while dealing with his growing affections for Rin.
Gameplay
The real meat of this game is in the nightmare segments. Every night you're transported to a world where you have to climb a tower of cubes before they fall out from under you and you become a heaping plate of sheep meat. And what they don't tell you about the puzzles is THEY ARE HARD, OH MY GAWD! If you play on hard or even normal be ready to throw your controller out the goddamn window and question your life choices bc if puzzles aren't for you then you're gonna have a bad time.
The game's puzzle segments have improved greatly with an additional difficulty setting called Safety where it's impossible for you to die, there's no timer so the floor doesn't fall out from under you, and you have an auto play and skip options so if you're feeling lazy you can have the game play its self or just skip the puzzle entirely. There's also a back camera so if you need to climb to the back of the puzzle you can actually see what you're doing instead of scrambling around like a sheep with its head cut off. The trap blocks are also disabled in Safety mode. After you get to the top of each block tower you'll come to a platform where you can save, talk to people and buy items that help you climb (they bring down your score of you use them fyi.) After that you'll get into a confessioanal booth where you'll be asked a question where you'll have to answer either 1 extreme or the other. This is the main thing that will determine the outcome of the game. This game has multiple endings and depending on what you choose that will decide the ending that you get and the paths you take. There's a total of 14 endings in this game including alternate endings that are exclusive to Catherine: Full Body so this game makes up for its relatively short play time by having high replay value. They've also added new questions to the game so it won't be the same questions that you answered if you played the original Catherine.
There's an option called Remix where there's entirety new kinds of blocks in the puzzles to deal with, I didn't play that but it looked intersting.
Other than the nightmare parts of the game, you spend you're time at the Stray Sheep drinking, talking to you're friends, bar patrons and Rin. You freqently get txts on your phone from all 3 of the girls and unlike the original game you get phone calls now and pics from all of the women, not just Catherine 😈😈. The best thing about the bar is that it's entirely optional. There's no extra fluff you need to slog through. You can just skip entirely passed it if you don't feeling like drinking or talking but it's all so atmospheric that you'll want to do it. Plus drinking more helps you move faster during the puzzles so bottoms up, bitches. 🍸🍺🍻🍷🍹🍶
Character's
I'm only gonna cover the love intrests bc they're the only ones who matter really.
Qatherine (Rin)
Oh. My. God. I can't even begin to tell you how good her story is. Her genuine innocence, kindness and sincerity help Vincent greatly as he deals with the traumatic nightmares and his relationship problems. Early on we can really feel the affection that he has for her and it seems completely natural that they would fall in love. In fact later in the game he kind of admits that he did fall in love with her. This is how good it was, when I messed up and didn't give the right answers for her path to be unlocked I was so pissed off when the cutscene finally came that I would have shouted at my screen if my dad hadn't been sleeping next door to me. Rin also has a unique place in the game. Unlike the other 2, she actually appears in the nightmares and helps you by playing her piano. That added comfort she gives Vincent really adds to her relevance and pefectly supports the way to a loving relationship should you choose to persue one. She's the most fulfilling love option. She's also not human. Or a girl.
Katherine
Katherine is already your long time steady gf when the game begins. Mature and sensible, she almost resembles a mothering role with the protag. She's always worried about him and his drinking habbits and how clean his apartment is. But she's not without her soft side either. She brings him cake and wants to persue a deeper commitment with him. She's very smart and ambitious but also quite understanding when it comes to Vincent's bumbling clumsiness. She truely wants the best for him and their relationship. This is expanded by the memories that are shown to you about their early relationship when they first fell in love. Which didn't happen in the original game. She represents the security and familiarity that comes with having a long time relationship.
Catherine
Catherine isn't actually a human at all. She's a succubus who was brought to specifically temp the protag into a steamy affair. She's described as "his dream girl" and represents the fantasy and freedom that people secretly crave. She's appears unassuming and innocent on the outside but is actually very shrewd and aggressive as shown when she beats the shit out of Vincent in the bathroom of the bar if you choose to break up with her. She also threatens to kill you early on if you cheat on her. She's very emotionally vulnerable and actually falls in love with the protag as the game progresses. If you break up with her she'll beg to stay with you, stateing that "I just wanna be your girl." And that she's ok with you marrying some one else. Then she cries. Then beats you up. It's all very hilarious and strange. Also no one else can see her except Vincent which leads to chaos near the end of the game. Her endings are actually pretty nice so give her some consideration.
Graphics
As this is a ps4 game, it goes without saying that the graphics are better than the original. The cematics really have the polished Persona 5 look to them. The colors are super bright and vibrant it's like a feast for your eyeballs, I just love it. When you do get a loading screen, which isn't often, you get blasted with that signature vibrant pink and the title screen has a whole new look to it. The style is there and I am here for it.
Interesting stuff
These are just things I personally found awesome.
In the begining, the hostess Trisha (she explains the whole story and presents it to you as a soap opera) aknowleges that this game is the new better version of the first.
The cubes with faces on them open their eyes when you stand in front of them.
When you reply to txts in the bar, you don't have to cycle through options anymore, just scroll and select.
There's Persona music on the bars jukebox including the opening song to Persona 5
There's Persona 5 Easter eggs. Just look around. 😉
There's a rich Muslim dude who you get to talk to on the platform after you climb the puzzles so if you're concerned about "representation" it's there.
Overview 8.5/10
Catherine: Full Body is an intersting, unique and stylish game that brings a fresh new concept to gaming and I really recommend it. It's strange and it does what it does and it does it well bc it's not trying to please or pander to anyone. The story is good and the style is showy and I love it.
I hope that you enjoyed this review and that your gamming experience is a little better.

WHACHA MEAN IT IS STILL BEAUTIFUL> ADMIN LAURA. IF i could get part 4. You don't have to if you are not up for it. But thank you for the parts
Thank for for supporting me! Hope you like this.
Reader’s POV
Making yourself feel negative emotions was the easy part. The hard part, had been seeing how broken the sticks got. Of course, they were very skinny sticks so very were easily broken but the shock wave you released didn’t even take a millisecond to break them. The broken parts also didn’t hang from the sticks, they were all completely severed. Where once were 20 sticks, now were 40.
All Might, Midoriya and Aizawa all had watched your performance from the bleachers, at a safe distant. A simply safety measure.
Your first shock wave had had a radius of 6 centimeters. Aizawa asked you to try a few more times after he sent Midoriya to get more sticks. The second wave got as far as 10 centimeters. The third, got 12. The fourth and fifth couldn’t get past that.
“So that’s your radius for now.” Aizawa pointed at the twelfth broken stick after coming down from the bleachers. “We needed to know that because one, you should know as much as about your quirk as possible and two, we know how far away to stay while we train you.”
“Okay.” You listened carefully, Aizawa seemed like he had more to say.
“You need to disconnect your quirk from your emotions. You have to own it, maybe think of it as a part of your own body that you can control.” He stood by, hands crossed over his chest with a pensive expression on his face. “That might take a while.”
“We already knows she can trigger her quirk by feeling negative things. Of course that’s not ideal but it’s something.” Midoriya yelled from up where he was, he started sprinting down the stairs a second later. He stopped right in front of you. “I know you’ve had bad experiences because of your quirk but it’s not all bad. I’m sure you can think of positive things about it.”
The moment you hit Todoroki replied in your head again. It triggered a series of painful memories, like all the friends you lost in middle school. All the friends who didn’t want to be near you after you hurt one of their friends. You also remembered the time you accidentally used your power against your dad, making him leave your mom to take care of you on her own. All the tragic moments in your life only happened because of your quirk.
You could not see a silver lining.
You shook your head at your friend, looking at the ground. “I can’t, Midoriya-kun. I really can’t.”
Midoriya stretched out his hand to touch you. He touched your arm and it was the first time he ever got so close to you after the accident. He wasn’t acting scared anymore.
“You can’t go on like this, Y/N-chan.” His words made you look up again. “You’ll be torturing yourself for the rest of your life. And Todoroki-kun…” He stopped, as if he was not sure he should’ve spoken his name. He continue when your eyebrows furrowed, pleadingly. “Todoroki-kun isn’t scared of you, Y/N. He never was. But he did get hurt. I know you well enough to know you don’t want that to happen again.”
Your lips trembled as tears threatened to fall. Every word he said about you was true and you couldn’t argue against them. Yet you felt so weak and unmotivated. You wanted to give up right then.
Instead, you shook your head violently. So much, it made Midoriya take a few steps back in alarm. After that, you slapped your own cheeks, something Uraraka always did when she needed go focus.
“I really don’t.” You agreed. “I’m going to kick my own quirk’s ass.”
“You sound like Kacchan.” Midoriya said, smiling.
-
Of course that by the end of the day, your progress had been very little. Regardless, you couldn’t let yourself feel hopeless anymore. There was no room for hopeless.
When you got back home, you were ready to tell your mom what you had spent all your afternoon and part of the night doing. You found that Y/M/N had been waiting, anxiously, sitting on the couch with the TV turned on.
She hugged you tight as soon as you stepped through the door, not giving you time to close it before she squeezed you.
“Mom, I never went off to war, you know that right?” You joked, laughing in relief.
She gave you another squeeze. “I always worry about you, Y/N. It’s my job as a mother.”
“I know, I know.” Both of you pulled apart. “Wanna hear all that I did today?”
Your mother smiled but you soon realized, she was only mirroring your own expression. No matter how tired you were then, and how lonely you had felt in the begging of it all, you were genuinely happy with the decision to get control over your quirk. You were happy that you have two beloved teachers who made sure to be there to help you, you were happy you had a best friend who thought of everything you could do to help yourself, you were happy to have a mother that worried.
“I’d loved to.” Was the worried mother’s response.
Todoroki’s POV
Some of his classmates looked at him with pity.
“Oh look at the boy who got messed up by his own girlfriend. He’s such a pity case.”
No one said it out loud, and no one actually thought that either. His classmates were worried. They cared about him as he did for them. Yet the stares were uncomfortable and their conviction to avoid the topic at all costs was unnerving.
Todoroki wished with every cell of his body that Y/N could come back to class already. The thought was absurd, he knew. She would take long to return there, if she did at all.
As the students talked to him about all sorts of random things - except Y/N and what she did to him -, Todoroki spaced off. It wasn’t until Midoriya called that he came back down to planet Earth.
“You okay?” He asked his friend, who was clearly distressed.
“Yes.” Todoroki replied, untruthfully.
Midoriya sat on the desk next to his friend’s. “You’re dying to hear from Y/N.” He didn’t need to ask.
Todoroki grinned his teeth. “Even her mom won’t let me see her.”
“It’s a good thing, Todoroki-kun.” Midoriya said as if it was a reminder. “She needs time. And space. You either have to be patient or move on.”
“I don’t exactly have much to move on from.” Todoroki was unintentionally rude. He sighed to make himself before opening up his mouth again. “It’s just that… She gave me a note. That was all I got. I don’t know what she’s doing now, or if she’s thinking of me at all, or anything. I don’t have much to move on from.”
Before Midoriya could continue to reassure his friend, a teacher entered the room and class began. Todoroki knew his friend was trying to come up with more to tell him, but failed. He silently appreciated having Midoriya as a friend.
After classes were over, Todoroki wanted to walk back home alone. His plans were interrupted when Uraraka caught up to him near the exist.
“I need to talk to you.” She breathed the words out, hyperventilating. She had been running to get to him.
“Then do.” He replied while he kept walking, looking right ahead.
“You have to understand,” Uraraka sighed. “pushing you away was probably one of the most hurtful things Y/N ever did. More for her than for you. And if she could redo everything, be born with a different quirk or even quirkless, she would. She’d redo everything if it meant she never hurt you and you were still together. But she’ll be dammed before she lets herself get near you again right now. Not while she can’t control her quirk.”
Todoroki thought about her words for some time before responding. The silent in between her speech and his felt necessary. “Does that means she’s working on it now? On how to control her quirk?”
Uraraka nodded. “She has lots of help. And you know how determined she gets…”
“I do.” Todoroki smiled to himself as Uraraka stopped walking and he continued on his way home.
Reader’s POV
Next time you trained, Aizawa took you to the same place, with the same people watching. Except this time, Uraraka showed up as well. She ran up to hug you. It was the first time you had seen each other in almost a month.
“Don’t push us away again.” She whispered, squeezing you tight.
You wanted to say you wouldn’t. You wanted to believe you wouldn’t. You just couldn’t be sure. You simply gave a nod.
“Midoriya-shounen was right.” All Might said suddenly. “When he said there are positive points to your quirk, Y/N. Quirks aren’t all bad or all good, they distinction doesn’t apply to them. You have to put that in your head, or you’ll always think your quirk is a burden.”
“You’ll never get control over your quirk if you keep thinking of it as a problem.” Aizawa completed.
“We wanted to come up with exercises for you to do but you should feel comfortable with them, so we’re discussing it now.” The other teacher put a hand on your shoulder as a gesture of comfort.
You nodded at him, agreeing.
“Hey, Y/N. Do you think you can aim your quirk?” Midoriya questioned, finally speaking up. “Cause if you can, Uraraka-san would make some stuff float and you could aim your wave at them.”
“It’s worth a try.” All Might looked at you and subsequently everybody else did. They waited for your response.
“Yeah…” You agreed more out of pressure than of certainty that you could do it. “I meant… why not?”

My (24F) girlfriend's (26F) mutual ex (25F) called her abusive but I don't want to leave? via /r/polyamory
My (24F) girlfriend's (26F) mutual ex (25F) called her abusive but I don't want to leave?
Mel (25F), my (24F) first serious girlfriend, and I dated in college. We were together for a year and some change, lived together from very early on in the relationship, and were codependent. Our romance ended but we were on good terms before she moved away from our college town a few months after we broke up. We didn’t keep in close touch but were friendly enough that I answered a random call from her a few years later. Mel was calling to let me know that she had seen on social media that I had moved to a town nearby, eventually revealing that she was in a new relationship and wanted to have a threesome with me and her new gf, Sandi (26F). I immediately went along with it, thinking she was joking but politely declined when she insisted she was serious. When the call ended, I started to think more about what a great story it could be and reasoned that it was a pretty rare opportunity that I might never get again. After some consideration and talking to Sandi too, I decided to take Mel up on it.
Soon after, we met up for dinner with plans to go to their apartment after and have sex. It’s a little awkward at first, of course, but we quickly begin to have an overall good time. They eventually let me know that they are actually in an open relationship. This caught me off guard as Mel and I had been monogamous when we were together but I still thought it was really cool and expressed as much to both of them. They explained a little about how their relationship worked but we mostly talked about other things.
When we got back to their apartment after dinner, we had sex and it was great and I left the next morning. Mel texted that she and Sandi had a great time and that they want to continue dating me if I was interested. I immediately thought about how messy it all would inevitably be figured I didn't have much to lose so I did it anyway.
3 or 4 link ups later, we all make plans to go out together. Last-minute, something comes up with their babysitter and Mel has to stay home but Sandi decides to come anyway. After that night, Sandi and I hung out a few more times alone and I ended up not seeing Mel for a few weeks.
About a month before the pandemic got serious around us, Mel texts me essentially breaking up with me. She said she thought we worked better as friends but that she didn’t want to get between Sandi and I. I didn’t honestly believe that it didn’t bother her but decided to mind my business and said okay.
Once the pandemic started, Sandi and I began to talk a lot more often. While we had been dating for several months beforehand, we had seen each other less than 10 times total. Now we were FaceTiming every day and being much more emotionally intimate with each other. I found her to be extremely smart, funny, expressive, and all-around a great time. Often Mel would casually join Sandi and I’s conversations and we would sometimes send each other memes about shared interests on social media but didn’t speak outside of that.
I started to get a much clearer picture of Mel and Sandi’s relationship because of all the time I spent talking to them but mostly heard things through Sandi. She described their family as full of love and also described frustrations that led to pretty explosive arguments with Mel. Having been with Mel in the past, I could relate to how frustrating it could be to argue with her. She is very stubborn and does not always respect boundaries. However, several times during descriptions of their various arguments Sandi would say things to Mel that made me uncomfortable. Sandi also admitted that she hit Mel on one occasion, early on in their relationship. Wrong is wrong and putting your hands on your partner is always wrong which I told her at that moment, but she explained that they had gone to couples counseling after the incident and that they were both in individual therapy as well.
Whenever I heard them, I would point out how mean her words to Mel were. Sandi would appear unaware of how her actions were harming Mel at first, but was always very apologetic when things were mentioned to her, and seemed to be learning in therapy. I told Sandi that I thought the power dynamic in her relationship with Mel was unhealthy and that I would leave her the very first time she said anything like she had said to Mel, to me. I didn’t feel like it was my place to intervene in their relationship and never encountered that kind of behavior with Sandi myself. I did speak with Mel to express concern once which she acknowledged but largely brushed off, so I left it alone.
As my relationship with Sandi progressed, her other relationships began to deteriorate. Eventually, Sandi and her other long term partner who I had never met break up, so does she and Mel while they are still living together, and several members of her extended family get or die of COVID, including her aunt that raised her. Through these extremely rough few months, Sandi and I continue to get closer eventually sharing ‘I love you’s and planning to move into separate apartments in the same area in order to be closer together.
A few days ago, I go to a cabin with friends from college for a long weekend and don’t get the chance to speak with Sandi beyond a few texts for a couple of days. On the way home, I am scrolling through social media and went to send something to Mel but realized I was blocked from their account. Feeling hurt and surprised, I texted both Mel and Sandi asking what happened and if everything is okay.
Mel gets back first and explains that she left the apartment with Sandi after an argument a few days ago but that she doesn’t wanna make Sandi any angrier by talking about it with me. I try to push the conversation but Sandi calls before Mel responds.
Sandi says that she and Mel got into it and that while she is sad Mel left she is also relieved and feels like she’s really done. She then suggests that I should give Mel some space. I pointed out that Mel and I had a relationship outside of her and that I wanted to maintain that relationship regardless of what was going on with them. She reacted defensively, basically undermining the relationship Mel and I have and even sayIng that we couldn’t date if I talked to her (in the heat of the moment). I told Sandi I didn’t appreciate her tone and that she needed to chill out if she wanted to continue speaking, which she did. We concluded that while she didn’t want me to talk to Mel about our relationship with each other, because she didn’t want Mel to have access to information about her that didn’t concern their child, she couldn’t stop me from speaking to Mel in general. This conversation was the closest thing we’d had to an argument the entire time we’d known each other and was completely healthy in my view.
After Sandi and I got off the phone, I talked with Mel. During the conversation, Mel apologized for blocking me without saying anything first. She went on to say that she blocked a bunch of people because she wanted to create as much space between herself and her abuser” (Sandi) as possible. I said that I understood, that I had no ill will towards her, and that regardless of my relationship with Sandi I would be there for her in any way she needed me to be.
On one hand, this was the first time that Mel had used the word abuse when referring to Sandi’s actions and I feel like I have a responsibility to act as a result. The proper next step to finding out someone you know has been abusive is to cut them off, right? If I continue to be in a relationship with Sandi, at worst I’m saying “Fuck Mel, my values, and victims of abuse everywhere.” And at best, I’m saying to Mel that I don’t value our relationship enough to end my relationship with Sandi because she was mean occasionally, gaslight her sometimes, in addition to whatever else happened that idk about. I’m supposed to center the victim's needs and I’m not supposed to empathize with the abuser. I know this.
On the other hand, Mel has already blocked me and while I value our relationship and meant it when I said that I am someone she can always talk to, we haven’t been as close as Sandi and I now are for years. While no one ever deserves to be spoken to cruelly by loved ones, especially not Mel who has a really great heart, there were certainly times in Mel and I’s past relationship where I thought mean things in anger too. I never said those things and Sandi shouldn’t have either, but I can understand how one gets to that point when arguing with someone who continuously demands a response, even when you try to take a break or end the conversation. I certainly acknowledge their relationship was harmful to Mel and Sandi is definitely the most in the wrong, but I want to acknowledge that she has taken steps to diffuse the situation as well.
There should have never been any physical violence in the first place, but does Sandi get any credit for not repeating the behavior and seeking therapy? Is cutting Sandi off mandatory if she acknowledged the harm, has taken steps to end the harmful relationship (outside of their kid), and is working to change her behavior? How much extra grace does she get for being in mourning of her family members? Am I allowed to see both sides or does Sandi's side matter if Mel feels she was abused? What if this is just a fight and I cut Sandi off but then Mel calms down and walks her language back?
Most meaningfully, do I have any ethical options outside of ending my relationship with Sandi? I definitely hear myself sounding very “I know she did wrong but I love her ☹️“ almost to the point of victim-blaming and will accept the read that I get and that I need to break up with her if you all say so, but really feel like this is more complicated than it seems... Maybe not though?
tl;dr I’m dating someone who used to be in a relationship with my ex gf. Our mutual ex is saying my partners abusive but I am not being abused and don’t want to cut my partner off.
