my favorite part is definitely the reinforcement of trust and dependency through physical contact!! im a grian fictive so it hurts a lot but it's exquisitely written and i can also relate to wanting to rip feathers out

goshhhh yeah. that. that's so good.

there's something about a world that only ever wants to hurt them. about their skin (and feathers) only knowing fear and cruelty since waking up here.

and yet here they are. offering gentleness to soothe each other's terrified, tired, bruised hearts.

i'm very normal about them.
