it makes me a little insane getting to know my classmates in a group project because half the group did not have their textbooks (either bought or 2 week trial version) by the 2nd friday despite deadlines having come and gone for textbook work and i just wonder what tf theyve been doing this whole time

#they didnt even know how to get to the sites despite every single prof having outlined it in class multiple times #were you on mars when we were in class??? what were you doing with your fancy laptop except following along in class???????#i have to work with these people for a grade??? they keep asking me and the one other responsible person questions #like we're the teacher #huh????? is this really what college students are normally like??#even the woman ive sort of latched onto (since we're both mature students) barely seems to know whats going on #GIRL YOU WERE IN THE WORKFORCE FOR 10 YEARS HOW ARE YOU LIKE THIS #anyway my point is people are less put together than you think they will be. i bought nice clothes and shoes and made the concious decision #to focus very hard on school and make it my life as much as i could because i know thats the only way I'll be able to get by #at a level similar to a neurotypical person. and the world comes back to me with classmates who dont even know how to use the school website #despite being explicitly instructed 6 separate times while they had their laptops in frontof them #whatever level you are at #youre doing fine. i promise.#delete later
