it'll never not be funny to me that the bg1/2 protag is known as Gorion's Ward. even by people who never knew gorion. imagine going about your life and people refer to you as your 'parents name's child.' like. Jack's Daughter. Marian's Son. Tim's Child. even people who never have met your parents. like your boss. university professor. your greatest enemies. strangers even you've never met before (who still don't know your parents!)
