You know what I'm going to say it. For as colorful as all the promotional material for Vol. 3 was (posters and the overall design language used for merch etc) the film itself sure is the most dusty and 2010-color-graded-looking film in the whole trilogy.

#lex thoughts #this is negative because i think the film looks... i dont know. dusty and musty and i can taste gravel every time i see a 4k screenshot #“lex if it was colorful it'd kill the serious mood!!!!”#but then why is vol. 2 the most beautiful film ive ever seen when it's only slightly less serious. it too even has a skinless meat man in i #quite genuinely i think it looks like the suicide squad but in space (and barely even that) and i just dont get why.#bestie Devin said it got Gunn-ified but THEN!!! WHY WAS VOL. 2 ALLOWED TO LOOK SO NICE!!!
