I feel that person doesn't know that gwynriels and eluciens pettiness is VERY big, you think gwynriel being popular is because is a great ship? LOL obviously not, this people saw a woman talking to azriel and decided their mates (they decided before acosf was fully out mind you and the BC didn't existed yet so what is their excuse) and what did they did when people calling them crazy? MASSIVE bullying, harassment to artists and any big acotar blog/website who just accepted elriel or even ELAIN was automatically flooded by gwynriels mad they still liked the obvious couple who they had been liking since book two... like I was not even into the fanbase when acosf came out and hell break loose but even as casual reader I saw clearly what gwynriels where doing (and eluciens gladly backing them up cause of course)

Not to mention the "elain is evil, elain should die" sentiment they still believe and spread to this day, also tamlin x elain is their fault.

Look at the elain week that happened recently for example! The OFFICIAL elain week/month is on September, it was planned not only by an elriel shipper but an elucien one and even a third admin who was more of a casual reader, and guess what happened? That's right, for some reason and elucien and gwynriel decided to make it early because it wanted to do their own week for her (a lie, they saw elriel art/scenes was permitted along with elucien) lord and behold the op managing that week has big elriels accounts blocked and didn't reblogged or showed at all content who implied azriel precense in elain's art/edits/fics etc

Also imagine the fucking DRAMA it would cause if an elriel person did a gwynriel/gwyn week.... lets not pretend last elain week was anything but normal and heavily elucien/lucien stans integrated lol

I'm not even going to touch on the fact gwynriel is a crackship and their stans where born to play the victim considering how they have to defend 24/7 their horrible theories (including and not limited to the pliant bones) and the fact that gwyn SA is not a big deal and somehow sexy how azriel "rescued her" but well, we can talk about that for days....

Hi Nike! I just wanted to inform you and every Elriels out there that some people in this fandom are "preparing" too for May aka Elriel month. Heard from friend of a friend that there's clearly a bait, so it's better if Elriels knew first hand especially those on twitter so they would not spare these people their precious time. Some people hated the sudden uprise of new readers and artist loving Elriel .

I wished these people are mature enough and know how to respect people in this fandom who just wanted to enjoy/celebrate a ship, but they won't. They're in too deep in "winning" and messing with Elriels. That's all I could say for now. I still don't know if they will push this but heard it's most likely 90% to happen that they'll release everything left and right during the month and just to taunt and bait. They prepared for this. All those money for being so petty.
