I have to say, as good us aro Doctor truthers are eating right now, I have already seen people going hard onto the "Ten is the first alloromantic Doctor" train, and it's just really exhausting to me. I was fighting tooth and nail for people to stop denying my aroace Doctor interpretations regarding all Doctors for ages, and Ten has always been an especially big battleground. This reveal sort of makes it even worse in that regard...

i saw a post saying that they couldn't believe nine was incapable of romantic feelings when [multiple gifs of him being affectionate towards rose] so definitely there are ppl in the fandom who are just, like, Not Normal about aro/ace people at all lmao. we just have to accept that, ig </3. and definitely yeah 20 years are taken off my lifespan every time i see someone call ten the "casanova" doctor, insisting he's allo, etc when he was heavily coded as aspec especially in s3 and 4 and david tennant is on record saying he's asexual (likely used in an umbrella term way too since it was in 2008 and brought up in the context of everyone in the universe wanting to kiss him...) idk like this character is just incredibly aspec and they bounce around the aspec spectrum across every incarnation, i think that's something that's very easy to understand and accept lol
