Doesn’t mean they won’t have some fun with you, if you have a TF or two. But it’s a lot less likely that they will get fixated on you. (i.e.: starts pestering you 24/7 and takes notes on you in their encyclopedia when back at home like a freak)

(I wont say never, but both the characters they’re fixated on atm are full humans, with very bad awareness- who are also church related in some way, lol)

The sliding scale is essentially:

(Human) on one side and (Inhuman) Plantpeople on the other. Limone is a little off from the plant people position)

Basically, anyone who started out as a human and has gained a Transformation would still read as inherently more human, than inhuman to them, compared to wolf people for example. The more TFs a person has, the more they start to be in a weird, muddy inbetween area (still recognizable as human though and always more human than Limone) - but they might be a little less compelled because of that. That’s due to a few things:

(They subconsciously want to be seen as, treated and held to the same standard as a human. Even when they keep falling short of it lmao.  It’s debatable how successful they are in that regard but they go out of their way to suppress a lot of their instincts.)

Limone is technically a 100% plant person. I say technically, because theyre a plantperson gone wrong, gone inadvertently merged with a human- whoops. and unaware of it- whooooopsss Thus their biggest internal conflict is the way that speck of humanity clashes with their nature as a plant person and the inherent suffering that comes with humanity in general. They don’t like other plant people. Are disgusted by their natural inclinations, their lack of self control and unwitting cruelty*

‘I am NOT like them, Limone wants to snarl. Nothing like those other mindless drones, with no common sense or self control- Who pluck wings from insects just as easily as they do limbs from people just to sate their own sick curiosity.’

*(Little note to add here: in my personal canon, plant people are kind of  hive mind-ish and very much Fae-like in disposition. They are quite cheerful and bubbly and maybe even nice sometimes, but will be cruel at the drop of a hat and not even realize that’s what they’re doing. So imo they end up killing the majority of the people they abduct. Just by virtue of their carelessness, plus the over exhaustion due to sex and nectar overdoses)

Limone vaguely knows that something is wrong with them, but isn't aware of the what or why. They know how they *should* be and they know what they want to be. But they dont really fit into either category.  Too human to be like every other plant person npc, yet not human enough to truly fit in as one. So If they can't be what they physically are, and they feel this draw to people, then that must mean that they are a human. or at least a person. maybe?

They aren’t though. 

Emotions overwhelm them, because theyre not really supposed to experience them and even then, the range that they have (so far?) is limited. (And they cope with it by self harming; they abuse pain to force their body to overwrite any overwhelming/unpleasant emotions they’re feeling)

They pride themself on their self-control compared to regular plantpeople and the fact that they don’t rape or kill humans but Limone arguably, encroaches on that territory. It just veers on the side of dubcon rather than noncon. So it might be more gradual than outright force, but they keep poking, prodding and pestering until, Luci for example, gives in. They have a predatory/sadistic streak in them no matter how much they like to think that they de-fanged themself or are better than other plantpeople. They ofc wouldn't like it at all when if its put like that.

Then there's the obvious physical differences: They can morph their body to a degree, they have yellow skin, black sclera- yellow eyes, a black tongue and sharp teeth (even when they can rip them out and regrow them). They can’t die, can squish their own memories out of existence like pimples, can manipulate vines and grow plants easily. Substances don’t work on them. They wouldn’t even need to eat if they hadn’t made it so they could.

Because of (gestures at previous chunk of text) all of that, they tend to most easily grow fixated on humans with no TFs. Because they idolize humanity somewhat. Not to an unhealthy degree. They just adore humans and are fascinated by them. So infinitely complex and bright. No one human quite like the other.

You’re lucky though, because they are a very hedonistic person (and a whore) so they like to have fun. Wherever they remember you after or actively pursue you is a different story though.

Okay enough explanations- Time for dirty talk:

Yes, Limone would have a lot of fun teasing you. They’ve made themself lactate before, they know how agonizing it can be. How uncomfortable it is to run around with plump, full tits, practically begging to be milked.

It depends how sadistic they’re feeling at the time. They’d enjoy giving you immediate relief, just as much as being a lil mean.

They’d locked him in his room again. Delta was getting the sickest sense of déjà vu. He was glad the tap was still running and that he’d been stashing food, because the first three days they’d forgotten to feed him. Maybe it was understandable. The Thorn had descended into chaos, presumably. Simon didn’t even come see him, probably in a total tizzy over his ever-dwindling job security. Delta had been locked up alone for a week now. When he’d first been thrown in here, he’d still been splattered with Paris’s blood.

He turned the fan on, letting the cold air wash over him. It helped to calm him down. 

The only access he had to the outside world was with the laptop. Everyone online knew. There had been grainy footage posted of the assassination attempt. Everyone thought it was Nezu. In truth, the Thales bloodlust ran deep — and it ran in different directions. There could have been any number of mercenaries who were carrying out their business against the imperial line. But there was no denying that Paris’s death would certainly be convenient for the general.

Paris’s actual condition was uncertain. He wasn’t dead yet, not officially. But Delta had seen the spot where the arrow pierced him. They were probably just keeping him on ice. He could already see how this would play out. Paris would die. The next person to inherit Δ-107 would be Nezu, who had already made his intentions with Delta very clear. He’d put his brain in a jar, if he was feeling merciful. And even if by some miracle he did not end up in Nezu’s court, the odds still weren’t good. If everyone had really found out about the first “escape attempt”, whoever it was would likely kill or maim him. So that was that.

Delta was sick of Empire. Any lingering loyalty he might’ve had to it would die with Paris. This place was a cesspool collapsing in on itself. He felt disgusted and ashamed to have ever been part of it.

There was no one to betray now, no one to punish him, no one to anger and no one to disappoint. He took a deep breath, sorting through the directory once more. There was nothing to lose. He was dead anyway.

He looked briefly through his post history to see if there was anything there that might hint at his identity. But he’d been careful. Before Lemuria, he’d never even acknowledged anything relating to Empire publicly.

His inbox was full. He went through, deleting every single stranger that had messaged him “real?”

this is Not what u asked but i will take the open stage to talk abt one of my fav ocs that doesnt get as much attention anymore but still deserves it lol

this is phaedra (who really needs an updated ref or any new art in general lmao)- they're a dnd character i designed once in an attempt to make the most self-indulgent character design possible lmao so theyre a little bit of a mary sue but its fun dw abt it. they're a changeling (shapeshifter) as well as a vampire, and has a ton of identity issues related to it that they like to bury under layers and layers of new identities and facades and flirting with cute girls at the tavern lmao

their backstory is that phaedra (originally born/named jinn) grew up in a group of nomadic changelings (who typically live like this to avoid being caught by bounty hunters who want to sell them/their body parts) but at a young age their group was attacked by said bounty hunters and they were separated from their family. they assumed the appearance of an elf girl and integrated into a nearby village to wait until their family came to find them, but... years passed and nothing. eventually it became unsafe to stay there, so jinn took on another role, another personality, another life, over and over for decades and then centuries, still hoping to find their family someday

in their "current" life as phaedra, they had a bad encounter with a group of vampires who turned them too. already feeling like them being a changeling was a curse, having to deal with vampirism too tanked phaedra straight into outright hating themself and everything abt themself. they came to see vampirism as a literal and metaphorical plague, and started trying to find a cure for it... while also vowing to kill any vampire they met. they're having a normal one

from here their story kinda branches off into a few different possible paths but that's all the background . i love them

so! horses are an important part of this game. to quote my best friend and the biggest horse + horsegame fan i know (gabe @porthavens):

it's not a true "horse sim", in that taking care of horses isnt a major gameplay mechanic with significant impacts. but there are MANY different kinds of horses with different stat levels, and you can tame wild horses OR buy horses from stables, and you can pet+feed+clean your horse, and you can form a bond with your horse by earning their trust. IMPORTANT Is that you can also name them and style their mane/tail differently.

now forgive me as i go into more detail because im allergic to simple answers:

what he said honestly got the basics i think. you feed your horse food or give it medicine to heal it/help it replenish energy, brush it to keep it clean, you have the choice of bringing hay to them at camp, you can use them to hunt or as transportation. etc. in general theyre really useful!! theyre well implemented in the game and thats important imo considering the time period its set in + who the main characters are.

(and thats not even touching how theres like. honestly so much detail put into each breed having a distinct body type + the coat colors and tail dynamics like theyre honestly just so well animated. and horses are notoriously difficult to animate. but they feel real, down to how their coats ripple)

i feel like RDR2 especially handles the horse as not only a mechanic or a vehicle for the player but also like... as a way of furthering characterization + humanizing the characters.

each of the main characters in the gang have their own horse that stays with them, or doesnt, throughout the game. its apart of their personality + identity. something important to know is that in the genre of westerns theres a visual motif with white hats, black hats, and similarly with black horses + white horses. it usually is as cut and dry as "bad buy wears black + has black horse, good guy has white hat and horse" and we dont have time to unpack that but it DOES mean that when we are introduced to certain characters its important to look at whats close to their identity and see

dutch van der linde, the leader, + father figure to the main characters, as long as an antagonist, has a black hat, but the most unique white horse. on the contrast, micah bell, the true antagonist of rdr2, has a black horse and white hat.

^ horse and hat spiel aside its about how each character is talked about in relation to their horse. dutch's horse, the count, looks more like an aristocrats pet. baylock, micah's horse, looks starved and bleeding later on in the game. john and arthur can talk to their horses and hum on horseback and call them petnames. each horse has a personality that informs the characters story yk.

lastly its like...... you do grow attached to your horses that You get. i had a grullo dun mustang named merlin (yk. arthur and merlin. arthur gets compared to the legend by jack his nephew) and i adored her. i also watched her die as arthur thanked her. its like. its about how the horses are more than a game mechanic but also more than just a narrative device. perfect blend

I wasn’t calling you out in particular! Sorry if it came across like that haha. I’m guilty about being a hater too sometimes but it does come from a place of love like you said. Recently I got into Star Wars again and while the Star Wars fandom has A LOT of problems that I’m very vocal about, I really felt a disconnect between fandom there and fandom here. I’ve never once felt like someone who wrote a Star Wars fanfic never watched the movies or the tv shows and 99% of the time they are extremely knowledgeable about the franchise, yet half the time with DC I wonder if the person who wrote a fanfic even knows who Duke is lmao.

i think that a big difference with the star wars fandom and the dc fandom is that with star wars even though theres A Lot of different things, its a little more contained than comics, bc comics have so many different story lines and runs and it can get intimidating to new people, whereas with star wars its pretty easy to just sit down and watch the movies without 300 different conflicting timelines

its not as bad once you get started with comics bc once you know what character you want to read there are reading lists for all of them out there, but for the people just getting started or the people that have never read a comic it seems very intimidating to know that theres like 80+ years of history with all these characters and no good way to start

and i know that star wars has a lot of extended universe stuff (my roommate is a star wars nerd so i know a little bit about the other stuff despite only seeing the movies) but its still much easier to start with the movies and move on from there with star wars, but with dc the movies arent even in the same universe as the comics so its not like you can even start with a movie and understand whats going on in comics :( i actually just mentioned this to my roommate and he said "star wars is so much easier because every character has a clear start and end point, theyre born and eventually they die" whereas comics are just a neverending narrative

but i totally get what youre saying bc before dc ive never been in a fandom of people that just. didnt consume the source material. so its weird to think about fan content there where everything was related to canon, then compare it to dc where a lot of the people making fan content dont care at all about canon :/ especially when theyre excluding or mischaracterizing all the characters :/// things are bad, i never venture outside my immediate circle or lest i be exposed to the worst takes known to man

I CANNOT live a day with the worry of an argument it stresses me out so much

Alr not to vent but ive seen most ppl have this friend that they just cant say no to. Like its IMPOSSIBLE.

I have a friend like that, shes legit my closest friend. I have this trauma from like 3 years ago, she randomly just some day went "i dont wanna be friends with you anymore, r***a gives you too much attention." The girl i just metioned, my closest friend and i are a trio (theyre literally my closest friends). Back on topic HOW TF IS IT MY FAULT SHE GIVES ME TOO MUCH ATTENTION. But i was too distracted by the fact she didnt wanna be friends anymore that I didnt even realize how logicless it was. We had been friends for about 4 years back then (7 now) and i was DEVASTATED. No thats an understatement.

I was so sad that I went to my mum and cried to her for an hour straight.

After that she lowkey became controlling. Whenever i did something she didnt like, shed block me unannounced and wouldnt even tell me what pissed her off. Her anger issues are off the boundaries till today. She gets mad at the littlest of things. When i dont do something she wants she goes on to persuade me by telling me shed tell a certain someone my secrets or block me everywhere etc.

But till this day i cant unfriend her because first of all, im too scared to. Shed get all annoyed and talk behind my back shit. Secondly, forget the first one I just CANT. Whenever i wanna think of unfriending her i just get reminded of all the fun times we had all these years and end up with tears.

Besides all that, youd be surprised to believe she has been one of my best friends ever. Nobody would believe me. But in reality i love her too much to let go if

this isnt a 1:1 retelling for both medias, i mostly retell the duel monsters story but set in the magical universe, with plot and worldbuilding elements of both. there are 8 "seasons" and one "movie".

both og and 4kids versions of both medias will be taken into consideration for ideas and such

the worldbuilding is also not a 1:1 of winx but an expanded version of it, with both changes and additions. basically whatever the winx fandom has been doing for the past three years. theres going to be another post for worldbuilding that im eventually going to link in a masterpost

there are some ocs but they have minimal roles or are inspired by a version of the character (like s0 yami)

took some liberty with ages and family relations for storytelling reasons (atem and yuugi are brothers as theyre basically daphne and bloom, so are ryou and yamiba, mokuba and seto are older than the gang BUT STILL BIG BRO AND LITTLE BRO)

basics

yuugi is basically the bloom of the au: has lived with his (unknowingly to him not biological) grandfather since he can remember, helped him manage his game shop in the city of gardenia. he's actually the lost prince of the kingdom of domino (shocker!) and a fairy. theres this weird spirit clad in gold with a mask and spiky hair begging him to help him remember who he is and which speaks to him in his dreams. no hes not going to unpack that yet

jonouchi (who is on the run and using the name joey) is saved by yuugi awakening his powers during a fight exactly like stella is saved by bloom. jou is also a fairy of the sun and moon. said fight is against rishid, who was supposed to get the "ring of solaria" from jou, who then refused, so he had to resort to drastic measures (*malik voice* "get his ass")

yuugi goes to alfea with jou!! boy has two invites which he stole for himself (and shizuka in case she ever found out she was a fairy jic), and so yuugi can get in. for some reason all the professors look at him weird (save him). also everyone keeps talking about the anniversary of this "fall of domino" which happened 16 years ago and he doesnt know why he gets shivers everytime he thinks abt it

there he meets his and jou's roommates for the rest of the year!! anzu (princess of lynphea and fairy of nature), honda (ex-specialist who just awakened his fairy form and transfered from red fountain, fairy of metals from zenith) and ryou (fairy of sounds from melody). they all get along immediately although with some awkwardness. with this, the plot starts setting into motion, and its a mix of winx s1 and duelist kingdom

alfea is run by pegasus, who was the vice-headmaster before his wife cynthia, former headmaster, died in the fall of domino while trying to help civilians. he's as spoiled and weird as in canon and as obsessed with his goal to bring her back. he's a fairy of imagination

the rest of the faculty isnt really fond of him tbh. especially newly appointed technomagic and draconology professor seto kaiba, who is also the crown prince of the planet of zenith and fairy of dragons. many thought he wasnt ready to take a seat in the faculty as he isnt a guardian fairy or even earned the charmix power up, but he's one of the smartest and best students they've ever had, so *of course* he managed to get it. being filthy rich also helped.

(kaibacorp is still a thing here, and seto is still ceo. however here gozaburo is alive and king of zenith, and thus he still watches over seto like an hawk. he will die eventually ofc but i wanted to explore how seto would be like in adulthood if gozaburo was still around, although a distant threat. dw, the "losing is death" thing still gets drilled into seto's head)

rule of thumb for every student and teacher is: do not ask professor kaiba about his time at alfea, he really doesnt want to think about it. others will tell you he was close friends with current queen of andros ishizu ishtar (fairy of waves and nymph of andros) and deceased crown prince of domino atem, former fairy and nymph of the dragon flame.

mokuba is a specialist. he has graduated and completed his knighthood training at redfountain for a while, and is now an assistant to both his brother and the redfountain headmaster for all magic-school related bs. he may be older than in canon but hes still baby And a little shit. and! he and seto are still two peas in a pod <3

other than alfea and redfountain, of course there is the school for witches: cloudtower. the headmaster is tkb, here named yuzuru (fake name!!!), an extremely powerful dark witch of sands, nobody knows his true age. one of their best students is mai valentine, a witch of storms from callisto who is finishing up her last year and thinks the concept of covens is lame and overrated

"yeah but whos the trix" well i mean three people who are/have been antagonists and would have beef with the protagonists for personal reasons but also would work really well with each other as characters and have a fun and even slightly dramatic synergy bc of the fuckery between them all. tl;dr:

torchwood audio dramas are a bit complicated cause like. theres tbe monthly range which is just standalone stories with different characters set in different points in time. usually one or two characters from the show + some 1-episode characters....... often the show characters are from the team but theres also been audios on bilis or yvonne and theres been audios only with new characters

then theres s5-6-7 which are. the continuation of the show. so jack, gwen, and the new team characters

and theres special releases which are boxsets about different things. theres a series about torchwood one (which is my fave because it has ianto before the Horrors of the battle of canary wharf and i love some ianto backstory), there's one set in the 1950s,....

i haven't listened to everything because there is A Lot so i mostly focus on the ianto ones but ill catch up on everything eventually probably

soemthing really interesting about orr is that their shape-shifting abilities are basically all about being what the people around them want them to be. at first it was just who the people are attracted to but over time its become a lot wider than that, like in an episode i listened to today the city ran out of clean water so obviously EVERYONE wanted water and orr literally became a watrr supply. and it was very bad for them. but yeah since theyre supposed to become what other people want they kinda struggle to like, be themselves instead of following other people's expectations its so interesting.......... i liked seeing them with javk because jack is always trying really hard not to take advantage of their powers even unconsciously while the others don't always pay attention to that. unfortunately jack might nevrr come back to anything doctor who related ever again because john barrowman is a weirdo 😔 but its okay theres loads of other characters. tbh i think part of the reason ianto is back in s7 is because they need characters from the original team to keep people interested lol, theres gwen but with the rampant misogyny of fandom a lot of people hate her. but no one hates ianto because hes perfect (though if he were a woman he would probably have gotten loads of backlash like gwen did lol)
