no offense but if ur a therapist i think u honestly shouldn't post about your client's problems/things that happen during sessions even if it contains no identifying information. it's technically legal, but do you not just feel like a scumbag doing it?? very vulnerable people trust you and pay you, and you handle that huge responsibility by..... gossiping about it??? yikes.

#even if it's lighthearted or silly if u don't have permission you should not repeat a single thing a client says to you #part of the reason im finding a new therapist is that mine talks way too much abt her other patients #and im justifiably concerned that she's also telling all them about me without my consent #this is in direct response to someone sending fucking neil gaiman an ask #claiming that they had to pretend not to know who he was in front of a patient #which a) not necessary?? knowing who neil gaiman is will not fuck up your therapeutic techniques lmfao #and b) to lie to your patient then post about it online is a hell of a choice to make #also felt rly bad for the kid who commented saying his therapist basically doesn't listen to him #like. ur allowed to change therapists u don't need to put up with someone who doesn't understand you #just having a psychology degree does not automatically make you qualified to treat mentally ill people imo #lots of absolutely terrible therapists in the world and i think most of them have tumblr accounts #bri babbles
