Hello! I’m pretty sure I’m romanticizing Drago with my answer, but who cares; he is our terrifying/adorable Gecko Boi that needs proper lovin’s <3 (Just in case, I apologize if anything comes off rude, like stereotyping or anything. To me personally I think what I’m saying is fine, but I have a tendency to not recognize that in reality it may not be okay, which is a negative trait about Asperger’s. I will do my best with watching what I type while keeping a uniqueness of answers to this question).

Let’s see, nothing would be too different with having the s/o be different shapes and/or sizes, but the first headcannons that could be different are: more intimate cuddling, interesting dinner situations, and implemented exercising routines. Let me explain:

More Intimate Cuddling

It’s human nature to long for physical affection, and when that affection does not occur enough, the individual will become touch starved. With how the family dynamic of Drago and Shendu is, and believing Drago is part human (which is a social animal), I’m pretty sure it’s safe to assume the poor guy got absolutely zero physical affection and is touch starved

From what we see as how demons interact with one another, it’s probably taboo to express any soft affections like cuddling. So, with Drago being raised in demon culture, he would restrain from hugging in a romantic relationship no matter how much his human half needs it

Eventually Drago would try it out with the s/o (of course assuming this person is someone he emotionally needs) and get an appropriate amount of the physical affection he oh so deserves. But what if one could give him more?

You see, an average sized person is okay to cuddle, but one would undoubtedly have some prominent bones, like the pelvis and rib cage, getting in the way. So, having more body tissue that creates more curves and roundness are the absolute perfect physical traits for cuddling; all that huggable squish in a large, soft figure that naturally emits soothing warmth is The Dream~

Drago may be able to resist the urge to cuddle normally, but with someone who has an overabundance of love, affection, and support for him, succumbing is inevitable

I’m not sure how to describe it properly, but with a larger person, they can give more physical affection and have it be more effective because of said size. The more warmth emitted from the body, and the squishier it is, creates this sense of ultimate comfort. It’d be like cuddling a large, soft, stuffed animal that can and does contain a heater in it. However, the major difference between that stuffed animal and another living creature is the ability to produce hormones. The mere action of hugging someone for, like, 20 seconds or so, in general creates this hormone that tells one another that they are safe. Imagine hugging something that not only can produce this hormone, but can produce it in large quantities. And those large quantities not only potentially can come from the large person, but because of said person’s natural warmth and softness, the individual being hugged (Drago in this instance) will produce huge amounts as well, making them much more positive all around

So, with all this being said, it would be a lot harder for Drago to stay away from hugging a plus-sized s/o because human physiology

Interesting Dinner Situations

Logically speaking, the more energy one uses, and the larger they are, the more food they need to consume

With Drago, he is a growing demon boy who needs lots of protein and minerals to keep that bod of his nice and strong, as well as fueling his magic power alongside his physical energy. Naturally he’d be a carnivore, eating meats and fish. Could his physiology digest other foodstuffs? Probably, but he’d most likely prefer proteins

With the s/o, they’d need to consume a lot of food to sustain their body naturally. Fruits and veggies are always good, and carbs are full of energy. But what’s the most savory and energy giving? Proteins!

So, picture this: Drago and the s/o are out on a date to some fancy restaurant or whatever and there are other people there. You see all the normal people having their normal dinners, but Drago and the s/o? Just... large quantities of food. I’m talking some t-bone steaks here being scarfed down with wonderfully roasted/steamed vegetables and juicy fruits to go along

Eating is fun, and it brings a lot of good-feeling hormones into production. In addition, I think Drago would like to have someone he can eat giant meals with, simply because it’s something they both have in common

If ya gonna be a s/o to a demon prince, you gonna eat like royalty

As a little added bonus: Chocolate! I personally love chocolate, but i do understand not everyone does. However, let’s just play up the s/o loves chocolate because, well, it’s delicious

Drago doesn’t know what to get them for Valentine’s Day? Boom, chocolate. Drago doesn’t know what to give as a random gift? Boom, chocolate. Drago doesn’t know what to do when they’re depressed? Boom, chocolate. It may be stereotypical, but ya know what? Chocolate is delicious and it has a chemical within it that triggers happy hormones, and it’s one of the easiest, sweetest gifts one can give

Besides, for me personally, I adore chocolate and would want nothing more as a gift *I say as I stare at my three bags of Reese’s Cups in my video game wardrobe*

Implemented Exercising Routines

Along with the food consumption, the dergen boi needs to keep in shape so he can kick anyone’s ass for whatever reason

Does the s/o need to exercise with him? Not in the way you think. Unless they actually want to, then, okay. Go ahead.

Anyways, they could be a towel person, water person, timer person, etc, but what would even be more useful? They ARE the workout items! If the s/o is heavy enough, they can just be the weight lifts!

I mean, yeah Drago can lift up a car when his adrenaline kicks in, but it’s the thought and inclusion that counts, right?

I... can’t really think of anything else with this really. Just, workout partner who also fills in as workout equipment for bonding. Maybe this is the only time they can shout at him without personally pissing him off XD

But hey, they can totes pull off that lift from Dirty Dancing, which I’m sure Drago at least knows of, given all the pop culture references he makes in the show
