Being a Scooby-Doo fan and/or DC fan gets harder and harder everyday. This merger was specifically designed to make my life worse.
I canât believe there is numerous projects that they arenât going to release, that they are just going to keep shelved. Art that people put their time and energy and passion into that is going to be lost for years, maybe decades.
#Scooby-Doo#dc#wb discovery#bring back time warner#leslie grace#she deserved to have her movie released#a scooby doo musical with the hex girls?#just on shelves?#a pre-school show with cute little pups?#hidden away#the haunted holiday which was going to be a lot better than SCOOB#even beyond the merger I'm annoyed with them#make Jon a kid again#Alan Scott and Velma Dinkley should be bisexual#only good thing is that they finally released the third daphne and velma book#hope we get more leaks#can't believe that#i'm willing to pay you jackassess

Hey hey heeey~ I just thought of something. What if from the order where the female reader country was forced to get married (That one from Germany and Russia) her boss tells them after a year of the marriage that they want her to get divorced and marry another country for convenience? Saying something like:
"Oh well, since we are better off there is no need for you to stay married to that country, rather I will engage you to another one from which we will get more benefit. Think about your people first and then how you feel, I don't care if you are both in love, you are someone very nice and outgoing lady, I'm sure any other better country will want to marry you."
Do you think it could be with the characters England, America, Russia, Germany, Canada and Sweden. All separately with 2p version and Yandere 2p? If you want to do it either way that's fine! Thank you very much
I only did four out of the six characters. This is because of my character limit is four, unless you ask for a specific group. You are more than welcome to request part two for the ones I didnât do, or even a part one for the ones I did this time. A yandere version could also be written. Thank you again for the request, I hope you have a good day!
Russia â When his little wife comes to him with this appalling news Viktor will not be pleased. He had publicly declared that he loved you, and you had done the same. Viktor had also gone above and beyond in his duties as a husband. His love for you had led to amazingly beneficial for your people, and yet your boss wanted to end that.
Viktor, on the other hand, does understand that your boss wants whatâs best for your people, but he doesnât care. As long as you are healthy and he can help you, then there is no need for another. Viktor also carries the belief that divorce is only needed for extreme situations, and that other problems can and should be worked out.
In addition, if you are willing, Viktor is willing to raise hell to protect your marriage. He starts simply enough, pressuring your boss with his presence and offering details about why the two of you should remain united. Treaties and trade are the biggest pushes Viktor gives, but as time goes on, they become what Viktor uses against your boss. Many nations would avoid trading because of Viktorâs words, while enemies would start to rise from almost nowhere.
In the end, your boss will give in. Viktor is a big nation with lots to offer, he is correct in that he can not only provide for you but your people as well. So, why not keep letting him do so.
Sweden â Bernard only looks like he takes the news well. Though his hustru knows better, they can see the tightness in his smile. He is not pleased. Even if you thought had a fleeting feeling of just giving in to your boss, Bernard is there to remind you why it is important to fight for your marriage.
Being silver-tongued, Bernard has the benefit of easing his hustru while also convincing your boss to drop this evil idea. It may take some work, but Bernard is not easily dissuaded. He will spend hours with your boss, learning all he can while still dropping hints about how there is no benefit to taking you from him.
If it doesnât work, then your boss gets annoyed. He wonât outright yell because Bernard has been nothing but diplomatic to him. Your boss may not even be able to deny the good points, but your boss refuses to give in. Especially since other bosses have sent in letters about marrying you to their nations. This is Bernardâs tipping point.
From this Bernard will resort to his final trick, disappearing. He has done with all kinds of people for all kinds of reasons throughout the centuries. Even though his own bosses have found some hiding places, they havenât found them all. So, Bernard, will bring you both to the oldest one and hunker down until this is all done away with.
Since both of you are important, I can see this working. After like three months, your boss will give in and your marriage will be stronger than ever.
England â At the news Oliver is going to be shocked. He knew that bosses could be stupid, but he never knew that one would be so stupid as to cross him. His shock turns into giggles as he walks over to you and gives a quick kiss. Smoothing your hair, Oliver lets you know not to worry.
Oliver is the king of getting his way. He comes on strong because he wants to make sure that your boss knows why this should not go through. Firstly, Oliver is gonna send a box of cupcakes and a letter. The cupcakes wonât kill, but your boss is gonna feel all kinds of sick. Think the cupcakes Todd Packer gives out in the Office. The letter will be simply written, but still carry the deadly intent. It contains details about what should happen if your boss would continue to attempt to destroy his marriage.
You wonât be able to warn your boss about any of this, because youâll be with Oliver, enjoying a wonderful date. He also wonât tell you that this is his plan. The only clue you get that anything happened is a phone call.
The call pretty much your boss apologizing for attempting to hurt you and saying have a good night with Oliver. After you two celebrate, Oliver will call your boss. He tells your boss a simple thank you, before walking over to cuddle with you.
Germany â This lazy guard dog gets aggressive once in a while, and this is that moment. He is your husband; he has given himself to you and only you. If you canât stop your boss, he will. The thought alone of you being taken, causes his angry burns so intensely that he starts to turn red. His breathing gets ragged, and Luther grabs the nearest phone.
With the phone in hand, Luther dials your boss. In those tense few seconds of silence, attempts at calming him down only lead to him pulling you to him. There he just pets your head, until your boss answers. Not even a syllable is spoken before the grilling starts.
Words of anger, betrayal, and threats fly from the mouths of both parties. It takes about five minutes before the phone is angrily thrown down. Pulling you even closer, Luther promises that he will fix this and ensure that you two will remain as one.
Lutherâs next choice of action is to use his resources. First, he will go to his boss. Offer deals in ways that could help you two remain together. If they work great, Luther will return to his laid-back self, if not then it's gonna get scary.
Luther calls on favors that heâs been owed. It adds up to quite a bit and tell them all to either drop their courtship or face his fists. This works for many nations, there are many recalls and a huge drop of interest in you. Those that still persist, Luther calls in the rest of the Axis for help. He will do the beat down, but the rest of them help keep away the allies of the offender.
In the end, you two win. Mainly because everyone realizes Luther loves you enough to give up his lazy lifestyle, and this leads to no one wanting to court you. Lutherâs aggressive state will calm with the news, and he will go back to being a lazy guard dog. Always close, giving you affection and you two will celebrate like true husband and wife.
Yandere Version: So, the yandere version of this story would have ended differently. There would have been more stalking, and preparations made by the nations to ensure that their sweet little ray of light remains theirs. Also, in my opinion, yandere is a horror trope and as such having them as her husband would be horrific. Unless Stockholm syndrome takes hold, it's only gonna be bliss for one party.
Russia â As a yandere who had his ŃĐŸĐŽĐœĐ°Ń within his arms, Viktor is willing to go to war to ensures that she stays there.
It will start simply enough, like his normal self, Viktor will mention lists of why they should remain together. Similar things as before, but his patience is much shorter than before. As in, the second it is confirmed he has a rival, hell will be raised.
Yandere Viktor does it very simply. Starve your country out. It starts with blockades, the intimidating huge Russian warships start to affect trade. Then it escalates to raiding incoming ships and shooting down planes. It is nothing pretty, and your country will struggle to fight back against this world power.
As your citizens suffer, you will start to feel ill. Viktorâs hurt by your pain; he doesnât show it though. Instead, he holds you close, doing his best to comfort you. Running his fingers through your hair, asking what you need, administering medicine, and more. Though, there would be times when you are alone because of Viktor having to lead the charge against your people. After all, he was the one that wanted it.
In the end, your country is on the verge of collapse. So, they give into the Russian Government, maybe even suggest a merger. Viktor is pleased that you wonât be taken from him and didnât even have to resort to full-out war. Viktor is saddened at your ill state, but he promises to help you rebuild, after all his influences will help make it all better.
Sweden â Bernard is quick to act the second he realizes that your marriage is under threat. He has a horribly awful plan.
First and foremost, you are hidden away. Just like normal Bernard, he will use one of his oldest and best-hidden hiding places. For anyone that is curious, his best hiding spot is like a big hobbit hole. Deep in the ground, warm and cozy. That little piece of nerdiness is where you will stay. Itâs nice until you realize that only Bernard knows where the door is.
Well, Bernard then goes on the offensive. Taking care of any challenges that threaten his spot as your husband. Eventually, thatâs not enough, so Bernard decides to target the source of his marital distress, your boss. With the begrudging help of his brothers, they take your capital. This is where you start to feel ill. For as your capital burns, so do you.
Once your boss is cornered, a simple secret declaration is signed. It is a law that decrees that you shall never be taken from Bernard. As nations, no regular citizens shall be alerted to this new law and it leaves you tied to him. After all, it is said until death do you part.
England â Oliver acts very similarly to his yandere self. Though he is much more direct as a yandere.
Yandere Oliver walks into your bossâ office the moment he hears about this foolish plan. His sources, the flying bunnies, would ensure that he hears this plan before you even have a chance to. At this point in your marriage you have finally calmed down, started to accept your place by his side, and he will not risk having you riled up again.
His smile will be like an angered Cheshire cat, wide and tight. No one will want to interact with him and those that watch him pass will pray for his victim. Once he corners your boss and making sure that no one will interfere, Oliver wastes no time drawing his knife.
He is clear with his threat. Let him and his dearie stay together or face a deadly curse. One that would affect all the choices he makes, and yet somehow not harm you in the slightest. Even if your boss gave in to Oliver would make sure scandals would abound, and hopefully, this would push him to either resigning or causing trouble. If your boss causes more trouble then he would have no choice, but to act on your behalf, and kill him.
In the end, Oliver got his wish. You two are still together, and the troublemaker is gone.
Germany â As a yandere, Luther will appear calm at first. It will feel like a trick being played by his kitten. Another attempt at getting away, that is until his own boss calls him.
After that phone call, Luther is quick to start fighting against the order. He starts by asking if you know of anything that could be used against your boss. Scandals, blackmail, family, or even secret pleasures that he could use to his advantage. If you don't give it willingly, then he's gonna force it out of you. Whatever you name, Luther is gonna use.
From there it is simple Luther has his own government back him with whatever info you had forced out of you. It makes for an interesting engagement with your boss. He isnât happy with what happens, but he is willing to work with the German government.
At first, your boss may just extend the time you two are married. Maybe itâs another year or only a few months, but Luther will take it. This gives him more time to figure out something more damaging.
That more damaging thing is killing off your boss. Luther reasons that if he kills off your boss, the next one will keep you together. Luther will do it up close and personal, using his brass knuckles and then his firearm to finish the job. Sure, your nation will be in flames, but his government can clean up the pieces.
From there it's simple, he helped you in a crisis, and now your marriage is secure.

đ„ please tell me all the shit you want about hybe because we're on the same page when it comes to this hellhole of a company lol i might like groups under them but that doesn't mean i appreciate the shit they pull 24/7 and i want someone who's angry with me
the short version is hybe: minimum effort, maximum money grabbing
honestly, i'd like to say this is a scooter braun affect but it all started before that merger. in my opinion all they're doing is just ruining the groups that are part of the company one by one. we dont get bangtan music anymore, we only get "beyond the scene" which is not good music. its mediocre western boy group music that would have been mocked if it had been done by white boys
i'm not gonna get into another rant about the stupid ÂŁ75 album with only 3 new songs on it, its truly the epitome of the "you give me something very valuable, i give you trash" meme
now that its been done with bts, hybe are working on the same business model with seventeen. the music is changing to be more western, there are songs being released in english, songs/albums are being released at midnight est instead of 6pm kst... i fear for the future of seventeen. dont forget that bts used to be self-producing and now they have western producers
as for le sserafim... they really went hard with the "we have sakura and chaewon, thats all we need" and didnt give them a good debut song. its a boring song that doesnt go anywhere and has an annoying repeatative chorus with no substance and the mv was just.... blah. then of course we have the outfits and choreo which are not age appropriate for their 15 year old maknae. this group is a hard pass from me until such time that they stop sexualising a minor, and even then it'll still be a pass because the music isnt good. its very clear that le sserafim has not gone as the company planned considering the original plan was to redebut izone
i feel sorry for all the idols and trainees trapped in contracts with hybe to be honest. they deserve better than the "throw money at it but dont do anything overly special with the money" attitude the company now has
send me a đ„ and kpop topic for an opinion on it

MASTERPIECE (A Yandere Park Jimin AU)
Summary: You thought it was just a painting until you bought it. You thought the man in the frame was beautiful until you saw him. You thought it was a masterpiece until you were ruined.
Pairing: Yandere! JiminĂReader, TaehyungĂReader
Warnings: Contains mentions of smut, deaths, blood, obsessive behaviour and mental health issues. Please read at your own risk.
Heavy pants filled the room as two bodies lay side by side, tangled with each other and smiling at the intimacy they had shared just minutes ago. The lights in the lavish bedroom were dim as rain pattered against the windows, the water drops glistening in the light that came from inside the room.
"How's your merger coming up?"
Taehyung turned his head to face you, admiring the soft features of your face that captured his heart every time he saw them. He shuffled in the sheets, propping himself up on his elbow, his palm pressed against his cheek. With his other hand, he brushed your hair away from your face, a soft smile gracing his lips.
"Well... it's exhausting. Steve is a dick. And I'm not sure how long I'll be able to tolerate him."
You hummed, placing a hand on Taehyung's cheek and softly caressing it as he leaned down to kiss you. Your lips always tasted sweet, a hint of your favourite wine leaving a mellow taste on Taehyung's tongue. Taehyung hated wines but he wasn't sure anymore after having kissed you a thousand times.
With a final peck, he got off the bed, grabbing his jeans and pulling them up his legs. You rolled over in bed, resting your chin on the back of your hands as your eyes raked over his body. Every inch of his skin was inviting and his face didn't help your case either. He was just so ethereal. So godlike.
"And here I was, thinking you'd stay for round two." You teased, twirling your hair between your fingers and biting your lips. You knew it was his weakness, he'd come right back to you whenever you did that.
Taehyung buttoned his jeans and turned to you, only to have his breath hitch. He could already feel his jeans tighten, the fact that he was already turned on growing evident with every passing second.
His eyes roamed over your body. He noticed that you had purposely shifted the sheets off your body so that he could see your exposed skin. The curve of your breasts, the smooth skin of your thighs with bruises littered on it and the marks on your neck were all calling him to devour you again.
With a shaky breath, Taehyung closed his eyes, trying to divert his mind away from your tactics.
"I have work tomorrow morning, you know that. And the fact that you live outside the city doesn't help at all." He voiced, putting on his shirt. You rolled your eyes and stood up, leaving the black cloth that was initially hiding your body from him. You had never been shy, not with your body. And especially with Taehyung, there was absolutely no need for you to hide anything. He was a friend. A friend who you called when you wanted to...wellâŠfriends with benefits would be the correct way to define your relationship.
You slipped your hands around his waist, kissing the back of his neck as he shuddered beneath your fingers. "Y/NâŠ" he warned, holding your hand in his and pulling you in front of him. The sight of your body made his mouth water. He had to remind himself that he had a very important meeting to attend and staying was not an option. He was the CEO of a big company, afterall.
Placing his hands on either side of your cheeks, he kissed your forehead.
"Get some sleep. Your paintings can wait for you and don't drink too much. Or I'll have to ban the winery from sending you any more bottles, got it?"
You lazily nodded your head with a mocking smile, knowing very well that Taehyung was just wasting his breath.
He shook his head in response, also aware that you weren't gonna listen to him anyway. He kissed your smiling lips before heading out, leaving you alone in your big old mansion-like house.
You watched him run to his car as he tried to cover his head with his hands, his white shirt already showing traces of his skin. The rain was heavy and it didn't look like it was gonna stop anytime soon.
Running your hands through your hair, you trudged towards the bathroom for a hot shower.
You had known Taehyung for 10 years now. You had met him during high school and he had stood by you through thick and thin. The sexual tension between the two of you became harder to hide when you two graduated and one thing led to another. Before you knew it, you were already having a very unhealthy relationship with a guy who was supposed to be your best friend. It didn't have to be unhealthy but it was.
Blame it on Taehyung's inability to hide his affectionate feelings towards you. But it was unhealthy. At least for you.
In an hour, you were sitting in your art room, which you had lovingly named 'Creative Arena' due to it's huge space. All kinds of paintings and sculptures covered it's wooden floors. But that was also the case with your entire house. Taehyung always joked about your house being a museum and how you should start holding exhibitions there.
Too bad. This was your personal haven.
Every painting spoke to you. Every sculpture held emotions that you desperately wanted to read. You loved being an art collector. You loved yourself.
Sipping your Pinot Noir, you placed the wine glass on the small coffee table before picking up your paint brush. You hummed in delight, knowing exactly what your next painting was gonna be. You drowned in the colours and forgot about the entire world until the sun rose and your eyes closed.
________________________________
You stared out at the darkness, leaning your head against the car window and relishing in the soft purr of the engine along with the rain. It ended up being a long exhibition, although according to you, there wasn't anything worth looking at. If it was up to you, you would have made sure that Mrs Marlowe never ever painted again. It annoyed you to listen to her rambling about how her art can help the world.
That woman didn't even know what primer she used.
A loud ringing echoed through the car as you glanced at your phone, Taehyung's boxy smile lighting up your screen. You swipe your finger across the screen to accept the call, your eyes closing as you placed the phone next to your ear.
"Hey." His deep voice filled your ears, your heart beating rhythmically as you found yourself relaxing. That was Taehyung for you. He was your salvation. He kept you from drowning away from reality.
"Hi. How was work?" You asked casually, glancing outside at the wet roads.
"Tiring as always. I attended three meetings nonstop. How about you? Marlowe, wasn't it? Was she good?"
You smiled smugly at his 'I-know-everything' tone. He always kept tabs on you.
"Stalker much?" You mocked, tilting your head, not like he could see you anyway. Taehyung chuckled on the other end. You could imagine his face at the moment. Sometimes, it surprises you that you hadn't fallen for him. Taehyung always took care of you like he was your boyfriend. But somewhere something stopped you from loving him like that. Unfortunately, you couldn't figure it out.
"Maybe. Will I be seeing you today?"
You looked down at the watch on your wrist.
7:56 PM
You had plenty of spare time. Blame it on the lack of inspiration for your art session but you wanted to enjoy life for a bit. It was Saturday the next day. Maybe you could just give yourself a break.
"Don't know but maybe. I'll-"
Suddenly, you jolted forward as your hands frantically held onto the backrest of the passenger seat in front of you, the phone slipping from your hands and falling down with a faint thud. Your eyes immediately shot up to see your driver, who was looking at you apologetically.
"I'm sorry, Miss Y/L/N. But something's wrong with the engine. I'll need some time to fix it." He stated, bowing his head as you huffed. With a shake of your head, you bent down to grab your phone and brought it back to your ear.
"Y/N?! Are you alright? Why aren't you sayi-"
"I'm okay, Tae. The car broke down. I don't know how long it'll take to get it started again." You said, hearing him sigh in relief. Your eyes fell on the small shop across the road, dim yellow lights illuminating the asphalt. It looked like a very old shop and you could make out the outlines of paintings inside it.
"Do you want me to come and get you?"
Curiosity got the best of you and you felt yourself being pulled to the shop. You just wanted to see. It was art, afterall.
"No. I'll wait it out. I'll tell you if I'm coming over. Don't bother." You replied, looking at your driver and nodding your head towards the shop. He understood and quickly got out of the car with an umbrella in his hand.
"Okay, then. Take care."
You hung up as the door to your side opened and you stepped out, scrunching your face when a few water droplets hit your face. You loved the rains, no doubt about that. But you didn't like them when you had to work outside. Petrichor was beyond pleasant but the humidity made you uncomfortable.
"I'll be in that shop. Let me know if you need help or something." You said to your driver, walking beside him as he held the umbrella above you. As soon as you stepped into the warmth of the cozy shop, you turned around and gestured your driver to take the umbrella with him. He worked for you and you respected that. He needed to be healthy and safe. With a small smile, he scurried away, leaving you to do whatever you want.
You clutched your phone tightly, looking around the small shop as your eyes sparkled at the many vibrant artworks that lay around. With a frown, you proceeded to explore around, running your fingers across all the canvases and trying to see which one you felt connected to. The emptiness of the store did make you feel creeped out but you were too distracted to act upon your uncomfortableness. The sound of rain buzzed in your ear as your eyes narrowed in concentration. You turned and stepped in another isle, glancing at the dim light which had started flickering.
This shop needs renovationâŠ
You thought and pursed your lips. Even though you knew that you were thinking too far, you couldn't help yourself. It was pretty hard for a small store which was hidden in the outskirts of the city to make a lot of money. Renovation was miles away.
As you continued to walk down the aisle, your steps faltered when your eyes fell on the painting resting against the wall at the far end. You couldn't tell what the painting was since it had a cloth draped over it but you were curious. Like always.
You tilted your head and slowly walked towards it, stretching your hand to hold the thin and dirty cloth.
Don't do it!
You frowned, wondering why something felt wrong. Your mind was constantly telling you to get out of the store. But why? You shook your head and pulled the cloth away in one swift pull of your hand.
Your mouth fell open as soon as your eyes met his.
The man in the painting.
He looked so...real.
His eyes held pride and his plump lips pulled into a small smile. The black base contrasted well with his attire and you just couldn't take your eyes off of it. Your eyes ran across the frame and you quickly moved closer on seeing some carvings on the metal.
Park Jimin
1995- 2017
You assumed this was the man in the painting. You failed to hide your shock on seeing the year of his death. He was too young.
But why was this painting here?
Why not with his family?
Too lost in your thoughts, you failed to notice the presence of another man who was now standing behind you. His eyes raked over your body as you continued to focus on the painting that had taken your breath away. His lips stretched into a knowing smirk as he leaned against a shelf, his arms crossed against his chest.
"I see you quite like the painting."
You flinched and turned around, your hand immediately going up to your chest. You stared at the man with wide eyes, cursing at him mentally.
"You scared me." You mumbled, closing your eyes and catching your breath. He let out a breathy laugh and held his hands up as if to defend himself.
"Didn't mean to. But can't really blame me. Not many people come here."
You moved your eyes up to his face, taking in his appearance. His black hair fell across his forehead and his heart shaped lips greeted you with a smile. You had met too many people to know that something was off about this guy. Actually, something was wrong with this whole place.
"Can't blame anyone else though. You chose to open here." You replied bluntly, not caring how arrogant you sounded. You had stopped giving a shit about other people's feelings a long time ago.
4 years ago, to be precise.
He tilted his head and narrowed his eyes with a mocking smile on his face.
"TouchĂš. So, about that paintingâŠ"
You glanced at the painting before looking back at him, knowing that he was only trying to sell it. And weirdly enough, you were absolutely ready to take it home. Even though it felt wrong.
"What about it?" You asked, crossing your arms.
"I'll give it to you for whatever you're willing to pay."
You immediately frowned. It was a perfectly good painting and you had already estimated it's price. Why was he ready to give it for anything less?
"Why would you do that?" You questioned, raising your eyebrows in disbelief. The lights flickered again for a few seconds before going back to normal. Also, the rain had stopped, you could tell by the sudden quietness that engulfed you.
"We don't get many folks here. Anything to make a living, I guess."
He rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the floor, embarrassed by his situation. You sighed in sympathy and turned around to look at Park Jimin. His eyes were boring into yours and you felt shivers running down your spine. No painting had ever affected you this much. Something was definitely different about this one and you needed to take it home.
"I'll take it for 1000 bucks."

Am I the only one who prefers angsty episodes to comedic ones? I feel evil but I'd rather have them battle major problems than this piya nonsense. Also (again evil me) I prefer DBO and IB times than this merger because as a shivika fan (I know kill me now, its almost a crime to like shivika over rikara) I thought they had good SLs when rikara weren't a factor. For eg, this piya track I would prefer to watch shivaay&annika deal alone rather than all 3, I'm sure rikara fans feel the same too(1)
I know you said shivika are preferred by cvs hence they get better SLs, but like I donât actually care. I watch this for entertainment and it comes from shivika be it writing or chemistry, its not in my place to feel bad for shrenal or rikara and force myself to like them because they are being ill-treated. So as someone who likes shivika, I preferred pre-merger eps, like the forced wedding angst, daksh angst, tia preg angst, mahi drama, pinky drama and finally separation + rekindling (2)
I said it before, rikara fans would be the same. Apologies if this came off rude, iâve folllowed you for a long time and while it has been disheartening to watch you convert to rikara and your lbs start preferring rikara and mildly getting annoyed by shivika (you are still amused by them but not as before and I think its due to the SLs), I know thatâs your choice, I had to rant somewhere. You donât have to answer this or publish this if you donât want to (3)
Hey anon,Â
I mean, sadomasochist that I am, I love angst too; but too much angst continuously gets very emotionally exhausting. I donât mind having these kinda ainvayiii ke filler plots every now to lighten up the show every few weeks. After the angst of the Rikara plot two weeks ago, this is a welcome respite with some much needed laughs. The only issue I have is how the TRANSITION between the plots is written, and it seems too abrupt when they switch from heavier plots to the lighter ones. IMO, they should have one or two episodes of transitional fluff, with the characters just bonding and talking about the stuff theyâve been through and couples romancing and shit (maybe a time lapse of a few days), so that thereâs a flow, and it doesnât seem so jarring and abrupt when the next plot starts.Â
At this point, idek what the CVs âpreferâ, with Gul being all âShivika alone doesnât give me numbersâ last week, whereas all this time, she was singing a whole other tune and focusing on Shivika. Who the fuck even knows how her and her croniesâ twisted minds come up with rationalizations for the constantly fluctuating TRPS, coz proper research, sensible writing, and actually listening to constructive criticism toh inke bas ke baahar hai.Â
As for the Shivika v/s Rikara stuff: thatâs just your preference, man. Liking one couple over the other doesnât isnât a MORAL judgement. This is just a trash tellywood show with no real world consequences, not a reflection on who you are as a person or anything. You donât have to justify it to anyone, or even yourself. You like what you like, and thatâs that.Â
But Iâd like that same courtesy and understanding extended to myself as well; coz this âconversion to/preferring Rikaraâ denunciation feels unfair to me. Iâve never claimed to be in one âcampâ of this show; Iâve always watched it as a sum of its parts. If I didnât watch DBO, itâs because I wasnât into its bizarre paranormal-cum-drama-on-steroids nature, not because I didnât like Om (whoâs been my favourite character from the start, as you would know since youâve been following me for a while now) or wasnât invested in his story. If I stuck through Shivaayâs horribleness during the forced wedding, then sure, I could have weathered Omâs character-massacre too, but DBO was just⊠too much for me.Â
I can only react and blog about what Iâm being shown in the show - and currently, this show is writing Shivika HORRIBLY. Shivaay ditching Anika ON THE NIGHT OF THEIR WEDDING and bringing in Tanya as his wife after allllllllll those vows and whatever theyâve been through???? Anika acting weird and clingy about losing Shivaay to âyoungerâ women (as if sheâs what, approaching menopause? Sheâs 30 at most!) one week when heâs never given her the reason to, doing nonsensical âtestsâ to see if he can be trusted, and the next morning she wakes up with the most unshakable amount of faith in him and telling him to go off on a boyâs trip? During the shaadi ke rituals/Tanya track, they were all over each other and Anika was the one initiating physical intimacy, and now suddenly sheâs back to âShivaaaaay, aap kyaaaa kar rahe hai???â when he so as much as just moves in her direction? Not only are they being written completely ILLOGICALLY, theyâre also now being written as a old married couple with no chemistry or heat whatsoever, ala Pinky/Shakti. How am I supposed to fangirl over this? Â
Look, Iâm just another viewer like the rest of you, albeit with a slightly more popular platform than your own blog perhaps. But this platform became âpopularâ BECAUSE Iâve always been true to myself and expressed my views about what Iâm watching HONESTLY. Iâve fangirled when I felt like it, and called out the shit when Iâve seen it. And I will continue to. Thatâs the point of this blog; for me to air MY views. And a person is allowed to change their views and opinions. I was not impressed by Gauri at first, and now I love her beyond bits. I used to not like Bhavya, but now I like her. Kal ko, if they start writing RuVya properly (hahahahahaha donât hold your breath for this)Â and I like those scenes, then Iâll express that too! Whatâs this expectation people have of me to be the flagbearer of one fandom over the other (that too, irrespective of the material)? Iâve never claimed to be in any camp, nor have I ever said that Iâll be a completely impartial viewer who will give each couple exactly 33.33% of my love. This blog is just me talking out my ass about how *I* feel on any given day about these characters, and like my mood, itâs subject to lots of internal/external factors; itâs not always going to remain stagnant. Plus, If every single one of this blogâs followers expected me to feel the way THEY felt, and held me to those standards, mera toh jeena kaafi mushkil ho jaana hai, and thatâs super unreasonable and unfair to me.Â
Toh please, just watch this show and take my mindless rambling w.r.t, with the most halkaaa amount of regard and consideration. At the end of the day, all of this means nothing. Jinko is sab se paisa banaana hai, woh toh banaakar chal diye, hum yahan pe kyun sar khapaate rahein? Yeh toh wohi baat hui, âkhaaya peeya kuch nahi, glass toda baraah anna.â đđđ
