The Spot reminded me of the Nothing in terms of aesthetics. Not personality and story tho, he's much sillier and much more human

Ability wise, I actually based Evelyn and Vynathr's (but mostly Evelyn's) portal powers after him in the comics! So i was delighted to see that

Evelyn owns a small comfy cafe focused mostly on fresh baked goods and coffee and she and all of her workers are the kind of people to see you're having a hard time and "forget" to ring up half of your order and give you a free lollipop. She married rich and pays her workers well, they can all afford to be kind and she actively seeks that in her "workers", who are primarily close friends and some people she felt bad for and decided to offer a job.

Spades has been on this planet for a long time, and experienced many things. He's been homeless, he's been the peak of extravagance and splendor. He's been hurt, he's rested, he's seen the scum of the world and the kindest most innocent souls, and through this all he's come to certain understandings.

For all that sea kei are inclined to hate the cold or bright lights, for all he hates this planet, there is something to be said for this. Sitting with his wife, leaning against her with his head resting against hers, her warm hand in his chillier one, the lights wrapped around the tree before them glowing softly. She scrolled on her phone, seemingly unaware of his bliss, but his gentle purring brought a soft curve of a smile to her lips.

"Love you." Evelyn murmured. The purring grew louder, and Spades squeezed her hand.
