Handmade Love - Jade Leech X Reader

With this post, I am officially back from my wedding and honeymoon with my ex-girlfriend now my wife The Miss. I hope I can bring you guys more updates and I apologise for the break. I was a bit unsure whether to return in this time period but The Miss ensured me everything will be fine. Thank you for everyone’s support. 

Additionally, with this post, it is a gift to my wonderful child @takuyakistall. Happy Birthday my child. The Miss and I love you very much and we are a proud Papa and Mama of everything [except some questionable cursed posts] that you do. 

Also, this is only half of your present, which you will spend with Jade. The other half shall be spent with Mr. Itaru Chigasaki ;) 

Jade Leech was at a loss for what he could get you for your birthday. The man rarely gets stuck on things like this.

He racked his brain for ideas. Anything that he bought wouldn’t interest you since they were past presents…

“What about something handmade?” His twin, Floyd suggested.

“Handmade?”

“Like a card… or a poem or origami!” He smiled, holding some poor student who didn’t fulfil his contract down.

“..Yeah thanks for the idea Floyd,”  Jade said, averting his eyes away from the tortured student. Jade left, the student screaming at his departure. Hah. As if he’d go against Azul.

Handmade? What could he possibly make that was handmade? There was one possible person to ask…

“Handmade? Well, my expertise is my special cosmetics,” Vil replied to Jade’s question.

“A romantic poem perhaps! You read a lot Monsieur Mastermind. You can pull a few lines,” Rook added in as he aims for the target with his dart.

That’s it. He’ll write something special.

He wracked his brain, sitting at his usual Lounge table with papers and a pen instead of his usual book. “Whatever could I write about her?”

“About who?”

He jumped, flinging the papers around. The shock jolted his whole body away from the person.

“Oh YN…” His heart calmed after seeing you. “You scared me for a bit.”

You smiled. “What were you writing about anyway?”

What was he supposed to reply? ‘Oh I was writing about you-’

No. That’s way too embarrassing.

You caught the closest paper near you, reading the title. “ 'An Ode To YN, My Pearl’…” You mumbled.

“Please stop reading!” He bowed, snatching the paper away. “You weren’t supposed to see it yet…” The heat crept to his face, Jade internally wanting to hide in his collar.

He explained, “I couldn’t figure out a birthday present for you.”

“Why does that matter?” You said, sitting next to him. You let him place his head on your shoulder, leaning into him. “Hey, as long as we’re together and doing something fun, you don’t need to give me the world,” You told him, smiling at him once again. “Even no present is fine… because we’re together anyway.”

“Right. Thank you YN… Happy Birthday, me Pearl.” Jade kissed your cheek, and the two of you unknowingly fell asleep together.

Safe to say, Floyd kinda ruined the moment by taking a lot unwanted, albeit romantic pictures of the two of you and sharing it to Magicam.
