Base: activity in Mainnet. Free NFTs on Base.

Base is a secure, inexpensive and user-friendly tool for Ethereum L2 developers that was created to attract users to web3. It’s worth mentioning that Base is built as an MIT OP Stack in collaboration with Optimism. And as stated by the Base team, they specifically joined Core Dev working on the OP Stack to make it publicly available to everyone.

According to the developers, Base is the easiest way for decentralized applications to use the products and distribution of Coinbase, which has over 110 million users with over $80 billion in assets in the Coinbase ecosystem, thereby once again putting an emphasis on scalability.

For almost six months, there has been a testnet. Activity in which was steadily covered in our airdrops section, and recently the project team announced the launch of Mainnet.

Preparation

To interact with the network, you will need to add it to our wallet. If you have already done this, you can skip this point.

There have been no official announcements about this or that prize pool in dollar equivalent. At the time of writing, the only confirmed rewards are merch. FAQ

If many people will use the bot, wouldn’t dilution of profits occur?

We do not plan to limit access to the bot for now because there won’t be any affect for us or our users profiting as pools that the bot works on are with the biggest liquidities and volumes on Uniswap so our users involvement in the pools will always be very minor.

What average ROI can I expect?

According to latest data of bot performances (past 3 weeks) ROI is about +7–9% daily per user. Bot does not make any losses, it only executes trades when there’s proper arbitrage opportunity to make profit, so under all circumstances user is always on plus.

What amount of funds bot need to work?

We recommend funding the contract with at least 0.5-1 ETH to cover gas fees and possible burn fees. Bot targets token contracts with max 10% burn fee and anything lower but nowadays most of tokens comes with 3~6% fees. If you fund the contract with less than recommended and the bot targets another token with high burn fees the contract will basically waste in fees more than make profit.

Does it work on other chains or DEXes as well?

No, currently the bot is dedicated only for Ethereum on Uniswap pools.

Psst. Do you like white mochas? Do you not want to give Starbucks money right now because they're a bunch of union busting assholes? 'Cause I got something special just for you.

I have reverse engineered the ingredient list I remember off their white mocha bottles from when I worked there, and made it about ten times better, and it is mad easy to make at home.

YOU'RE GONNA WANT:

A bar of good quality white chocolate; Ghirardelli's baking bars are fantastic for this. Look for something that's mostly cocoa butter.

About 3-4 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk

About a tablespoon of heavy cream

About a tablespoon of boiling water

A dash of salt

Break the white chocolate up and put it into a small microwave-safe container. Microwave it on high for 30 second intervals, stirring between each one, until it's good and melted.

Drop 3 or 4 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk in there. It's not an exact measurement because let's be honest, that stuff's hard to measure.

Start mixing.

It will immediately seize into a solid mass and you'll think I'm fucking with you after all. This is normal. Add a dash of salt to taste. I'm a two-dash kinda person myself, because it counters how much sugar is in it. Which is a lot.

And boom. That's it. You now have white mocha sauce comparable to any coffee chain's brand except actually it's way better. Store it covered in the fridge, it'll keep a while but it's probably best to use it within the week since it's got fresh dairy ingredients.

Can it be made vegan? Probably but you'd have to find white chocolate with no dairy additives to start with, and then sweetened condensed non-dairy milk if that exists, and probably use coconut cream, and I dunno I haven't tried at all so you're on your own for that if you want to experiment.

Feminist spaces are currently pretty hostile to men, particularly those who want to talk about what they face under patriarchy, and who want to participate without being pressured to self-flagellate or allow themselves to be a target for other people's unrelated frustrations.

Oh, there it is. There's why I hate it so much when someone's like "all men are dogs" or whatever right to my face, and even more angry when they say, "shut up and don't argue with me because you should know I don't mean you, but you're being part of the problem now."

If they so obviously don't mean to include me, are they saying then that I'm not a man? I'll fucking fight. And it is NEVER, EVER "part of the problem" for a trans person to deny someone the ability to talk shit about them on the basis of their gender.

It's not my job to be a punching bag for shit I didn't do. There's certainly things I'll accept that I've been complicit in, even if it was through ignorance. That, however, is not one of them.

Kripto piyasası için inişli çıkışlı bir günde, son vakitlerde spot ışıklarının altında olan altcoin Arbitrum (ARB) değerli fiyat hareketlerine şahit oldu. İki büyük balina süreci ve tüm vakitlerin en düşük düzeyi, trader ve yatırımcıların ilgisini çekti. Bu kayda bedel transfer faaliyetinin gerisinde iki değerli balina yer aldı. Dev balina adresi 0xe97, Binance’e hatırı sayılır ölçüde 3,8 milyon ARB tokenı aktararak varlığını hissettirdi. Bu büyük hareket, ARB başına ortalama 0,86 dolarlık fiyatla gerçekleşti. Bu süreç tek başına büyük ilgi çekerken, Vladilena2.eth olarak bilinen öbür bir balina da çok geride kalmadı. Yalnızca bir saat evvel Vladilena2.eth, Binance’e 3,64 milyon ARB token gönderdi ve bu süreci token başına ortalama 0,84 dolarlık fiyattan gerçekleştirdi.Ayrıca Lookonchain, dev bir balinanın bugün Binance’te yaklaşık 1,3 milyon dolarlık ziyanla ETH karşılığında 3,8 milyon ARB (yaklaşık 3,21 milyon dolar) boşalttığını gözlemledi. Balina, 4 Nisan ve 5 Nisan tarihlerinde Binance’ten ortalama 1,19 dolarlık para çekme fiyatıyla 17,62 milyon ARB (21 milyon dolar) çekti. How would I grow Week in Ethereum

In my post on Optimism's RPGF round (which ended today, but doesn't give us results for 35 days?!?!?!?!?!), I wrote

...the nature of opensource is that there are plenty of people who could create businesses but are just horrible entrepreneurs (ie, they don’t actually make something people want and they don’t know how to fnd out what people want by actually charging them for it). Ouch, muh newsletter is free.

Oof, maybe this is why I quit writing. After publishing this, I can't stop thinking about it.

Things I could do or could've done in past with Week in Ethereum:

Make it paid via a paywall. I'm very confident that this would be the most profitable strategy, it just doesn't feel like the best thing for Ethereum? There is a class of devs and technically-minded investors who love it and would pay for it. The profit maximizing price would be high, but no new dev would ever be willing to pay it.

Week in Sqlunavax. Of course I had the offers, but chains need to meet a bare minimum. I'm less of a maximalist and more open to this for legit chains then people think (as I've said consistently for years) but the tech needs to be good.

Week in [Eth L2]. I'd have to go find people to train and manage plus sell. But the fact that none of the rollups have ever approached me is a bit of a signal, no? I feel like I've been one of the bigger public boosters of rollups, but none have ever expressed interest.

Paid supplemental newsletter. Arguably should do this, but never have. No great reason why; I think mainly I believe in open source value creation?

Paid audio version. I can read headlines to you, people probably pay enough for it to be worthwhile because some people are audio maximalists, but never quite seemed worth it.

Fix the "why didn't you see my post" problem. Done well, this could maybe become a massive business if it evolves to be the Eth community online - which seems very doable in my head. I don't have a great reason for why I don't do this. I briefly contemplated raising money for this last bear market. It seems smart and yet I've never been quite sure enough this is the problem I want to tackle with my life. Also right when I was about to get on this horse last bear market, there was briefly an Eth forum. It didn't last...but I wasn't sure I could compete.

I've had offers to invest in the past, but what vision was I pitching?

Aside: I often tell entrepreneurs who pitch me that they shouldn't raise. Because if they do, they'll get forced into a token that doesn't make sense. Build your business, make it profitable. Only do a token if it makes sense. Never put a bad investor on your cap table, which in crypto mainly means don't raise.

I guess that's why I find RPGF interesting. But it's also basically democracy...and the history of democracy ain't great, even if there's no better alternative.
