a different anon here... 119 for afohiko? 😳👉🏻👈🏻
… That’s four afohiko prompts for three nanahiko prompts. Congratulations to the anons for combining forces to outnumber @thisauthorisscreaming’s, gyahaha. I got a little off-track, though. It’s more of a plotty AU bit than lemon. ; m;
119. "Greedy doesn't begin to describe me." | afohiko, in an AU where the fae (yousei/yōsei) exist just a step to the left of the canon world. Sorahiko is the Lord of the Yamanashi Yousei; AFO, finding his brother dead and the 'culprits' gone, nearly tears his network apart trying to find a solution. He also ends up usurping and marrying Sorahiko. \o/ | wc: ~780

“What more do you want?” Torino demands, acidly. The Lord of the Yamanashi Yousei kneels before Hisashi, having been dethroned and tricked out of his castle, but he still possesses dignity and that grounded, sober personality that marked him so differently from the other yousei Hisashi sought to revive his brother. It itches at Hisashi to see Torino without the trappings of his earlier finery.
Hisashi observes Torino’s growing ire without comment. The world is not yet in the palm of his hand; he had to pause the cultivation of his network after losing Yoichi, and knowing now that there is a third dimension to master - Hisashi finds himself in need of a guide.
“You have my home,” seethes the silver-haired yousei. “You have command of my lands. What else?”
“Hm,” he hums. “Where would Torino-kun go in his exile?” Torino bares his teeth in a fierce scowl, but the daggers of his glare are hardly anything to Hisashi, who moves on without giving Torino space to answer. “I saw no one else who bore your favor, Torino-kun. It makes me think that you have neither ally nor lover.”
Torino twitches. His snarl falters. “... Speak clearly.”
“You are my benefactor,” Hisashi says, modest. “I have been your only human supplicant in recent history. And now our roles are reversed.”
“I haven’t asked anything of you.”
He needs to tread carefully here. Torino is, as Hisashi’s discovered, flighty in the face of seduction. It’s how Hisashi tricked him into surrendering his seat, after Yoichi had gasped back to life and, so dazed, didn’t denounce his older brother to the (flatteringly) smitten yousei Lord.
Slow and deliberate, Hisashi rises from the throne. They are the only two individuals occupying the ground floor of the central residence; Yoichi is recovering in an upper level, guarded by one of Hisashi’s loyalists.
It’s much nicer than a vault. Yoichi had better appreciate it.
Torino narrows his pale brown eyes at the approach, but he doesn’t flinch away. He doesn’t even rear back as Hisashi steps in front of him, though his head tilts up to maintain eye contact. Hisashi provides a helping hand, holding Torino by the chin with his thumb and pointer finger.
“Would you tell me your name?”
Torino’s eyes widen at the brazen request.
“Would you consent to remain here?” he presses. “We are something akin to equals, you and I, but the roles we play do not instill us with the knowledge necessary to perform. Educate me on the Yousei Court, and I will gladly reciprocate.”
“... How?” the yousei asks, almost soundlessly.
“Marry me.”
A startled bark of laughter escapes Torino. “If you believe marriage is of equal value to lessons on how to navigate your new domain, then I shudder to think how you’ll treat my - your subjects. For all your pretty words, Shigaraki-dono, you cannot reconcile your culture with mine.”
“I’m capable of adapting,” says All for One. “Say yes, Torino-kun.”
“A human doesn’t outlive a yousei.”
“They tend not to survive outmaneuvering them, either. But look at us! Look at me.” Torino complies. Hisashi restrains himself from smiling too widely, but chances a light brush of his thumb against Torino’s mouth, finding delight in how it gives way at the slight pressure.
“You,” says Torino, then hesitates.
“No tricks, no contracts. No dealing on the side. I want you beside me, because together, my dear, we could take the world by storm.”
“The world,” he echoes. Torino lapses into silence for a few seconds; Hisashi whiles away the time by memorizing the feel of the yousei’s skin against his hand. He smooths his palm against Torino’s clean-shaven cheek, sliding it up from where it had cradled the square jaw. Torino shudders back into awareness and says, almost stunned, “It was just supposed to be about your brother.”
Hisashi’s eyebrows lift.
“First you wanted your brother back. Then you wanted my seat in the Yousei Court. Now you want me,” says Torino, “as some kind of bonus before taking on the world. Have you always been this greedy?”
“Greedy doesn’t begin to describe me,” Hisashi promises. He drops to a kneel in one smooth motion, and Torino watches with a conflicted expression. “Will you have me ask you again? Or shall I prove my desire for you?”
A sharp inhale. The slow creep of a blush. Torino tries to hold eye contact, but his gaze flickers to the side and back, again and again.
“Marry me, Torino-kun,” he says, and leans in, slow and deliberate, telegraphing his intention to kiss and feeling gratified at how Torino stutters, stiffens at the first slide of Hisashi’s mouth to his, and finally, finally groans, “Yes.”
