some people think the awkwardness of how difficult espio’s horn makes it for him to kiss is unromantic, but i honestly can’t imagine anything more romantic than espio telling silver it’s impossible for him to kiss anyone due to his horn, so silver, determined as ever, grabs espio’s face with both hands and gently and contemplatively tilts it to the side, then thoughtfully tilts his own the opposite direction, then slowly leans closer until their lips are inches away from each other then stops, and softly says “see? it isn’t impossible.”

This is my entry for the Sonic-Boom-HUB contest. One of the journal can be found here: sonic-boom-hub.deviantart.com/… come and join. contests are fun~! -- My favorite part of this entry is the story, drawing the story and the shading, I really love to shade my pictures.

The part that I found to be the hardest or the most time consuming was actually coloring in the pictures. Don't get me wrong I like coloring and picking different colors to use but it does take some time to color. --

Here’s a Chaotix amusement park headcanon that no one asked for.

Vector’s first trip to the amusement park with Espio and Charmy was quite the experience. Because between a hyperactive toddler that could fly and a quiet, 12 year old ninja who could turn invisible, the teen croc had his hands full.

Between the two, Charmy was the bigger thrill seeker. Those cute flying car rides? Laaaaaame. But too bad he wasn’t allowed on the roller coasters yet.

"Vector, lemme off! I faster!"

Vector had to strap him extra tight into the seat and bribe him with dessert to ensure he won't just slip out and try to out-fly the ride until he got dizzy.

Of course there were consequences to letting Charmy eat funnel cake. Long story short, Vector was very grateful that he’d had the foresight to get a child leash. But what he hadn’t expected was to come out of Dippin’ Dots and find that Charmy decided to zip towards the top of a castle - Espio tried to stop him, only to get dragged into the air himself.

Speaking of which, Espio had never seen a theme park before and wasn’t used to machines that weren’t Eggman’s mechs. It took a lot of gentle coaxing and reassuring from Vector until he finally gave it a try.

Vector didn’t know what was funnier: the death stare the little chameleon aimed at these driverless cars or the shock and awe on his face when the car rose in the air and slowly glided forward, then moved up and down in gentle waves. Either way, it was priceless.

That is, until Vector remembered that ninjas were good at getting out of restraints, or in this case, the ride’s seat belts.

Vector: "Espio! Get yer ass back in the car or they’ll stop the ride! No, get your tail outta- that’s not a tree, dammit!”

Charmy: "Espio! Go spinny leaf! Make it fly, fly!”

That said once Espio got the hang of it, the dynamic changed very quickly. At one point, Vector couldn't find him and after a few minutes of searching and having a heart attack, there he was strolling out of the exit of another ride. He'd managed to sneak in by turning invisible and skipping ahead of the line. Vector was too impressed to stay mad at him for running off and leaving him alone with the little terror.

The rest of their time was spent together at the water park, which all of them enjoyed the most. The water slides and river rapids were a blast. Charmy’s animated chatter and giggling as he and Espio splashed each other, both of them tag teaming Vector after getting dunked by him, Espio taking Marco Polo to another level, and so on.

All of them were beyond tuckered out when they finally got home. Putting Charmy to bed didn’t take much effort at all. Espio passed out the second his head hit the pillow. Vector watched them sleeping so peacefully, wondering how these were the same boys who’d ran him ragged more than once today. Regardless, they’d still had a great time and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

I have a Sonic and a Knuckles plushy and they are the perfect size to have them wear friendship bracelets on their heads like a flower crown. Knuckles' bracelet hat has stripes going from red to yellow to green. Sonic's is purple, pink, and black. I also have a plastic Tails toy that wears an orange butterfly bracelet as a necklace.

Awwww, that is so adorable!! I actually have a few Sonic Character plushies; I have the Shadow and Knuckles backpacks, the Shadow and Knuckles Squishmallows, and my little brother managed to get me the Build-A-Bears Knuckles which I LOVE. You might've noticed a pattern with the plushies...>w> I am currently trying to find Espio now...I need my Chameleon Ninja QwQ I am also keeping an eye out on Build-A-Bear to see if they'll release a Shadow for the new movie cause I must snatch him if they do...not having a repeat of missing Knuckles TWICE. I also have a small figure or Knuckles from the movies and an old Knuckles figure from way back when. That ones been with me since I was like...geeze 10? I love him so much tho.

BTW Espio being as knife thrower was an idea given to me by one of my irl friends, since I showed them my last drawings.

Also you know how theres an animal act ok but what if there was a Chao act instead and Cream was in-charge of it.

Also that same friend pointed out to me that there was a comic that had a Circus theme. Right after I was already done with my first drawings. Found it funny that knuckles was a clown

Also apparently there was some mini comics of Tails as a magician which i found funny bc I have yet to draw him and I didn't know if i wanted him to be a magician seeing as he's all about science I wasn't sure on magician then again it is all about tricking the mind (guess ill have to draw him next)

I related Soooo much to silver. And espilver is my comfort ship. And you know what else I like a lot, macarons. Would espilver eat them 🥺👉👈

Oh wow, you ship them too? lol Anyway, yes, I like the idea of them traveling the world when they can (thanks to the Bumblekast mini where it's mentioned these two would probably like to go around the world) and having different types of food at the places they visit. In my head (and heart) food is a very important thing to them, to Silver because it reminds him of good times with people and to Espio because he sees cooking as an art. This is all based on their cookbook dialogues of course.
