when the entire hallmark of agatha's acquisition of power is that she steals the power from other people - in a way it's fairly clear she doesn't necessarily always have control over! - and leaves them dead as a result.

bc there is so much here!!! agatha can only take other people's power if they direct their magic at her first - so can you imagine the trust here between her and rio, even now, that rio's not using her magic on agatha in a way where agatha might not be able to stop herself and wind up killing herself??
