so used to american podcast that i gaslit myself into thinking i was imagining 'the wrong station' having canadian references
#the amnt of times french people have been mentioned#the amnt of provinces and cities that have been mentioned.. rivers and forests too#also occasionally a character will just be so intensely Canadian lmao it's funny#the wrong station#i remember watching turning red with my roommates and we were constantly like: OMG THEY'RE USING CANADIAN MONEY. OMG TORONTO. OMG#canadian media jumpscare#like canadian media definitely exists but broadly canada and us don't have many differences so i see a media and automatically assume#that it's set in the us#especially if i see mfers with shoes on in the house all the time that's 100% not real i will not believe it
