Wondering what your thoughts about the instagram gossip blog Deuxmoi are? For over a year now I’ve noticed overwhelmingly positive MM coverage (that usually accompanies a papwalk or restaurant sighting), so I always kind of suspected some kind of agreement or financial situation, but it was subtle enough that I didn’t really mention it to anyone. Well, this weekend Deuxmoi found themselves in a bit of a situation when they posted a “sighting” of Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce at a restaurant Friday night. The post was entitled “boys night” and went on imply that Travis was partying with Leo DiCaprio, Tristan Thompson (father of Khloe Kardashian kids) and unidentified young women, and they all left late. It actually seems that Travis had a quiet dinner with a friend, other celebs happened to be dining at the same time, and they may have interacted but barely. Kelce then attended a teammate’s wedding the following night, and was back in Ireland the next night (Sunday) to watch the Taylor concert. Deuxmoi is getting trashed for this clickbait post and caption, and more than a few people have accused Deuxmoi of actually being on the Kris Jenner (Kardashian) payroll…hoping to try and stir up Taylor drama because of the Kimye feud. I found this SUPER interesting considering Kris was one of the lucky (/s) few jam recipients…

I've said it here before, I'll say it again, and I'll keep saying it till I'm blue in the face:

All of the blind gossip sites - Deuxmoi, TLF, CDAN, Enty, SMG, and Blind Gossip - are trash. They are entertainment sites. They are not factual news or accurate. They might have one or two pieces of legit gossip, but by and large they've become a tool through which PR people can manage their celebrities' reputations and public perceptions.

The girls behind Deuxmoi (not the original Deuxmoi founder, but the ones who bought the account and started merching the shit out of it) went on the record in 2021 saying they make stuff up for their account all the time and that they're more of a tool for PR people now than ordinary passersby on the street (like when it was with the original founder at the controls). You can't take *anything* they say seriously after those admissions.

Deuxmoi and Taylor Swift in particular. It's been alleged that Deuxmoi's insistence that Taylor and Travis were having a baby last fall - to the point that Tree Paine was threatening legal action - and a certain kind of Swifties falling for it inspired the "I'm having his baby/No I'm not/you should see your faces" verse.

Stop thinking the blind gossip sites are real. They're entertainment. They're not entertainment news; it's just entertainment.
