For context, I am covered in tattoos and my septum is pierced. I work at a medical clinic. Today a woman (who is unwell, and this is in no way slander against her) would not come into the waiting room because “the lesbian with the nose ring” might think she’s a lesbian too. And then proceeded to pull out a bag of what she deemed “holy salt” out of her bag (again, very unwell) and started eating it by the handful, to ward me off. Anyway… I thought it was funny, but her physician did not.
