Absalom: I don't . . . I don't know what to do with that information Kan. I'm Loyal to Elucea, she's my person! But . . .

Kanaloa: But . . . ?

Absalom: *sighs* I think I'm growing close to you too. I wouldn't go so far as to say we're Bonded like both of us with El, but there's definitely a bond between us. I've felt it ever since Evergreen too. I thought it was just because we were becoming friends. It just seems odd to act on it.

Kanaloa: Why? Because we're both men?

Absalom: You know I don't give a damn about that! But we're with El! I plan on marrying her! Wouldn't us being together complicate us being with her?

Kanaloa: No, I don't think so anyway. We're already a pretty solid unit with the family stuff and on a romance level we all fit in my opinion, all of us being romantic with each other could only strengthen the Bonds between us, maybe the Fates would form a Tether between you and I. Just think about it, I won't push. I find you Very Attractive, I like our banter and spending time with you, we can make this work.

Kanaloa: Nothing just enjoying the day with you

Elucea: Don't lie Kan.

Kanaloa: It's nothing important OK? Let's not let it ruin our time together.

Elucea: A little late for that. Your thoughts are loud and clear as if you're speaking. Our bond was pink and then it went red so of course I started listening in, I just wanted to see if you would actually tell me what you were thinking. Is that all you care about?

Kanaloa: No El, it's just . . .

It took a bit of finagling to get everyone together (and make sure they wore the outfits Elucea wanted them to wear and be sure the infants stayed clean - no green clouds in photos please) But Elucea finally got her first family photo and she's beyond excited to FINALLY have one after never having any before her generation began (because well Daolong. Need I say more?)

Absalom: It seems so much longer, I know. She needs patience and we need to find a way to get her to talk to SOMEONE if it's not us. She's not as OK as she lets on. She thinks she's hiding it well but she's not.

Kanaloa: She thinks we're going to leave her. She said so on our date, that she assumed the two of us would get tired of her and sever the bonds. I can't and even if I could I don't want to, I may have forged it myself but I made it so that I can't break it, that she would have to make that decision.

Absalom: Like a Vamp bond.

Kanaloa: I guess. I've never wanted to and I don't want her to but if she's not happy . . .

Absalom: She will be, we just need to give her some more time and space.

Absalom: When are you going to let us in Wolf? I should be in there with her!

Kristopher: I can't. I'm sorry. The Sixians are doing everything they can just to keep her under without actual sedation to protect her and the babies. And themselves. She attacked the surgeons before they could take control of her mind, one of them had their shoulder impaled by her horns. We don't need to add more strain on them with your emotions.

Kanaloa *looking through the window*: It doesn't seem like she's still in her Mer form.

Kristopher: One of the surgeons was able to force her into her human form once they were inside her mind, lessening the danger she posed to them or herself if she were to slip their control before they were done with the surgery to bring her children into the world. It's a lot easier to hold down a pair of human legs than it is a Mer's tail. Now, the first set of Twins are safely out. They were Breech, if not she would have given birth just fine naturally.

Absalom: First set? How is that possible?

Kristopher: Yes. Elucea has two uteri, medically called uterus didelphys. Both uteri held a set of twins. Did you not notice she had two openings?

Absalom: Of course I noticed! Kanaloa: Of course I noticed!

Absalom: I assumed it had something to do with her being more shark than mammal

Kanaloa: And I have two dicks so just made sense. Thought hers connected to one womb as normal for us.

Absalom: *looking at Kana incredulously* TWO?! How the WOOHOCK do I compete with that?!

Kanaloa: Deep sea mermaid, same as El *flashing his shark teeth* think Megalodon. *shrugs* But she kept going back to you so you must be doing something right

Elucea walks around to where Absalom is sitting.

Elucea: Sorry I should have followed Kan back in but I was enjoying the views of the city.

Absalom: No worries Love, didn't think you'd get far. Your father is performing one of his comedy routines upstairs, you coming?

Elucea: Just let me get my drink and I'll be right up.

Absalom: Alright, I'll save you a spot.

Absalom starts walking towards the stairs when the bartender comes over with Elucea's drink order

Bartender: Here's your -

Elucea: My wine! Fabulous!

Elucea watches Absalom make his way upstairs before she sips from her glass

Kanaloa jumps up from the table. He pulls Absalom from his chair and plants a kiss on his lips. Before Absalom can fully process what's happening, Elucea comes out of the nursery, Finnbri and Faelyn in tow.

Elucea: Am I . . . interrupting something?

The trio makes it to the Lucky Horseshoe Bar and El instantly runs for the mechanical bull

Elucea: Oh my Watcher! I thought these were extinct! Only to be found in the old Sims 3 Files!

Absalom: It's the functional mechbull mod by Cepzid *laughs* so if it weren't for modders it would be.

Absalom stays to watch for the entertainment factor, definitely not seeing if Elucea will have a wardrobe malfunction. When the bull has turned off, El sets herself up to back flip off the machine

Absalom: Please be careful El, the bull didn't throw you so don't fall and break something now

Kanaloa: What time is it?

Elucea: It's almost midnight

Kanaloa: Shit . . . I must've passed right out. I put the babies in the playpen at nine-thirty. Are they OK?

Elucea: Yeah, they're fine, asleep at the moment.

Kanaloa: El, I'm sorry I -

Elucea: Kan stop

Kanaloa: No, Elucea, please I need to get this out. I'm sorry for today, I'm sorry that I upset you with my thoughts and I should have had a better handle on them. I'm sorry that I feel this way and I guess I don't really have the right to, Abs set me straight on that. I know things won't actually ever be the same as a year ago between us but . . . like I told Abs I feel like we're just hired hands, that you only . . . you only have us around because you think you have to. I know I shouldn't have hoped for what we had almost a millennium ago between us, it was too easy a thought once you accepted what you are but the life you've been living obviously didn't just go away, I don't know why I thought you would go back to being the El from then, the El I stole. Back then you already went through the worst thing that could have happened to you, we had all the time in the world with no real responsibilities . . . but here . . . . . . Everything is different here, in the living world . . . you're different, and now we have the school to look after and you have the farm you wanted, I hate to admit I thought I could wear you down eventually to live in the Underworld with me but now I know that's never going to happen.

Elucea: Do you want me to -

Kanaloa: No, that's not why I'm saying it, I think the light you have would die if we went there . . . and I already can't stomach how . . . dim it has become. I also never thought that kids were in our future either, I know we wanted them and the only way was for you to be alive so we went about having you reborn, but after . . . After I lost . . . Milu . . . I don't think I truly wanted another, afraid that something similar was going to happen, and now I have four and . . .

Kanaloa: I know you did and it's alright, and you don't have to do anything to make up for it. Though I'm not going to say no to you making breakfast. We just have to figure out how to navigate these rough waters together is all.

Elucea: What rough waters?

Kanaloa: Parenting, working on our relationship, communicating. I love you Elucea and I can't picture myself doing any of this with anyone else.

Elucea pulls him closer for a kiss

Elucea: I love you Kanaloa. I don't want to sail with anyone else either. Let's get some sleep.

Absalom: Come now, dry those tears. As you said the paparazzi are here and their woohocking vultures, they'll somehow spin the narrative.

Kanaloa: What's going on? What did you do Abs?

Absalom: I didn't do anything. El is -

Elucea: I just really enjoyed my gift! The chocolate just brought a huge emotional wave. I might be PMSing. I'm sorry

Absalom: Elucea . . .

Elucea kisses Absalom before he can say anything more.

Kanaloa: I brought you a gift too

Absalom: See? I told you this was a good idea!

Kanaloa: It was my idea! But you're right, she's practically glowing.

Absalom: And that's why it was a good idea, your head is full of those! Though you are oblivious, she ALWAYS glows!

The two of them laugh together and Elucea can't help the giant smile spreading across her face at the sight. She wonders when -if ever- the two of them are going to admit to being in love with each other? Their feelings are clearly obvious for anyone to see that she's sure people already think that they're together romantically.

It's a happy moment between the two of them but a dark thought does briefly cross her mind: Would they toss her aside and turn their throuple into just a couple if they did admit their feelings? Bond or no Bond she worries they would leave and take the school with them. They've already denied this many times and Hypnos has told her it's just her brain fighting her happiness. That she's so hard-wired to believe she doesn't deserve a single shred of the emotion, that she hasn't earned it, and so she's constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop to dash away anything good that she has in her life.

She manages to push these thoughts away before she can't control her emotions pushing pass the slight shield she still has in place. For the most part the three of them have been slowly removing these shields between them, letting everything or almost everything, slowly flow between them. It even seems like Abs and Kan can tell what's going on in each other's head at times. But there's still some things she can't let out, that she's not ready to let them know. Show how broken she still is on the inside.

Kanaloa pulls Elucea in for a kiss the moment he walks into the living room where she's waiting in front of the mirror

Kanaloa: Wow El! I didn't get a good look with cucumbers over my eyes, you look amazing. Where's boss man? Complaining about me taking too long and he's not even out here.

Elucea: Did you match me on purpose?

Kanaloa: I thought you left this out for me

Absalom: I matched the two of you. I wanted my partners to look good together. And I would have been ready sooner if I didn't have to clean up the mess your son made while I was changing him.

Kanaloa: What happened to him being OUR son?

Absalom: He's your son after a mess like that. I'll let Nitäl know we're leaving and tell him to get his ass up here. I'll meet you in the loading screen.

Where is everyone? Am I the first one ready? Or did I take too long they left without me? And where's Nitäl?

At that moment El heard Nitäl yell in pain and curse out one of her goats and Furian's little happy squeal coming from the barn. He must have brought him downstairs to play with the mini animals and turns to head in that direction when she hears another shout come from down the hall

Absalom: Really Fel!? Did you have to pee on me again?

Elucea: HE didn't do anything! YOU and KAN are the problem!

Absalom: What did we do now?

Elucea: You're bothering Nitäl with last minute requests to babysit! Whether he minds or not is irrelevant! He can't make plans of his own or he's going to cancel plans he's already made to say yes to any request you make of him!

Nitäl: That's not what happened, El.
