We are glad we took the two hour bus drive to Elafonissi beach. The water was extremely beautiful and we did find some of the pink sand it is known for. It was very bright so we didn’t take very good pictures of the beach.
On the bus trip home we stopped at a hill top restaurant with spectacular views of the beach we had just spent all day at. All milk products at the restaurant were made from their own goat’s milk. And of course we found and loved on the dogs hiding in the shade. We think they belonged to the owner.
Our last excursion day! We are now able to spend our last day days resting and taking it slow.

Einfach anfangen: Dein Weg zum Erfolg
Tumblr media
On Tuesday, we took a bus to Elafonissi beach on the southwestern side of the island of Crete. I thought we were just taking a bus straight to the beach. The transportation and information is usually a little chaotic or not translated well… or is missing information. Our first stop was a nice hillside breakfast joint with an optional hike to a cave. I had my horrible beach flip flops on and chose not to go. But I am glad Michael had fun at the cave :)
