Random thoughts on the Return of the Main Story...
Tumblr media
I'm curious for when they do start the Main Story back up in a few months, if the required hunter levels are going to pick up where they left off (like required level 56 or something to unlock chapter 9)... or if they're going to be like "SUPRISE... you need to be level 80+ to unlock this chapter!"
Also for main story battles.... the final boss was only a level 45. Lets hope they keep it that low and don't jump straight to recommended card level 70 or some shit 馃ぃ

hello soft鈥攄ragon!! i鈥檓 very sorry to be a bother, and i don鈥檛 mean to rush you on any terms.. but i was wondering if you have any tips for beginner artists? like maybe what to do if you have writer鈥檚 block?
again i am not forcing you to answer at all and am just curious as you are a great role model of mine and i have admired your work ^^
so get to this whenever you can, or don鈥檛! anything鈥檚 ok with me, have a wonderful day/night/morning/evening/dawn!
Hi Feng谩ri :D 馃挋
You're not being a bother at all sweetheart, don't apologise for sending a message, my inbox is open to everyone <3
Any tips for beginner writers? Well, I'll list some and we'll see if they're any help to you ^^
When starting out a new fic/mini story, I tend to think about the general plot or storyline I want. It never has to be concrete, it usually changes with time so giving yourself that flexibility to shift ideas around is helpful. Consider what you want the outcome to be for the characters and something you want to happen to them - e.g they get a hug, they get a kiss, they get hit, they get sad, they get angry, ect. When you have the idea of the story plot, you can make a start on the writing
What I sometimes tend to do with writing, is create some set up or scene setting because I like creating an in-depth scenario for my readers. The story background before the main plot will be very dependant on characters and universe the characters are set in. By giving more context you're providing a clearer image for the reader to visualize.
Sometimes I struggle with an intro, so what I do is either start at the middle and move forwards, or write the ending itself first. When that's done, I'll work backwards to make an intro and link the start, middle and end to have a clean, concise flow. It's an odd method, but it works for me as I'm setting the main point and just having to add the extra bits around it to make a fic
Dialogue, to put it simply, sucks ass sometimes. Writing speech for characters can be really difficult to articulate and seem accurate to the people talking. When I write, I tend to put on a video or episode with the person I'm writing about so I can hear their speech patterns and figure out ways they'd speak to others. That helps create an accurate depiction of your writing subject
This is probably me being picky, but I hate using the same word twice. For instance the word 'said' is very overused in books sometimes, so it's really good to add more variety. Words like 'chirped', 'snarked', 'spat', 'hissed', ect are all good replacements and gives more insight into how the character is speaking. Repetition of a word can be annoying and take you out of the story, this is something that's happened to me before
Punctuation. Grammar. Correct paragraphing. These are important. While it can seem like a grievance to do so much work for your fic, it is so good to see it and helps the flow of the story. A story with a lack of grammar and punctuation can be difficult to read, and that will lose you readers. By putting in the effort to correct your story's punctuation, you're strengthening your writing abilities. Reading your story aloud will provide some insight into where to put commas or end the sentence. Adding a comma or full stop after a character speaks helps with the pacing of the story. Making the paragraphs fairly big won't seem overwhelming for the reader, keep them at a moderate size
Writers block is the absolute worst. I hate it. My way of coping with it is jotting down story points I want to happen and working on it in bits and pieces to build up the flow again. They never have to be concise at the start, they could go; "Character A is looking over the water" to "Character B rips Character A's arm off". How did this happen?? That's what you're picking apart to build up.
Another thing I do to handle writers block is read other people's stories and headcanons, it helps spark your own ideas and how you could integrate them into your story. One thing I will say, and I cannot lament this enough, DO NOT JUST STEAL THE IDEA FROM SOMEONE ELSE AND CLAIM IT AS YOUR OWN. You're more than allowed to gain inspiration from them, of course you are, but outright stealing the concept is just wrong. Anyway, reading other people's stories is also really cool because holy shit some people are talented and deserve praise for their stuff. Reblog! Comment! Give Kudos! Bookmark! Talk in the tags! Whatever platform you're using to read, make sure to give the writer praise and love because it helps them keep creating!! <3
It's always good to look back on your work with fresh eyes! If you're struggling to write something, take a break and work on something else then return to it. You'll notice any typos, mistakes or story issues by coming back after a while, and you'll be able to continue the story (trust me this works)
If there's anything else you need some tips/advice/help with writing, my inbox is open ^^ I hope you're having a wonderful day/night love (/p), thank you for sending in your ask :D

馃彨馃嵒馃敧 For Fawkes? Need me some super mutant lovin' 馃グ (yes i'm kind of ignoring canon on that one, lemme fuck a super mutant bethesda) No pressure if you're uncomfortable w it or anything so no worries!!
Ohhh, I got you, my friend, I got you 馃槈 This man deserves some lovin' after all those years in isolation.
(and I might be wrong, but I think it's only officially canon that the Mutants in FO4 [the ones made by the Institute] are sans endowment, for the ones in 3 and NV, I think it's a bit more ambiguous 馃 so there's definitely hope! [just so long as I'm not wrong, lol])
Either way, here it is! NSFW under the cut!
F) Favorite position (this goes without saying):
His size makes him too nervous to be on top of you, no matter what you tell him you can handle, so he often declines positions like missionary or lazy dog, where he's afraid he might end up crushing you. So, he tends to favor positions where he can still be close to you, without having to worry so much. He can hardly last when you ride him, he's so enthralled with the way you look as you grind on top of him, but he finds that he really likes it. It also gives the added benefit of you controlling how much you can handle, and what pace you'd like to go at, so that definitely makes riding a favorite of his. He also appreciates reverse cowgirl, but only temporarily, as he really does enjoy seeing your face. Another option is standing positions, with you draped over a piece of furniture, or held against a wall. Fawkes has got a lot of strength, and though he often holds it at bay to keep from hurting you, that doesn't mean he doesn't like to show off and use it to his advantage every once in awhile.
A) Aftercare (what they're like after sex):
Even when you tell him not to, Fawkes worries about you. And despite the fact that he takes the utmost care when he's with you, after the two of you are finished, he's all over you, asking you to tell him honestly if you're alright, inspecting your skin to make sure you aren't marked too brutally, ensuring the only tears in your eyes are from pleasure, and never from pain he's caused.
When he's finally finished checking on you, he loves pillow talk. After you're all cleaned up, he likes when you lean against his body, his hand in yours as you two chat away until sleep claims the both of you.
W) Wildcard (a random headcannon for the character):
He may be big and imposing, but Fawkes really likes a partner that will take control. When you tell him what to do, or move parts of his body of your own accord and use him to reach your mind-shattering release, he always comes undone at the sight of it.
K) Kink (one or more of their kinks):
Dirty talk, but like, his version of dirty talk, which is mostly flowery and romantic declarations and relentless praise (so praise kink as well, both giving and receiving).
Though he won't like to admit it, he does have a bit of a size kink, loving the way he can pick you up and manhandle you when he does choose to be more dominant.
He's really curious about roleplay, and would love to try out new scenarios with you. He had a lot of time to himself all those years, so he's got plenty of imaginative ideas.
Light bondage (for him). He likes the idea of you having to restrain him because he's so aggressively drawn to you, (even if he really is very aware of his and your limitations), and the way you can be the one to manipulate him when he's at your mercy gets him harder than he thought was possible.
E) Experienced (how experienced are they? Do they know what they're doing?):
Perhaps the old Fawkes, the human man, maybe he was experienced. But Fawkes now? Everything he knows is from what he's read on that terminal of his before the others destroyed it, so he has very good anatomic knowledge, and well-rounded understanding of the meanings and general practices of sex, but no real world experience with a partner. This base proves to be excellent though, just enough to know what he should be doing, with you there to guide him through the rest. And don't worry, Fawkes is a fast learner.
S) Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? How long do they last?):
Ummmm, yeah. His endurance is startling. Fawkes can go just about as many rounds as you want, and though he tends to be a little premature in the first round with you, he recovers in mere minutes. And he really cannot get enough of you. He's been locked up, pent up, for years, and you're everything he's ever wanted, but what he feared he'd never have. So, so long as you aren't in pain, or too tired to continue, Fawkes could quite literally go all night.

I have a scenario for my guy Akaza: Its late at night either in the city or one of the larger towns, Akaza is out and about and comes across a human couple around his age, who then start getting harassed by several older human guys. The older guys start getting physical with the younger guy who is defending his girlfriend; what does Akaza do?
a/n:聽This is certainly an interesting situation... I definitely feel that Akaza wold be quite conflicted. As we know, he despises weak people, so when he first takes notice of the situation, he would be looking for who shows the most weakness. Depending on how the situation progresses, he would either make the decision to step in or just let it play out.
I'm quite conflicted here too, so I'll write two different scenarios. Scenario one for stepping in, scenario 2 for playing out.
Tumblr media
Akaza was strolling through a large town that he had come across in his travels. He was curious as to what he would find, be it prey or mere entertainment. The streets were crowded, so it was easy for him to blend into the shadows.
As he was walking, a young couple caught his eye; a male and a female who looked to be around 18. He was intrigued by how gentle they were to each other, holding hands and occasionally pausing to kiss the other on the cheek.
He saw himself and Koyuki in them. It took a lot of effort for him to repress the wave of emotions that hit him.
Akaza climbed onto a roof so as to not draw attention to himself while he observed them.聽
The crowds began to thin out as they neared the outskirts of the town.聽
The couple continued to walk, although they slowed their pace a little, as if they were weary of what the night may throw at them.聽
They were right to be cautious, for as soon as they turned into a quiet alley, they were confronted by a group of five or so older men.聽
The couple attempted to get past them and continue on their way home, but the men blocked their path.聽
The couple realised that this wasn鈥檛 a situation to be taken lightly. So did Akaza.聽
The male stepped in front of his partner in a valiant attempt to shield her, as the older group made their move and began to attack.聽
Akaza was taken aback by the sudden violent outburst, and his instincts screamed at him to jump in and stop the fight. But why unnecessarily involve himself in some lowly street fight?聽
He decided to sit back and observe. If he needed to step in, he would.聽
For now, he would focus on identifying any weak points on both sides.聽
Scenario A
At first glance, he would be impressed by the older group's physical strength.
However, as he continues to observe, he begins to fully comprehend the situation.
The younger guy, although graciously outnumbered, is defending his girlfriend, who also looks ready to kick some ass if needed.
The younger guy gets taken down, and the older group begins to pile in to attack him.
The girl jumps forward, trying to pull the attackers off her partner. The older guys take her down too.
This is a selling point for Akaza.聽
The fact that the couple still fight, even when they're clearly outnumbered is a valiant act in Akaza's eyes.
He jumps down, and upon taking note of his demonic appearance, the older guys flee.
This disgusts Akaza. They're clearly the weak ones here, so after making sure the couple are able to manage on their own, Akaza tracks the group of older guys down. I'll say he was a little peckish.
When Akaza returns to the couple, the guy staggers to his feet to protect his partner from what he considers to be a threat.
Akaza, not wanting any further involvement, would simply give a gentle nod and walk away. He's not going to bother them, as they can clearly handle themselves. With all the noise they were making, it's likely that someone will be along soon, and he doesn't fancy coming into contact with some weak demon slayers tonight.
Scenario B
Akaza is very conflicted. Yes the older group is stronger physically, but the young couple has more resolve and mental strength.聽
The older group manages to land more hits on the couple, but is that just because there are more of them?聽
Is attacking in a group a sign of weakness or tactical strength?聽
The young male isn鈥檛 able to retaliate. Is that because he鈥檚 physically weak, or he has such a strong resolve hat he would put himself on the line for his lover?聽
Akaza鈥檚 mind is alight with questions.聽
Technically, the older group isn鈥檛 hurting the girl, so that aligns with Akaza鈥檚 morals. She鈥檚 clearly scared, so is she weak or wise?聽
Akaza鈥檚 mind seems to be at war with his heart. This is just another petty street fight. Surely they all have their reasons to fight like this. If it was any other fight, Akaza wouldn鈥檛 have given it a second glance. So why now?聽
Is the sight of some silly little couple weakening him? He hasn鈥檛 been with anyone in that context for centuries. So why now does it have an effect on him?
He brings his attention back to the fight, where the male is slowly climbing to his feet after taking a heavy beating. He lunges for the group, his punches sloppy and uncoordinated. Akaza cringes slightly.聽
Even with their arms cut off, even the weakest demon slayer could throw a decent attack. Nowhere near decent enough to take Akaza down, but decent enough to put on a show before they collapsed.聽
The girl is almost in tears, crying out for help as she watches her lover be beaten down repeatedly.聽
As much as Akaza doesn鈥檛 want to see her get hurt, he wishes that she鈥檇 do something more than just sit helplessly on the ground. Besides, it鈥檚 not like anyone鈥檚 going to bother with answering her calls in the middle of the night.聽
Eventually, he decides that this fight isn鈥檛 worth his time. The only reason he was there was because he laid eyes on some random couple and was reminded of his painfully insignificant human life.聽
He turns away from the alley, blocking out the cries for help. It鈥檚 not his problem.聽
He came for food and entertainment, and he will not find it tonight.聽
