#ehhh i think it'll be too much of a hassle

Y’know peeps, I think I’m not feeling the Sonic fandom anymore. At least not the English-speaking side of it.

After a couple of years working on providing quality content and meeting tons of new people, I think the Spanish Sonic fandom is my true home. It’s my native language, after all, and I spend more time with people there watching the English-speaking fandom engage in the hot new drama of the week and piling up rancid takes. From what I’ve managed to talk with other fans, this seems to be a shared sentiment across the Spanish and Japanese-speaking parts of the Sonic fandom at the very least. There’s a rapture that keeps growing.

So, I don’t know what I’ll do here. For the past 5 years this has been my gateway into giving back all the knowledge and passion the fandom shared with me, and I won’t erase any archives of those times. But maybe I’ll change the blog substantially and go focus on other media.

I’m still a very big Sonic fan and I think we’re living through some incredible times in the dawn of this new era. But I’m choosing to share this fandom experience in Spanish, be it on Twitter or with my Discord community that I’m quite proud of.

So, you might see me under a different name soon, I don’t know yet. You might see me in the Sonic fandom, or we’ll catch each other in other interests. But I just wanted to let you know how I feel about this place.
