Dwelling And dealing From the United Arab Emirates
Receiving toward the end of my vocation, I might been waiting for some pleasure in my daily life For a long time. My job Along with the Australian Authorities experienced improved following successive restructures to a occupation wherein I was not intrigued, not educated, educated or experienced. Confident, I coped with the operate, but I felt like a fish out of water. I desperately necessary a completely new way as I sat looking forward to a promised redundancy package deal.
When my spouse returned from a vacation to the Middle East and recommended I submit an application for a occupation from the UAE, I thought she was joking. She wasn't. In days I used to be hunting the web for career vacancies and found there have been hundreds. In just a thirty day period or two I had a work supply to work to be a Instructor in the School of Company at Al Ain Women's Higher education, certainly one of 13 Bigger Colleges of Technological know-how.
Obtaining by no means lived abroad right before, it was a huge final decision to go somewhere which has a vastly distinctive lifestyle, far from our youngsters and grandson. We determined that we might take the challenge and when it didn't workout, we could normally appear house.
Tumblr media
Our Arrival
We arrived at Dubai Intercontinental Airport at some ungodly hour after a 14 hour excursion from Melbourne, Australia. We had been instructed that we necessary to pick up our Short term Visas from an immigration desk, but when we observed the desk, the personnel was elusive, our first clue that almost everything will not run too in the UAE because it does in Australia. Inside an hour or so, we had passed through Customs, gathered our baggage and visas and left the airport with an exceedingly likeable, very well-dressed and perfectly-spoken Indian gentleman named Vijay. Vijay was a driver utilized with the Al Ain Colleges and we found out before long that he was the person who made issues take place For brand new staff... Mr Deal with It.
Immediately after signing my contract, I used to be handed two envelopes. 1 contained a sum of money to deal with our remain in a hotel for six days, one other experienced a cheque for 30,000 Dirhams for setup expenditures. We had no idea what a Dirham was actually well worth, nonetheless it appeared like a lot of money... and I hadn't accomplished every day's operate nonetheless.
Settling-In
We discovered Al Ain a pleasant oasis with two-lane carriageways divided by iron fences and date palm trees. It had been shockingly eco-friendly for a spot in the course of the desert, but all over the place we went, we noticed the municipality had taken excellent pride in supplying an attractive city with an outstanding method of roadways and infrastructure. It was Significantly nicer than our city in Australia and h2o was obviously plentiful.
Very apparent to us was the difference in gown Among the many populous who had been largely Indian, Pakistani, Afghani, Asians, and Arabs. Caucasians like us had been fairly scarce (about 3,000 amongst four hundred,000 population). We could inform wherever individuals have been from by their costume, if not their look. Even the Arabs have distinctive gown; readers from close by Oman have headdress that distinguishes them from the community Emiratis, but each use identical kandora (a lengthy white, dress-like robe).
Everybody we fulfilled was helpful, In spite of Recurrent language boundaries. There was no graffiti and litter was scarce. Properties ranged from ostentatious to crumbling brick box abodes for very low paid labour. Our accommodation in a huge housing complex was palatial by Australian benchmarks; 4 bedrooms and also a maid's room, 5 toilets, superior ceilings, along with a two car or truck garage. We couldn't feel that two persons were being to become accommodated in these kinds of massive accommodation.
The HCT's orientation for our 14 new workers was prolonged and in depth, the top orientation system I had ever skilled. In September I began educating with lessons in human means subjects for closing yr learners and computing and common small business for very first calendar year students.
The Worries of Teaching
For the very first handful of months I wondered irrespective of whether I had created the appropriate determination. I'd 140 learners in class teams of 20 aged amongst 19 and twenty five. Their English ranged from Practically incapable to satisfactory and many could not build a simple sentence. They had been apparently unaccustomed to study rather than pretty determined to understand. Lifestyle at higher education was an escape from their households.
My girls wore regular garb... black abeyas from neck to foot and black headdress. Many had only their eyes visible. Their names have been not just prolonged, but primarily new to me. I'd fantastic issues pronouncing some names and remembering who was who whenever they all seemed related; brown eyes, brown pores and skin and black garments. After I settled in, I started to understand that they have been a very immature ton in contrast with Australian teenagers. Lots of experienced never ever been into a shop; most had never ever spoken to males exterior their people; their familiarity with the whole world was quite slim fitting tightly in the strict bounds of their Islamic faith, culture and area in everyday life. That they had generally enjoyable, humorous dispositions, which was a lifesaver as I quickly developed an outstanding rapport with Many of them who in some methods jogged my memory of my own daughter now so far away.
This Odd fellow from Australia which has a funny accent who spoke speedy and infrequently utilized Australianisms quickly equipped in to his new surrounds and manufactured mates Along with the locals.
When operate was a considerable challenge wanting to inspire them, produce education and learning inside of a meaningful and comprehensible way, it had been also satisfying to are aware that sooner or later, what I had assisted them study, could be of worth to them and would, Maybe, assist the United Arab Emirates.

Earning Friends
Tumblr media
youtube
The trends best part of The entire adventure was The brand new close friends we designed with expats from Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, the US, Jordan, Egypt, France, Turkey as well as Australia. With the expense of living so inexpensive, we dined out regularly and celebrated every birthday, nationwide working day, and sometimes dined out simply to share a food, a glass of wine and many superior company.
For the duration of our summer holidays we managed to travel around Europe, to Canada, Hong Kong and several other Center Japanese nations outdoors the UAE. We put in each week at Cyprus. Amongst our explanations for going to your UAE was to travel. We certainly did that and it was much cheaper than doing it from Down Underneath.
Making Income
Tumblr media
While my salary was about the same as I gained in Australia, there is not any income tax. In reality There exists rarely any tax at all, Whilst should you dine in a resort now, you fork out ten% services demand and 6% tourism tax. You will discover expenses for motorcar registration, driver's licences etc, but all have been much, less expensive than I might have compensated in Australia. Petrol was Filth affordable as was food stuff and Pretty much everything else, so we lived like kings and deprived ourselves of practically nothing, knowing this desire would inevitably stop.
Though we hadn't long gone to your UAE to earn cash, my spouse failed to operate and we did our perfect to invest it on journey, a brand new motor vehicle and living comfortably, we left with a great deal of funds, some new furnishings and tailor-created garments and so on. We did quite very well out of the UAE.
Conclusion
When you live in an isolated spot like Australia, it is straightforward to become Australia-centric and maybe a tiny bit arrogant. Going to other areas broadens your outlook and is particularly the working experience of the life span that every Australian really should just take. It's got a humbling outcome whenever you see nations that do not have drunks stumbling in regards to the streets, no graffiti, no petty theft, no Road brawls, and cleanse, very well-dressed individuals with satisfaction, not like A lot of Australia. Conversely, a couple of nations we visited reminded us how incredibly Blessed we've been to have the ability to get on a jet and return to Australia.

Please Remember Project Moses Colorado this Giving Tuesday, November 29th
PLEASE REMEMBER PROJECT MOSES COLORADO ON GIVING TUESDAY NOVEMBER 29th 2022
In less than two weeks, on December 29, 2022, it will be Giving Tuesday 2022.  This giving Tuesday, please remember the millions of persecuted and threatened Christian minorities in nations such as Pakistan, Egypt, Syria and Iraq.  It is the mission Project Moses Colorado to aid, assist, advocate for and, where possible, protect, persecuted and threatened Christian minorities.
In 2021, after years of helping a threatened extended Pakistani Christian family of 17 Project Moses Colorado was able to help all 17 to receive asylum in Canada.  Annually, between 500 and 1000 young Pakistani Christian women are kidnapped, forced to marry their abductors and forced to convert to Islam. While technically illegal, Pakistani authorities generally overlook the practice.
When, in 2013, a young Pakistani Christian man fell in love with and married a young Muslim woman from a militant family, who then became a Christian, however, it became a death sentence not only for the young Christian man and his wife, but also included all of the young man's brothers and sisters and their families, a total of 17 individuals.  The families abandoned their homes and businesses and fled to Bangkok Thailand, which has a United Nations High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR) office at which refugees may apply for asylum.
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of Pakistani Christians in Bangkok, as well as Sri Lanka.  UNHCR takes an average of eight to nine years to process asylum applications from persecuted Christians.  In the meantime their situations are often desperate.  They are not allowed to work legally (making some vulnerable to slavery and human trafficking) As they were only able to travel to Thailand using a short-term tourist visa, and because of the unconscionably lengthy period of time that the UNHCR takes to process their asylum applications, they are forced to overstay their visas making them vulnerable to arrest, where they are either given exorbitant fines or deported.
It took until 2019 for UNHCR to rule on the group's application.  Asylum was only granted to the young man, his ex-Muslim wife, and the two children they had while in Bangkok.  The remaining 13 family members had no choice but to continue to live an underground existence in Bangkok.  Fortunately, strong advocacy from a Canadian church and Project Moses Colorado caused Canada to ignore the UNHCR ruling and grant asylum and relocation to all 17.
Sadly, however, that happy result is not common.  Currently, Project Moses Colorado is aiding other Pakistani Christians in Bangkok and elsewhere, whose asylum applications have been rejected and/or those living in dangerous situations, to the extent we are able.   Even more sadly we have lost contact with others, for whom we can now only pray.
PLEASE REMEMBER PROJECT MOSES COLORADO ON GIVING TUESDAY NOVEMBER 29th 2022.

About the Hijackers
On September 11, 2001, nineteen hijackers took control of four flights.  Listed below are the flights and the hijackers involved.
o   American Airlines Flight 11: crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center
§  Mohamed Atta: from Egypt, tactical leader of the 9/11 plot and pilot
§  Abdul Aziz al Omari: from Saudi Arabia
§  Wail al Shehri: from Saudi Arabia
§  Waleed al Shehri: from Saudi Arabia
§  Satam al Suqami: from Saudi Arabia
o   United Airlines Flight 175: crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center
§  Marwan al Shehhi: United Arab Emirates, pilot
§  Fayez Banihammad: United Arab Emirates
§  Ahmed al Ghamdi: Saudi Arabia
§  Hamza al Ghamdi: Saudi Arabia
§  Mohand al Shehri: Saudi Arabia
o   American Airlines Flight 77: crashed into the Pentagon
§  Hani Hanjour: Saudi Arabia, pilot
§  Nawaf al Hazmi: Saudi Arabia
§  Salem al Hazmi: Saudi Arabia
§  Khalid al Mihdhar: Saudi Arabia
    §  Majed Moqed: Saudi Arabia
o   United Airlines Flight 93: crash lands in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania
    §  Ziad Jarrah: Lebanon, pilot
§  Saeed al Ghamdi: Saudi Arabia
§  Ahmad al Haznawi: Saudi Arabia
§  Ahmed al Nami: Saudi Arabia
Tumblr media
Following the attacks, investigations were launched and Khalid Sheikh Mohamed was found to be the primary coordinator of the 9/11 attacks.
o   Khalid Sheikh Mohamed (also referred to as KSM) was born in Pakistan and grew up in Kuwait, where he got involved with political Islamic activity as a teenager
o   He came to the States for higher education and his beliefs developed
o   He possessed a Saudi Arabian passport but was not a native of Saudi Arabia
o   He was “commissioned” by Osama bin Laden to plan the attack
o   The role he played in producing the attacks is not easily understood or evident in the immediate aftermath of the attacks
o   According to testimony KSM gave in custody, versions of his plans were much more complex and dramatic, giving him more significant roles in the plot.
Investigations into the attacks also uncovered several other conspirators:
o   Ramzi Bin-al-shibh: Yemeni, potential pilot, denied visa four times.
o   Zakariya Essabar: Moroccan, potential pilot/hijacker, denied visa.
o   Saeed “Jihad” al Gamdi: Potential hijacker, denied visa.
o   Ali Abdul Aziz Ali: Pakistani, financial facilitator, denied visa.
o   Mohamed al Kahtani: potential hijacker, denied visa.
All 19 hijackers were in the country legally, many were in the United States on tourist visas.  The hijackers also obtained drivers licenses/ID cards from Florida, California, Virginia, and New Jersey
One of the major questions asked following the attacks was “Why?”  As is common in many terrorist attacks, Al-Qaeda did not have the resources to destroy the U.S. militarily. Instead, they chose to attack symbolic targets. The World Trade Center symbolized globalization and America’s position of economic power and prosperity. The Pentagon symbolized American military power.  Some believe that Flight 93 was headed to the Capitol building, a symbol of American legislative government.  Terrorist attacks serve to generate fear and weaken the nation as well as spread political or religious beliefs.

Pandemic highlights the vulnerability of migrant workers in the Middle East
Tumblr media
By Omer Karasapan The U.N. says there are 35 million international migrants in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC, a group of Persian Gulf states), Jordan, and Lebanon. They are defined as “someone who changes his or her country of usual residence, irrespective of the reason or legal status.” They include refugees and dependents—31 percent are women. Arab states also host a subgroup of 23 million migrant workers—defined by the ILO as “a person who migrates or who has migrated from one country to another with a view to being employed other than on his own account.” Most are in low-skill, low-wage occupations; 39 percent are women. These numbers are often underestimated. The GCC hosts 10 percent of global migrants with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) respectively hosting the third and sixth largest such populations globally. International migrants comprise over 80 percent of the populations of the UAE and Qatar, 70 percent of Kuwait’s, and 55 percent of Bahrain’s. Migrants are more vulnerable due to inadequate health care, worse economic conditions, and overcrowded living conditions, which put them at greater risk of infection. The majority of COVID-19 cases in the Gulf are among foreign migrants. For 2020, the International Monetary Fund sees economies in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) down by 5.7 percent, with the GCC shrinking by 7.6 percent. This means massive unemployment, unpaid wages through failing businesses or wage theft, arbitrary detentions or deportations as legal residencies falter, and a growing need for food handouts. Many are stranded due to travel bans or unaffordable tickets. Similar hardships have hit Lebanon’s 250,000 foreign workers with many abandoned and unpaid. Stories of unemployment and unpaid wages for foreign workers are being told in Jordan. The over 1 million refugees in each country have also greatly suffered economically while facing increased resentment. The port blast in Beirut has only compounded this tragedy. COVID-19’s economic crisis will also devastate millions dependent on remittances from India to Egypt and beyond 2019.  Remittances from the GCC were $120 billion—the top three were the UAE ($40 billion), Saudi Arabia ($39 billion), and Kuwait ($15 billion). The World Bank forecasts a 20 percent drop in remittances to low- and middle-income countries, from 2019’s $714 billion (the highest ever) to $572 billion in 2020, exceeding the 5 percent dip after the 2008 crisis. The usual pattern of a crisis in poorer countries leading to increased remittances may not apply now, since both hosting and sending countries are in crisis. The relationship between the GCC and foreign workers is one of mutual, if uneven, interdependence. GCC economies would be crippled without foreign workers. Over 90 percent of private sector workers in the UAE and Qatar are foreigners and 80 percent or higher in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Foreign workers also generate economic demand, especially for staples and essential services. Large departures of higher wage expatriates would cripple the high-end, high-tech economies sought by these countries while significantly impacting demand for high-end goods and services. Despite labor policies encouraging employment of nationals and technology, foreign workers, low wage or otherwise, will remain critical to these economies for many years. Unless changes are made, labor conditions will remain shameful. The pandemic underlined flawed labor migration systems with myriad avenues for abuse. The most notorious is the “kafala” sponsorship system in the GCC, Lebanon, and Jordan. Workers cannot leave or change employers without their employers’ consent, placing them at risk of exploitation and abuse. Those who leave without “permission” risk losing legal residency and face detention and deportation. The practice is seen as an opening to modern day slavery by the ILO, Amnesty International, and others. Human Rights Watch defines it as “a restrictive immigration regime of laws, regulations, and customary practices—that ties migrant workers’ legal residency to their employer.” This system also leaves migrants largely outside national labor and other protective legislation. From Jordan to Lebanon to GCC countries, there have been reforms over the years, the most far-reaching in Qatar in August 2020. Still, basic elements of the system persist. Many nationals see the availability of cheap labor as part of the social contract—another largess in exchange for political quiescence. Reforms are often opposed by local and international interests, especially the private sector whose workers are overwhelmingly foreigners. Also profiting are companies that facilitate and profit from this vast movement of people. Onerous fees for foreign jobs are common with many migrants borrowing at high rates, often leading to debt-bondage. For many, including the U.N. and local activists, racism plays a role. Human Rights Watch‘s Hiba Zayadin says “the pandemic exposed decades of systemic racial discrimination” and adds that “unless the (Kafala) system as a whole is abolished, you won’t see any real improvement in the lived experiences of migrant workers in the Gulf.” Nor, obviously, in other countries where the system exists. Still, returns have started. The ILO says the exodus will exceed exits during the 2008 crisis and the 2014 oil price drop. Over 200,000 have left the UAE while 450,000 Indians and 60,000 Pakistanis have applied for repatriation. Since 2017, 1 million foreign workers have left Saudi Arabia as Saudization ramped up. Another 1.2 million could leave in 2020. Yet unemployment remains at 12 percent as many Saudis refuse lower-end jobs. However, with economic recovery, demand for foreign workers will ramp up, as will abuses. There are benefits to reform. Allowing workers to change employers can lead to increased productivity and better wages. A Dubai study noted that employer-specific visas led to inefficiencies of 6.6 percent of total costs and 11 percent, on average, of profits. The ILO has numerous recommendations including discontinuing individual sponsorship and having a host-country agency or ministry regulate recruitment, allow exits without employer approval, and impose penalties for those who withhold workers’ passports, mobile phones, etc. It also has recommendations for sending countries and individual employers. What needs doing is fairly clear, but political will is needed to proceed. This is a system that despite severe systemic and individual violations, has pulled millions out of poverty, contributing globally to political stability and development. These jobs and remittances will be critical as economies recover. It is in the interest of the international community to push for positive change and support local reformers to build a sustainable and humane migration system.

Raid by EGYPT on TURKISH news agency hostile censorship attempt as EGYPT has jailed dozens of journalists, as one of world’s worst jailers, along with TURKEY & CHINA, so should release journalists held & stop using false news charges to harass & silence media, while tensions in SAUDI ARABIA high, as U.S. Air Force F-15EStrikeEagles arrived at critical base, amid escalations in conflict with IRAN, following U.S. drone strike in BAGHDAD, IRAQ that killed IRAN Senior General, Qasem Soleimani, as U.S. strike result of laser focus on IRAN by U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, for whom conflict personal, as in 2016, Mike Pompeo, KANSAS congressman, dropped off application for IRAN travel visa to Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, to address important issues, while Mike Pompeo did not make it past lobby, let alone into IRAN, such that in hindsight IRAN probably wish their PAKISTANI embassy in U.S. had issued travel visa, as Mike Pompeo focused on Qasem Soleimani for years, such that when opportunity to kill presented itself, Mike Pompeo advised U.S. President Donald Trump to take it, despite knowing it could lead to war & activation of IRAN terror cells around world, as Mike Pompeo continues to be thorn in IRAN side as U.S. maximum pressure strategy persists, to bring IRAN to its knees.

Malala Yousafzai, the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, on Friday condemned President Trump’s executive order establishing new vetting measures for immigrants.
“I am heartbroken that today President Trump is closing the door on children, mothers and fathers fleeing violence and war,” Yousafzai said. “I am heartbroken that America is turning its back on a proud history of welcoming refugees and immigrants — the people who helped build your country, ready to work hard in exchange for a fair chance at a new life.”
Yousafzai, 19, issued the statement at about the same time that Trump announced his latest executive orders, including one that reportedly will suspend the U.S. refugee program for 120 days. The text of the order was not immediately available.
According to CNN, drafts of the order also bar “all persons from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia or Yemen from entering the United States for 30 days.”
Yousafzai specifically addressed some of those countries in her statement. The young Pakistani activist, who now lives in Britain, gained international attention in 2012 when the Taliban shot her in the head for embracing education for girls. She has since campaigned for education rights across the globe and won the Nobel Prize in 2014.
“I am heartbroken that Syrian refugee children, who have suffered through six years of war by no fault of their own, are singled out for discrimination,” Yousafzai said. “I am heartbroken for girls like my friend Zaynab, who fled wars in three countries — Somalia, Yemen and Egypt — before she was even 17. Two years ago she received a visa to come to the United States. She learned English, graduated high school and is now in college studying to be a human rights lawyer.”
She ended her statement: “In this time of uncertainty and unrest around the world, I ask President Trump not to turn his back on the world’s most defenseless children and families.”

>It’s a 90-day moratorium | One that is utterly fucking useless since it doesn't even cover countries who have delivered the most death to Americans outside of armed conflict and occupation. If you, and Trump, actually give a shit about our national security, maybe we ought to be re-examining our relations with the Middle East as a whole, rather than implementing a halfassed moratorium. Maybe it just feeds in to how much you pretend to care about America, and the Americans who disagree with you.
Liberals last week: ISOLATIONISM IS BAD TRUMP IS SATAN
Liberals this week: FUCK THE ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST, ALL OF ‘EM!
Only the left-wing could sneer about the blatant racism of Trump “banning” Muslim-majority nations from immigration while simultaneously sneering about how he didn’t “ban” them all and how stupid it is. Listen, fiddlefuck - you are literally so wrong that NEWSWEEK of all goddamned publications did a pretty good job (despite themselves) documenting how and why those nations aren’t a problem and/or why diplomacy takes precedent:
http://www.newsweek.com/muslim-majority-countries-not-included-trump-travel-ban-550141
Or just read my list:
Saudi Arabia: Our longstanding and crucial regional ally which provides most of the bases from which our aircraft conduct operations against ISIS - and against Iraq in the first and second Gulf war - and are aligned with us in trying to contain Iran, etc. There’s a whole fucking Wikipedia article on the close relationship between the US and Saudi Arabia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saudi_Arabia%E2%80%93United_States_relations
They’re not our fucking friends but they sure do play ball, which means there’s actually a co-operating government with working intel services on their end helping to vet visa applicants.
Pakistan: Also a vital regional ally the US has long ties with, and worse, it’s a regional ally that is most definitely not our friend, something about “fucking hiding Bin Laden within shouting distance of their fucking major military academy” or something, I dunno. They’re also fighting an ongoing Taliban insurgency in their country (many of which we chased out of Afghanistan) and not doing too fucking swell at it, oh and did I mention they have nukes? You might say that situation is ticklish, but given the shit-tons of financial aid (and weapons) we provide them, we’re not lacking for influence when it comes to compliance and aid in immigration matters. Suffice to say the Pakistanis have a functioning government and halfway competent military/police force, and good reasons not to piss us off by letting fucking insurgents embark at their airports. And on the flip side neither of us really like the other, and relations are still shaky so this isn’t a good time to be cockslapping them with an immigration moratorium, moron. Here, read the fuck up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pakistan%E2%80%93United_States_relations#Alliance_with_United_States
Afghanistan: You mean the nation we have 7,000 fucking troops in as we fucking speak, and the government is one we defend, support and effectively prop up? We control the fucking airports out of that country, you knuckle-dragging fuckwit.
Turkey: Last week: TRUMP IS TRYING TO TEAR APART NATO AND LET PUTIN REIGN AS SOVIET GOD-KING TILL THE END OF TIME!
This week: WHY DIDN’T TRUMP SKULLFUCK OUR NATO ALLY AT THE EXACT SAME TIME PUTIN’S SUCKING THEM OFF AS HARD AS POSSIBLE TO CAPITALIZE ON ALREADY SHAKY RELATIONS!?
You fucking idiot.
Tunisia: You mean that nation we’ve had good relations with for as long as we’ve had relations at all, that’s actively co-operating with our military operations against ISIS and has an actual democracy again after the Arab Spring actually worked there? Yes, let’s take an actual example of democracy by, for and of the people, living and thriving in the Middle East - you know, every ideal and virtue the US is trying to promote and defend - and just slap our nuts on their face. Top-fucking-notch suggestion, shitstain.
Jordan: Jordan is a fucking designated MAJOR NON-NATO ALLY, a title we hand out to very few nations - Japan, South Korea, and Australia among them. Their king was personally flying airstrikes against ISIS, something their government can’t damn well admit to (Kirk is not supposed to go on Away missions) but probably happened anyway, because the crazy bastard’s like the child of Chesty Puller and a machine gun. Oh yes, these are definitely people who have shit-tier customs and immigration apparatus that we just can’t trust and need to vet more strongly, Except not, you cock-gobbling sycophant fuck.
UAE and Qatar: See Saudi Arabia. Especially the UAE, they’re bombing the everloving hell out of ISIS and their efforts to keep them out of their country are, how you say, vigorous.
Egypt: The definition of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” since they broke with the Soviets back when the Cold War called the shots, but what’s significant now is that the de-facto rulers - their military junta - fucking hate the Muslim Brotherhood with a hot, hot hate. To give you an idea of how long the Muslim Brotherhood has been around; they were active in plotting insurrection against British rule - in the 1930s. They also had a hand in the rebellion of British-owned Iraq in WWII. They’re old-school extremists, and the Egyptian military junta, which rules with an iron and very stable fist, hates their fucking guts.
To be clear, here, you are literally advocating discrimination based on national origin, a protected class defined under the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Unlike Trump, who is temporarily pausing immigration based on port of embarkation, targeting nations where the local security services and/or government/intelligence apparatus cannot be trusted to do an adequate job on their end. And you’re going to lecture me on how much I “care about America?” If you gave fuck one about your country maybe you’d educate yourself before voting instead of dragging your knuckles all the way to the polls.

Things to do in Cairo in One Day
Egyptian Visa is quiet difficult for Pakistanis. I applied myself in 2017 and got refusal after one and half Month without any written reason or stamp.
Then I found one travel agent which was approved from Egyptian embassy for Religious visa. Actually Many Christens goes to Egypt for religious purpose. (Not sure he approved or not, but he confirmed me).
He deals in Groups and complete packages, but I requested him to support in just visa. He agreed and confirmed me.
I gave him Passport and Passport Size Snaps Only. He Required 17,000-Rs for visa.
He confirmed me that within 20days you will get your passport with Visa, But due to some reasons I got my passport after 43 days. Alhumdulillah this time I got visa.
Then I tried to get cheap ticket, but due to Pak India War issue, Flights tickets were too much expensive. I planned to perform umrah and got visa. Then I bought Ticket Lahore-Jeddah-Cairo-Jeddah Connect-Lahore in 94,000-Rs.
I performed Umrah and then I went to Cairo. I am doing job in FMCG Company, Therefore it is quite difficult to get long leaves. Therefore I spend 3 Nights in Makkah and Two Nights in Cairo.
I booked hotel in down town Area of Cairo.
I bought Sim on Airport of Orange Company. I paid 270-PKR for this with 3GB Internet.
I used Uber services from airport to Hotel. I paid rent 900-Pkr.
I reached to Hotel in evening 17:35, I took Shower and went to Nile Cruise Tour.  I reached their by walk. It was nice Tour. Belly Dance, Dinner and other Entertainment.   My CS Friend reached their and he paid his Ticket. Therefore I don’t know price.
Then I came back to hotel by using Uber .
Next Day:-
I used Uber and went to pyramids at Giza. Ticket was 1440-PKR for entry. I took Snaps and visit historical place. I spend 3 Hour.
After this I went to Old Cairo and spend 3 Hour.
Coptic sites of Cairo.
Learnt about the history of     Christianity in Egypt
See the oldest Christian church     in Egypt, The Hanging Church
Visit Abu Serga, one of the     places the Holy family rested when fleeing Israel
Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the     oldest synagogues in Egypt
Visit to the Coptic Museum.
After this I went to Restaurant and have Lunch. I Offered Prayer.
After this I went to Cairo Tower.
After this I went to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. And then I came back to Down Town. Then I enjoyed Night Life of Down Town Food Street and Bazar. After this I came back to my Hotel and take Rest. Next Day, Last Day, Half Day I get up early in the morning and i went to Egyptian museum.  I bought Entry Ticket in 1440-PKR, But immediately I knew that there is separate Ticket to see Mummy’s. I exchanged Ticket and Bought ticket in 2700-PKR + 450-PKR for Photography. Remember one thing that you cannot take photo of Mummy’s. It is not allowed. By Mistake I took some Snaps.   I spend 3 Hours in Egyptian Museum. After this I came back to down town and bought some Egyptian Sweets. After this I came back to hotel and get ready for airport.   FAQ: Is Cairo is Safe City? Yes, Generally Cairo is safe to walk in any district, but of course nothing is 100 percent guaranteed. Is Taxies are Safe? No, it is not recommended. Always try to use Uber or registered app. Is Cairo Cheaper or Expensive? I think Cairo is Cheap. You can Travel in economical price, you can book hotel in good price. You can eat food in good price. Even you can buy things in cheap rates. Is Cairo people are friendly? They are Good People, but I suggest to all that do not try to friendly. Government of Egypt do not allow to any Egypt to meet with any foreigners without license. (Tour License, Friends meet up License, Youth and foreigners Community License). If anyone found with foreigners, then Police will disturb to both.       How is the Traffic in Cairo? Ohhhh.. Hoooo.. I was thinking that Karachi is pathetic City in Traffic, but now Cairo is Winner. No Rule, No Management. So, Please Plan every Thing accordingly.
Can we find Halal food in Cairo?
Yea, this is Islamic Country and you may find Halal Food anywhere. If you are in down town then you may try too many Egyptian Cuisines.
Language is Cairo.
Language is very big problem in Cairo. You need Google translator or any other app to talk with them.
If you want to ask any other question, you may ask any time.
JazakAllah o Khair

An expat’s guide to Dubai real estate market.
Tumblr media
What comes to your mind when you think of Dubai? Luxurious lifestyle, skyrocketing buildings, larger than life malls, and happy people? Dubai is all of it. It is one of the most flamboyant and chic cities in the world.
Since shifting its focus from oil to tourism, infrastructure developed by leaps and bounds, new projects transfigured the city beyond recognition. It was then that Dubai gifted the world Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and The Palm, to name a few.
Together with being one of the top tourist destinations, Dubai has established itself as one of the most developed real estate markets. With governmental support, Dubai has become a top real estate market for investors, foreign nationals mainly.
So, what is it that attracts investors from all over the world to invest in Dubai real estate market?
Why should you consider Dubai as your investment destination?
There is no doubt that Dubai is an attractive destination for people from all over the world. But why do expats prefer to live and invest in Dubai? The list of reasons can become a long one and overwhelming but I think the most important ones are,
• A Stable economy
• The governments interest and encouragement of Dubai real estate market
• Continuous boost in the infrastructure of the city.
• Speaking of Dubai's real estate market situation– it shows one of the highest Return on investment between 8% and 12%, beating most of the developed economies of the world.
Apart from the above benefits of investing in Dubai real estate market, it is also ranked as one of the safest cities in the world.
When we talk about Dubai real estate investments it is important to show who are the main investors.
According to one of the latest DLD (Dubai Land Department) reports, Emirati nationals have emerged as top investors in Dubai real estate market with the total value of 2,986 real estate transactions of AED 6.8 billion.
Indians following Emirati investors, showing 3,218 transactions with the total worth of AED 5.9 billion.
Saudi residents closing the list of top 3 Dubai real estate investors with investing AED 3.7 billion through 1,415 investment transactions.
The list of top 10 investors by nationality included Britain, Pakistan, China, Egypt, Jordan and France.
What are the benefits of investing in Dubai real estate?
Investments in Dubai real estate market was always profitable for expats, but more so today. The government of Dubai has implemented rules and regulations with the aim to attract more foreign investors and provide more benefits to them. The restructuring of rules includes -
• A 10-year visa for investors
• Allowing funds and REITs (Real estate investment trusts) on the Dubai Financial Market
• Reducing fines and providing payment plans to expired business licenses, stimulation of businesses by releasing AED 14 billion in the form of visa deposits
• Allowing businesses to own 100% of their shareholding
• 6 months visas for people looking for work opportunities
• Freeze on school fees, etc.
The main goal of the government is to provide a favorable environment for investors looking at the Dubai real estate market.
Which are the most preferred areas of investment in Dubai?
Main focus of investments in Dubai real estate market has shifted from luxurious properties to economic ones. Less developed and slightly distant areas from the downtown have started attracting larger number of investors.
One of the most popular areas for international investments is Dubai Sports City. Sports City is a sports complex that's perfect for the most active people in Dubai.
Considering Dubai real estate market conditions and declining prices, a Dubai Sports City Apartment could result in up to 9.17% of rental returns annually. Price-wise, the value of the properties has declined over the past 6 months by 1.90%.
Next in popularity is Dubai Silicon Oasis. It has a pretty vibrant neighborhood too, complete with restaurants, supermarkets and more. With a rental yield of 8.66% YTD. This might also be the right opportunity to purchase a property here as prices have slashed by 3.58% over the past 6 months.
International City became one of the most attractive destinations due to its design – country-themed architecture. Despite being far from the downtown, this area remains a hotspot for investors.
Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) and Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT) are very well located – relatively close to Dubai Marina and downtown. Although these areas are still under development, they still attract investors with reporting 8.45% YTD rental yield.
Future Forecasting
Reckoning all favorable conditions for development, the population in Dubai is growing every year. According to the latest statistical data provided by GMI (Global Measures International), the total population of UAE is 9.54 million people, of which Emiratis 11.48%, Pakistanis 12.69%, Indians 27.49%, Filipinos 5.56%, Egyptians 4.23% and 38.55% of other nationalities.
Numerous projects, Expo 2020 and overall enhancement of Dubai economy will attract more expats and increase investments in Dubai real estate market.

SAN FRANCISCO: A Yemeni mother who was granted a waiver from President Donald Trump’s ban on travel from several Muslim majority countries has arrived in the US to say goodbye to her dying toddler son.
Shaima Swileh wore dark glasses as she walked into the arrivals terminal at San Francisco airport Wednesday night. A group of supporters carrying placards greeted her.
Her two-year-old boy Abdullah Hassan, a US citizen like his father, suffers from a rare genetic brain condition and is on life support in a hospital in Oakland, California.
But Swileh had been unable to join him due to Trump’s order barring visitors from six countries including Yemen.
After a tearful televised plea from the boy’s father prompted public outrage, the US embassy in Cairo issued a visa for Swileh, who has been living temporarily in Egypt.
After the waiver was granted, her husband, Ali Hassan, expressed relief and said, “This will allow us to mourn with dignity.”
Hassan said he had been ready to take his son off life support last week after doctors said the case was terminal, with his wife only receiving automated replies when inquiring with US authorities on her visa application.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations, which is assisting the family, launched a campaign that it said prompted 15,000 emails to elected officials as well as thousands of tweets.
Abdullah’s grandfather earlier told the San Francisco Chronicle that Swileh was crying every day as she wanted to see her son “one last time.”
“To hold him for at least a minute. She’s not going to see him forever,” he said.
Exceptions to Trump’s ban are exceedingly rare. The American Civil Liberties Union, which opposes Trump’s order, said that only two percent of applicants have been granted waivers.
Trump vowed during the 2016 campaign to ban all Muslims from entering the United States, despite constitutional protections of freedom of religion, after a mass shooting in California by a couple of Pakistani descent.
In an executive order that triggered chaos before court challenges and revisions, Trump blocked new visas to nearly all citizens of five Muslim-majority countries — Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen — as well as North Korea and some officials from Venezuela.
A divided Supreme Court in June upheld the ban, which it said was within the president’s powers.
