Just asking, but how do you feel about neonnova?

It's a'ight.

I like the aesthetics of it. Two object head dudes macking on each other is fun and funny, and their size difference definitely appeals to my biases. As just "these characters look nice next to each other” material, I like it. I too like to imagine that they sound like wine glasses clinking together when they try to “kiss.”

But I think a lot of concessions have to be made to their canon personalities to put them in a "healthy" relationship. I just personally believe that DJSS is too narcissistic to have a healthy relationship with anyone, romantic or otherwise. Y’all have heard how he talks to other people, right? I don’t think that would be any different with someone he’s in a relationship with, and I think that NJ isn’t the kind of person that would stay with someone that has so much contempt for other human beings.

And I’m sure you could write stories about DJSS overcoming this glaring character flaw, but I’m just not interested in DJSS for dramatic storytelling, so consequently, I’m not interested in how he handles his relationships beyond the surface level.

But, I'm not one of those clowns that thinks that a ship needs to be "healthy" or even make sense to justify its existence. You gotta remember, you’re talking to someone that shipped Pac & Watch because of 1 trailer where they stood next to each other for 10 seconds.

In other words, I do not take shipping seriously. If you like it, great. If you don’t, great. Policing people’s ships is nonexistent on my priorities list. Just have fun and don’t hurt anybody~

Yay~
