Edith gets a leather jacket and a motorcycle. Alan gets to wear Sam's terrible shirts.
The main action still takes place at Allerdale Hall, but it's the 1980s, not the 1880s.
Margaret, Pamela, and Enola get to (un?)live and take the places of Dwayne, Paul, and Marko.
It's impossible to make Lucille's whole deal more homoerotic, but that factor is definitely more in focus now.
