#xero says things#THEYRE DIFFERENT FLAVORS BUT LIKE#i can't stop thinking abt the post i just reblogged. nightmare saying 'you didn't kill your brother. i did.' makes me think of that post-#-about possession in the trans way. about killing your parents child to thrive on their flesh and build yourself anew.#whereas with eclipse#he's a trans metaphor in the way that he never got to be himself#where nightmare gained control over their life. eclipse /lost/ control over his life.#eclipse did not get to chose his face or his title or his purpose#eclipse only got to choose his name and he only chose it bc if he's a blend of sun and moon. what else can he be?#nightmare got to defy the villagers and bite back for the first time and taste the sweet relief of freedom#eclipse /still/ doesn't know true freedom. eclipse knows what he should be and has yet to grab ahold of it in it's entirety.#and well. they both make me absolutely derranged 👍#xero thoughts and rambles
