The yearly ritual of sacrificing my worst pair of pants for the earthdog dig out ✌
#two years in a row and two pairs of pants#earthdog isn't pike's game (she has an impulse control <3)#but I show up to drop on the ground and peer down tunnels#dig up a bunch of dirt/mud#and lift things before the folks who've had shoulder surgeries try and give it a go#(it's an old folks sport atm)#in return I get gently bullied to start my apprenticeship to become a judge (in a sport I have not played)#turnpike
