So...I don't talk much about my brother on here, but I need to so you all get hit with this text the same way I did.

My brother is the youngest, and one of two boys in the extended family, so my Aunts do give him a very very VERY hard time and a LOT of shit (my cousin is low function autistic so despite the fact that he's the oldest guy, the antiquated gender roles my aunts abide by get thrown onto my brother who has had eNOUGH of their shit).

So. They, for whatever reason, decided to invite themselves over for 4 o'clock coffee today under the guise of picking up my sister's old snowboard for my younger cousin. My brother is like I GOTTA LEAVE. I GOTTA GO. CAN I COME SEE YOU.

I live three hours away from him lmao.

So I tell him if there isn't anyone CLOSER he can hang out with then fine, sure, whatever, and this morning he is like I'M LEAVING NOW then goes nvm

And all day he's been messaging me like fuck. This sucks so bad. Fuck. Worst decision to not go see you.

And I'm thinking "it's not too late" but am also enjoying my weekend alone so I don't say that and instead, this is what happens:
