#but fr he struggles with like. fears of amber harming him or other catastrophic things#he knows she’d never and ofc it starts with reassurance#which is cute af idc she does show him exactly how gentle she can be and KISS HIM#it helps at first but when the fears come back she learns they both just have to like. ride that wave#and she won’t reassure him constantly but she will sit with him until he’s calmer#ofc!! no then again the first one isn’t reassurance it’s more like safe exposure#aha amber i’m afraid of being kissed by a giant i need exposure therapy#he has rituals too !! i think his lucky number is probably four#when borrowing stuff it drives him nuts if he gets three of one thing and has to grab one more no matter the risk#they do a little taptap- taptap type thing on each other’s hand/shoulder/face/back whatever as a lil check in/affectionate acknowledgment#etc etc#mf counts things. constantly#she’ll be picking berries and finish and he’ll look at her basket n add one more and she’ll be like???#mf you were counting that entire time#take a nap gotdamn#g/t#giant/tiny#cgtocs button#he gets stress headaches from obsessions a lot. disappear into her hand#she kinda lays on top of him/smooch him into pillow/lay her hand on him to Ground him
