Agatha Crowley was born into a wealthy and prestigious pure-blood family known for their diplomatic skills and trading. Her father always wanted a son to carry on the family name and legacy, but instead, he was disappointed to have a daughter. As a result, Agatha was neglected by her father and most of her extended family. Only her mother showed her affection and attention, taking care of her and even allowing her to play with muggle children in their neighborhood.

Agatha's childhood was rough due to her family's neglect and the bullying she experienced from muggle children because of her unnatural hair and eye color. To cope, she became rebellious and defiant, refusing to wear skirts and acting more like a boy to try and please her father.

Backstory

Born in Nova Scotia, Canada to immigrant muggle parents, Paisley grew up in a small fishing village just on the outskirts of a port city. Because of this, she spent many days on fishing vessels with her father and older brother, while her mother worked as a teacher at the schoolhouse in town. When she was eight, her mother fell gravely ill and unfortunately passed away from complications of scarlet fever. Her father, Pierre, often struggled to balance work obligations with raising Paisley and Mathieu, and more often than not her older brother was left responsible, which caused her to develop a great deal of independence.

Being from a non-magical family, Paisley's magic was a startling discovery. It revealed itself when, while arguing with her brother, she made a milk bottle spontaneously explode in frustration. The following morning, two members from the Ministry for Magic arrived, explained magical abilities to her and her family, and promptly enrolled her in the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

She was sorted into the Horned Serpent house, based on her high level of intelligence and ambitious, goal-oriented mindset.

Paisley excelled in her studies, her hunger for knowledge consistent, and while graduating from her fifth year she was recognized for her advanced magical comprehension. She was hand-selected by the Minster for Magic himself to take part in an accelerated graduate program at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, and with great excitement she transferred at the start of her sixth year. BIOGRAPHY

In the beginning of Wonderland, deep inside the forest, there existed a pond forever shrouded by mist. As clear as a sheet of glass, the pond reflected anything that looked into it. Small animals looking for succor, sentient beings seeking solace or solitude examining their reflections. Thoughts, emotions and secrets. The pond remembered it all, savoring and storing whatever the others poured into the water. When the world learned of mirrors, the pond took up a form better suited for its purpose. The Mirror of Mists (or is it Mist of Mirrors?) that is how the legend of Jabberwocky began.

At first, the Mirror was benevolent, or more so pure and apathetic. It simply showed whatever its beholders expected to see. But those who stared into the looking glass were not pure. The Mirror did not discriminate what it reflected. The ugly, the scary and the weird, the dark side of minds accumulated within the Mirror. Forever worth of evil, malice and negativity gathered and in the end, the Mirror was driven to madness. It no longer showed the pure reflection of those who looked into it; its fogged surface distorted and mutated the image, showing only monsters lurking in the mist.

That is how Jabberwocky was created. They are an eldritch collective of monsters within the Mirror of Mists or Mist of Mirrors. Within them exists a menagerie of monsters created by the evils, fears and madness of Wonderland. However, Jabberwocky did not have a sentience or sense of self until recently. Like mirrors, they only responded and reacted to external stimuli rather than acting on their own. Only when someone was foolish enough to look for them, Jabberwocky would drag them into the miring mist and erase the victims from existence.

It was only when a man named Stannislaw Kingsleigh slayed Jabberwock, the most powerful entity within Jabberwocky, they gained some semblance of personality. Stannislaw shattered the Mirror of Mists (or dispersed the Mist of Mirrors) and Jabberwocky in an attempt to repair themselves, consumed the severed hand of the man instead of making it disappear, gluing the shards together with flesh and blood and bone. Though this gambit pieced Jabberwocky back together, it irrevocably shaped them into a more human form, specifically resembling Stannislaw. 

Without their mighty dragon and a sudden shred of humanity within them, Jabberwocky set out to find the missing pieces. For the first time in their existence, they have a purpose: to be complete again. To do so, Jabberwocky is after Stannislaw who they believe is the only one who can help them repair themselves. Or perhaps the Mirror tasted blood for the first time and is addicted to it. Either way, Jabberwocky now walks among the denizens of Wonderland, though they are still ephemeral and obscure as they always have been. 

POWER

Jabberwocky is not a single entity but a collective of monsters born from the negative emotions of Wonderland. Their cores or essences are mirrors and mists. Their humanoid body or surface is built from the flesh and blood of Stannislaw Kingsleigh, but within them exist a myriad of monsters from the Mirror and Mist. 

Their current body, Jebediah, is merely a face they wear. When damaged, the body falls apart in glass and mist. The monsters within Jabberwocky and their current human body can be killed but it is unknown if Jabberwocky as a collective can die.

Inside the physical body of Jabberwocky exists its domain, the land of mirrors and mists where grotesque, nonsensical monsters roam free. They can either call forth these creatures from within or trap others inside his realm.

Their physical eyes are like mirrors and their breaths are like mist.

As an eldritch being of mirrors and mists, Jabberwocky can move through mirrors or reflective surfaces to teleport or hide. They can also turn their form into mist.

One can travel to Jabberwocky’s domain via walking into mirrors or other physical means (it exists as a pocket dimension of Wonderland).

They do not necessarily need to eat or sleep.

Jabberwocky themselves do not know how many monsters exist within themselves. But Jebediah represents and acts as the voice of the collective. In that sense, the monsters seem to have some kind of a hive mind.

Jabberwock: Jabberwock (not to be confused with Jabberwocky, the collective) was an eldritch dragon that served as the head of the collective. It was killed by Stannislaw and Jabberwocky had to repair themselves using the man’s severed hand.

Bandersnatch: A ferocious and extraordinarily fast beast with a long neck and sharp teeth. It resembles a large white dog whose jaws take up its entire face, with long necks and long legs. It hunts and kills those who enter the mist, or should they survive, drives them mad.

Jubjub Bird: A giant gray bird that always wears a top hat. Its scream can instill fear into those who hear it and even kill them from the fright.

Borogove: Not all creatures within Jabberwocky are dangerous. Borogove is a fluffy bird that resembles a parrot with its beak turned upward. It is pretty harmless.

Tove: Another harmless creature. A badger with horns of a stag that likes cheese.

Raths: Harmless tiny green pigs that hide in grass.

Snarks: A gaggle of unimaginable creatures that inhabit the domain of Jabberwocky. They come in all sorts of forms and shapes, mostly made of mist, but one thing they have in common; snarks make those who encounter them disappear. Jebediah just refers to unclassified monsters within them snarks.

HEADCANON

Jebediah refers to themselves as plural “we” and “us”, because they are a collective rather than an individual. Although Jebediah considers themselves a collective, the more they retain the human form, the more human and individual they are becoming. They sometimes slip up and refer to themselves as “I” and “me”.

He picked the name Jebediah Walker because it resembles Jabberwocky but also because Jebediah is possibly a mistranslation of the name Jedediah. They like the fact that there is a mistake in their name. The “M” in their name stands for mirror, mist, menagerie of monsters, mystery, madness, etc.

They do not like dark places, perhaps because of their nature as a mirror. Mirrors cannot reflect the lack of light itself.

Though they don’t need to eat, they can enjoy food and drink. After becoming more human, they also have developed the taste for blood.

They are fairly new to being a human but they understand humans and their cultures pretty well. They are to their core a curious creature, and will try anything at least once.

Everything goes awry, and now Tesla is left with a hurt Liliana and missing guildmates. Something more sinister is lurking in the dark, and it might be closer to Tesla than she originally thought…

As the one and only heiress to the Kurokawa family, an old lineage of shrine maidens, Ryo wasn't expected to be anything other than perfect: the perfect heiress whose perfect skills would soon serve to hide how much of an embarrassment her mere existence had brought onto the family.

Born to a single mother and with birth circumstances far from normal, there was always something unusual about her. After some time it was found out to be an illness: she simply had a weak heart. That was the entire reasoning behind her sometimes strange acting, the fainting and being sick. A weakness she could never get rid off and which would surely end her life way sooner than it should.

Her quiet yet somehow fulfilling life in the countryside only lasted for a few years. Things started to go wrong as she grew up: people getting sick, their shrine catching fire. Her grandfather dying. She wasn't ill, she was cursed.

Just as the Kurokawa family's one and only hope to regain their household's old status vanished and they started targeting Ryo as the root of all evil, her mother took the difficult decision to flee from their home, to leave everything behind and move with a father she didn't know a thing about but who could surely help them... or so she expected.

Ryo's father wasn't a kind man. He wasn't even a human and that suddenly brought a bizarre closure to everything she had been feeling for the past years: she wasn't cursed, she simply wasn't human. Not really a human and not really a vampire, but some sort of sick in-between.

After her mother was killed by her father time after that, everything spiralled down. Vampires were monsters and she didn't want to become one of them, no matter what. She seeked revenge against her father and was determined to do anything to get it.

With no family left to look after her, she found unexpected support in a boy slightly older than she was, who introduced himself as her brother. Her step brother on her father's side, even though the line started blurring soon after that, a vampire who also seeked revenge against the same man that had hurt her.

Time after that, a barely teenager Ryo decided to move back to Japan and start living on her own while trying to plot revenge against her father. Things worked out, somehow, as she tried to regain a human life that was forcefully taken away from her while dealing with grief and the aftermath of her non-human nature.

Years later, almost when she had grown used to being a "human" again, a certain incident forced her to move into a certain mansion where six vampires lived, pushing her back to the same situation she had lived as a kid: to keep herself alive, at all means. And to fight all the demons she had been trying to avoid for so long.
