Drag queen headcanon or au!

I can’t get the idea of sportacus, ithro, glanni and robbie in drag, with very beautiful makeup to fit them and dresses. After I saw a ficlet about glanni and robbie, I just can’t get it out of my mind, so here have this existing idea, because my brain wants to torture me with this and I love it.

Figuring out a drag name of Robbie took longer than I thought :0

And with this prompt, I am all done with my inbox!! I’m still not taking new prompts (as of 9/26/17) bc I’m working on long fics. But if I’m having a slow day I may open up to short prompts, like with those dialogue prompts I did a while back.

Just as Sportacus and Robbie left the craft shop (Sportacus’arms heavily ladened with Robbie’s purchases), a young man ran up behind them,shouting, “Mister! Hey!”

The couple turned around. The young man skidded to a stop infront of them. He held out a purple wallet to Robbie, “You left this on thecounter inside.” Robbie took the wallet with a word of thanks. Instead ofleaving after his good deed, the stranger stood there, staring at Robbie almostcritically. 

Robbie raised an eyebrow, “Did you expect a reward orsomething?”

“This is going to sound weird but do you ever go to Rosie’sBar? Maybe, all dressed up?”

Sportacus was taken aback by the question. He looked atRobbie, expecting him to be just as confused. On the contrary, Robbie lookedalmost afraid. “Sometimes…” Robbie said reluctantly.

“I knew it!” Theman grinned, “You’re Frosted Violet! I saw you last week, I loved your make up!”

The stranger praised Robbie up and down. Robbie wouldn’t lookat Sportacus, merely nodding and smiling as the man went on. Finally, afterRobbie gave him an autograph, the man left.

When the stranger was out of sight, Robbie turned on hisheel and marched up the street. He didn’t say a word to Sportacus as Sportacusjogged to catch up with him. “What was all that?” Robbie didn’t answer. He ledthem back into Lazytown proper and sat on a bench by the sport’s field.

Sportacus set the bags down beside the bench and sat next toRobbie. He took Robbie’s hand. “Why did that man think you were a drag queen?”

Robbie squeezed his hand, keeping his eyes fixed on hisshoes, “Because I am.” He plastered on a wide smile and said in a higher voice,“Frosted Violet! Your sweet flowerfrom the heart of Mayhem Town!” Thesmile fell and he let out a sigh. “I go to Rosie’s every Thursday night to…show off, I guess is the best way to put it. I also have a blog I take picturesfor. Nothing sexual, just… flirty.”

At last, he looked up at Sportacus. There was a grim line tohis mouth, like he expected to be yelled at for confessing all this. “I wasgoing to tell you, I promise. This just isn’t how I wanted you to find out.” Heglared back over his shoulder, “If I see that guy this week I’ll kick him forouting me in public.”

Sportacus used his free hand to tilt Robbie’s head back inSportacus’ direction. “I’m sorry that man said something before you wereready,” he began, “But you do not have to worry about me running away orwhatever bad thing you think I’m about to do.”

Robbie nodded in understanding but didn’t seem convinced.Sportacus scooted closer to lay his head on Robbie’s shoulder, “If you want, wecan go back to you place and you can show me that blog? That man seemed to likeyour make up and clothes. I would like to see what he was talking about.”

Robbie let go of his hand so he could wrap an arm aroundSportacus’ shoulders, “It would giveme a chance to show off. They’re amazing outfits.” He kissed the top ofSportacus’ head. “I’m glad it doesn’t bother you. You can’t imagine how nervousI was.”

“If there’s anything else you are nervous about telling me,just know that there isn’t much you could say that would make me leave. I’ll behere whenever you want to talk.”

“What did I do to deserve you?”

“You wooed me with your villain skills,” Sportacus joked.

“And now I will woo you with my drag skills!” Robbie jumped up from the bench, “Get the bags,Sportalove, it’s showing off time!”

Laughing, Frosted Violet and Sportacus made their way to thelair.

CXXXIX - Lead Role

Sportarobbie Fanfiction - The 139th Shortie

Warnings: None at all :)

Summary: The kids decide to put the Lazy Town theatre to use and plan to pull off a musical themselves!

Robbie sighs at the Sportacus running in circles, while Robbie himself eats an ice cream and enjoys the sun. The kids walk past, talking to each other passionately, almost bursting out of excitement.

Sportacus grins at the excited kids. “Hey, guys! What’s going on?” The kids all stop at Sportacus’s question, looking over to each other. They then nod with smiles, and Ziggy steps forward.

“We’re going to make a musical!” he exclaims. The other kids nod behind him. “Wait, hold on, hold on... You’re going to make a musical? The five of you?” Robbie questions disbelievingly, but the kids only smile and nod.

Sportacus smiles brightly: “That’s amazing, guys! What is it going to be about?” “Well, we were thinking that we would do our own adaptation of Alice in Wonderland - Alex in Wonderland. Pinky and I are the main writers, and Ziggy’s going to play Alex”, Trixie explains with a proud grin.

“But why does Ziggy get to play the lead role?” Stingy whines, “Shouldn’t I get the main part?” Everyone shakes their heads, and Stephanie tries to explain: “I mean, come on, Stingy. Look at Ziggy! Blond hair, blue eyes, small and innocent... He was born to play Alex!”

Stingy still pouts, and Stephanie grins at him. “And you know, Stingy, I think you can do way better than play just Alex. If you were to play him, you wouldn’t have time to play any other roles - you’d only have one single role.”

“Well, it is nice to have more roles...” “And, I was thinking that there’s a role that would really fit you... I think you’d prefer it over the peasant Alex.” Stephanie drags out her speech, choosing the perfect words to convince Stingy.

Stingy can’t stay patient any longer: “What is it? Tell me, tell me!” “The Queen of Hearts!” Stingy gasps: “The Queen? The Queen? Queen means royal! Royalty is perfect! I’ll get to be royal! Yes! I’ll be the Queen of Hearts!”

“And we’re going to have marionettes!” Pixel states with a grin. “Marionettes?” “Yeah! For some of the scenes, we’re gonna have marionettes which I’ll control.” Pixel demonstrates with his hands how he’s going to make the puppets dance, and the others laugh. “It’ll be awesome!”

“You know, we’re going to do it ourselves mostly, but we are going to need some help...” Stephanie looks over to Sportacus: “With building...” She looks over to Robbie: “Costumes...” Stephanie pauses but then continues, still looking at Robbie: “Makeup, composing, making the marionettes...” Robbie rolls his eyes with a sigh: “Of course you need me for the most of them.”

“We’re just so excited! It’s gonna be amazing!” “Have you asked the mayor if you can use the theatre?” Sportacus asks, smiling along with the kids with the same enthusiasm. “Yup, Uncle Milford said it’s fine!” “Well, that’s great! Tell us when you begin rehearsals or when you need us.”

Because I’m STILL not over  Eurovision...this is what I think Robbie, Sport, Ithro, and Glanni were like during Eurovision this year

*Sportacus likes whatever he can dance and exercise to, which usually means he prefers faster songs or songs with a beat. He liked the songs from Moldova, Norway, Greece, Israel, Cyprus, Macedonia, Latvia, etc. Also, he could NOT stay still while watching the contest, and it drove Robbie up the wall. His favorite is actually Austria though, because it’s so positive sounding and has a nice message. The kids catch him singing it (or trying to) sometimes.

*Robbie on the other hand, doesn’t like the songs that have so much noise or a lot going on. He actually favored Portugal, since that song was so calm and relaxing compared to the rest, ...and Robbie is a guy who constantly wants to RELAX. Being a big softie, the song also made him feel quite emotional on the first listen and he actually cried. He also liked Belgium, Australia, the UK, Poland,  and Finland. Generally, he’s more into ballads than he is into dance music.

*Ithro actually doesn’t really pay attention to or care about Eurovision as much as the other three, but he usually gets dragged into watching it with them anyway. To him, most of the songs all sound pretty much the same to him, so he usually prefers whatever stands out the most compared to your usual ballad or dance music, which to him, were songs like, Romania, Portugal, Croatia, Austria, Belarus, Ukraine, etc. But honestly, he only half-paid attention and didn’t even vote. 

*Glanni is the most into Eurovision out of all of them and is a total freak for it. He’s the one that keeps screaming at the TV when they watch and he gets the most heated over the results. His tastes are a little similar to Sportacus’s. He likes things with a beat, the kind of music that you would hear at a nightclub. The more modern and synthetic the song, the better. He probably gave his 12 points in the final to someone like Azerbaijan. He also really liked Sweden, Norway, Israel, Macedonia, and Latvia. He was also hugely into Montenegro, like the flamobyant trash he is. 

All of them liked Iceland this year for obvious reasons. They were all disappointed about not qualifying this year- ESPECIALLY Glanni. He got really invested in Svala and Svala was pretty much his queen, but Europe let him down. 

Robbie and Ithro were pretty satisfied with Portugal’s win this year, but Glanni had a hissy fit.  

Robbie and Glanni ended up getting into an arguement afterward about whether or not he deserved it and who should’ve won. Ithro got frustrated because he thought both were overreacting, while Sportacus was like

I just spent some time looking at drag queen dresses and thinking about the characters from lazytown robbie and sportacus and the play glanni and ithro

All four in drag queen dresses the two blue are one’s I believe sport would wear, cause he likes to move xD the orange and gold one’s for ithro and the purple one is for robbie and red for glanni. Omg what is going on with me.

CXL - Spicy Melodies

Sportarobbie Fanfiction - The 140th Shortie

Warnings: None :)

Summary: The musical the kids are working on is starting to get on nicely. It’s time to compose the songs, and so Stephanie and Pixel have decided to get Robbie to help them out a little bit.

Robbie sighs as Stephanie drags him to Pixel’s house where Pixel is waiting for them, setting up his piano. Stephanie is also bringing her light pink ukulele with her to help them compose the songs for their musical - Alex in Wonderland.

“Hey, Stephanie! Hi, Robbie! Great that you made it.” Robbie groans: “I didn’t really have a choice, did I?” Stephanie shakes her head with a smile, and Robbie chuckles at her.

“So, how’s the script?” Pixel asks, while still plugging the electric piano in and setting everything up. “Oh, it’s almost done. Trixie’s now just fixing it up, doing final touches and correcting mistakes we’ve missed. Though, the scene with the Cheshire Cat is still a question mark. I decided to trust her with it since she’s going to play the Cat anyway.”

“So you’ve done the casting already?” Robbie asks, genuinely getting interested. Stephanie smiles: “Yup! Obviously, Ziggy’s Alex, Stingy’s the Queen of Hearts, and Trixie’s the Cheshire Cat. Then Stingy’s also going to be Tweedle-Dee and the Caterpillar, and Trixie’s Tweedle-Dum and the March Hare. I’ll be the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter.”

Robbie furrows his brows: “So Pixel doesn’t play anything?” Pixel shrugs: “Well, depends on how you think of it. I’ll be handling all of the marionettes, but nah, I won’t be on stage at any point.” “Well, do you have the marionettes ready?” “No, but we’ve been making them. Sportacus helped us.” “So that’s where he went...”

Stephanie gets out her notebook to remember all the things she and Trixie agreed on. Pixel gets out a pen and paper to write down everything they come up, and Robbie watches from the side as Stephanie starts explaining.

“So, our priorities are songs for the beginning, for the tea party, for the Queen, for the crying scene, and for the ending. We might also have a song for the Caterpillar and the Tweedles. And if we come up with some other things, we can add that in.”

They begin with the song for the beginning of the musical. Apparently, Stephanie has already thought of the song and made up melodies in her head. Stephanie and Pixel huddle together to think about the lyrics, and Robbie stares at them.

“So why am I here again?” Stephanie throws her gaze to Robbie. “Because we’re not composers.” “Well, neither am I!” Stephanie rolls her eyes with a smile: “But being several decades older than us, I assume you have much more experience than us, so you can help.” “Okay, first of all, kid, I’m not that old...”

Pixel and Stephanie sing and play to each other the ideas they have, changing them up, adding and changing lyrics, and high-fiving each other whenever they come up with the perfect melodies. There’s one thing they can’t decide on, though.

“Hey, Robbie.” “Yeah?” Pixel clears his throat: “We’re not sure which one sounds better, so could you tell us your opinion?” “Sure, go ahead.”

Stephanie plays the chords on her ukulele, while Pixel backs up her singing with the piano: “Hey now, my child, what is the matter? Hey now, my child, what seems to be wrong? You might not believe it, but it’ll get better. And you don’t have to do it on your own.”

Stephanie sings it twice, with the melody slightly different, and Robbie listens carefully. He nods, tilting his head from side to side.

“I have a feeling the first one is a good base, but I think you can do better than that as well. Make it more interesting. Give it a little spice.” Pixel and Stephanie both furrow their brows. “How do we do that?” Robbie sighs, trying to think of how to explain it.

“Well... try doing something surprising. Something that no one was expecting, not even you. Suddenly the singing goes really low or really high or starts going back and forth or something. Break patterns. Surprising things stay in people’s memories a lot better, and that includes melodies that had a surprising twist.”

Pixel and Stephanie nod, getting straight back to work on the song. They occasionally turn to Robbie, asking him to simply list everything that rhymes with a specific word, then waiting for a fitting word to come up. They then just turn back around shouting “Thanks, Robbie!” and getting back to work again.

It starts getting late, and at the end of the day, the have one song completed, and about half of the songs have some sort of a base to work on. Robbie sighs as he looks at the time.

“You know kids, Sportaflap probably wants you to be going to bed already. And he probably wants me home by now too. He always complains that he can’t sleep before he knows I’m safe...” Stephanie grins: “Aww, that’s so sweet!” “Yeah, yeah, now go home before your uncle gets worried.”
