like here's the thing . crowley and aziraphale are a. more subtle tragedy. it's not something any human can really conceptualize, though we sure fucking try, and that makes it beautiful in its own way. but stan, ford, and fiddleford's tragedy is so much more human. it's something that can really happen, and has happened to real life people (though without the mystical bill element). humans grow up. siblings drift apart. families fight. people die on the streets every fucking day. people drive themselves insane with their own thoughts. people die before they can settle their loose ends, because life is not fair. this all happened because of one being too damn poisonous and a set of twins acted like people, which they paid for with their lives. stan and ford were condemned to a miserable existence because life isn't fair. they didnt get to resolve their issues, or stop bill, or even say "i'm sorry" before they were sentenced to a perpetual chase across dimensions, but they still won against the big bad at the end of the day out of sheer stubborness. they still won. and i think with the current state of the world it's important to remember that
