#don't rely on looking up a youtube video to teach you how to do emergency first aid

Alright I understand that it's counterintuitive to have ads before first aid videos, but if you call emergency services (911 in the US) the operators are trained to walk you through emergency first aid by phone specifically
Like if it's an issue of not being able to afford the hospital or an ambulance the injured person can refuse that. But it would be faster and better to just call 911 and talk to a person trained to tell you how to perform emergency first aid than to try and look up the right youtube video for the situation and hope it's accurate. You can't ask a video clarifying questions and it can't send you emergency medical professionals in the meantime
@youtube how about you make your own first aid videos or emergency videos that show up first when searched like sponsored posts and make it so those specific videos have no ads???
#when I dislocated my knee my mom was panicking#and emergency services asked a few questions#told her I was in shock (which I was)#and told her exactly what to do to help me until first responders showed up#they're trained for that#don't rely on looking up a youtube video to teach you how to do emergency first aid#when an actually trained person is available for free immediately by phone
