i feel like at some point we r going to have to talk about the culture where you all pick a POC of the month and then. relentlessly objectify them. im just saying I think some people could do with being slightly more self-examining about how they talk about nonwhite celebrities... like treating a talented professional as a sex object, literally only being capable of caring about one nonwhite person at a time, wanting a pat on the back for finding someone who isn't white attractive etc
