Saw some tags on one of my post about how Barber is unappreciated and that's true!!!!! In the wider fandom, but no here!!! Not on my blog. I run this thing to write words and words to explain why I like his comics so much. I'm exRID/OP's #1 apologist. I bought the original inks for the last oage of Optimus Prime. I'm here to explain to people why The Most Hated Optimus is actually a phenomenal take on his character under Barber. I gotta make you all understand that IDW1 Arcee is the best Transformers character ever written. The political plots, the way humanity sees the Transformers, breaking the cycle of violence, the world we're leaving to the new generations, the Cybertronian history of violence. It's all so thematically tight. Aileron, Thundercracker, Prowl, Bumblebee, Starscream, Pyra Magna, Shockwave etc they're all hits. I need you all to understand. That's the mission statement.
