#don't get me wrong for like 2/3 of this season was loving Caityln as a character but the finale just felt so lackluster for her#like woo yay she fought Ambessa!! ok well maybe Ambessa wasn't ACTUALLY the main thing I wanted Caitlyn to fight#I wanted her to fight her assumptions and biases and her belief system about the Righteousness of Piltover vs the Criminality of Zaun ok#maybe I wanted her to fight her own flawed beliefs Arcane!!!#like who CARES if she actually fought Ambessa in the end as long as she realized her own beliefs and desire for revenge were weaponized#against people who didn't deserve it

like I don't know. perhaps in the spirit of Jayce going to the Undercity to fight Silco and feeling like a hero, the only one willing to act, only to immediately get an innocent kid killed in the crossfire - Caitlyn should have been more tied to Isha and her death
