An American writing about her own life in America is different from anyone else writing about her own life in any other country because...? I know there are a lot of them and their discussions of countries can drown out posters from those countries just trying to blog in English about their life, but... how is that meant to be her problem?

And then, this is an American site? Lamenting the amount of Americans on here is like wondering why almost everyone posting on RedNote is Chinese, and you mostly see (approved or tolerated) Chinese opinions about (a certain subset of) Chinese goings-on there. At some point if you want to use their app you've got to let them have their fun and curate your feed like a big girl.

What did anon want this poor girl's Tumblr to be about, the labour violations of the Venezuelan cacao industry? The 2020 uloq championship in an obscure Bukharan village? The Byzantine political machinations of a Hasidic sect no one has heard of, whose rival heirs are respectively a podcast grifter with a hedge fund and a deranged but soulful man who secretly blogs for 5 hours a day on here about Sailor Moon? I would also read all of those, but who's paying her for the writing and the research?

Why would one even ask her this — to buffalo her into talking about everyone's issues but hers? Why couldn't anon go to those blogs to read about those problems?

Just block and look for the things you want to read then, yeesh. The audacity on some people.
