Mangle’s vulpine head rests in Daniella’s lap. The endo-head can keep a lookout for now - let her just take a break from the constant daytimes spent being torn apart, from the constant nighttimes spent hunting for prey.

Because, truth be told, she likes it when reapers come to the pizzeria. Yes, it means that something has gone wrong, that someone has died in its walls (maybe killed by Mangle or another animatronic, maybe killed by someone who should not be here) -

But still, the reapers respect the robotic entities for what they really are, and as Daniella gently pets her head, she’s reminded that Dani is the best of the bunch.

Her good eye looks up, and for once, Mangle’s mangled grin is more akin to an actual smile.

“Thank you. I wish more people were like you.”
