I'm only at the start of the show way before the reveal of the implications of Chariot's show and tbf its been a while so I don't quite remember so this could all end up being meaningless but? If Ursula knows Akko attended her show I really do feel that it would've been the responsible thing to do to let not only Akko, but the staff know that that's the reason she's struggling so much with magic. Like, it's constantly commented upon by the teachers that they've never seen anyone struggle this badly before, and since magic in this universe is a feat anyone can do (which is why Chariot's show was so devastating even if most wouldn't ever try) I feel like with how hard Akko's working and how badly she wants to succeed that should have been an indication that something was wrong

At the very least Principal Holbrooke obviously does know that Ursula used to be Chariot, but given that she hires Croix I don't think she knows exactly why she stopped the shows, so Ursula and Diana are the only ones who would be able to make the connection between Akko's lack of magical ability and her having attended the show.

Speaking of Diana! I feel like she'd be very likely to figure things out if she tried, but she's initially mostly indifferent to Akko, like at most she's jealous and a bit confused whenever she pulls off something big despite her general incompetence in day to day magic and? I feel like even if she figures it out, having been in the same predicament she might think that telling her that wouldn't matter given that she knows she just has to keep trying, and that it's 100% possible for her to get her magic abilities back

Anyway I truly can't help but feel extra bad for Akko when I know that it isn't that she has like, a natural ineptitude or that she isn't trying, she's genuinely dealing with a huge handicap no one seems to be aware of or willing to speak up about and... Yeah it makes me really happy to know that she does overcome it in a huge way- I LOVE her metamorphosis spells and how she made it her specialty, her awkward transformations are so charming and so very Akko that I feel like even when she's capable of making them flawless she might just choose to keep it as her signature style, they're so fun!
