rly wish ppl weren't so weird ab throuples & triads like...

here I am desperately wanting to be in an open triad & I just have to sit there & nod along while ppl talk shit like.

yes, unicorn hunters are bad.

yes, closed triads can be unhealthy.

no, closed rships rnt inherently more unhealthy, not even triads. sure. in polyam ANY closed relationships /can be/ unhealthy but that's bc ANY relationship can be unhealthy. monogamous, polyamorous, or anything in between.

no. triads being hard work doesn't automatically make them bad. or harder than every other dynamic. bc many kinds of rship dynamics r hard work. sometimes hard work is like working out. it builds to something better. the important factor is if it KEEPS BEING hard work, if it never gets easier, if it's never easy at all that's when things are bad. & again. that isn't unique to throuples!

I just feel like ppl get so weird & turned off & judgey when I say I want to be in a throuple/triad, even other polyam ppl, even ppl I'm not pursuing at all, & idgi
