idk ppl dont have to. the word is escaping me but uh ppl dont have to rationalize so hard to view project moon in a good light? yeah this kind of attacks(arguing that someone should be fired cause they might be feminist) happened a lot of time since like 2015. Many companies submitted to those absurd requests. But some, albeit not that many, just ignored them and guess what? they were totally fine. their games still sell. even they were not that big of a company. it's not that much of a "it's not pm's fault. it's just that they can't ignore the general Korean atmosphere(?)." situation. they made a shitty decision they didn't have to make. they contributed to making another shitty precedent.
I guess ppl are wary of being judgmental cause it's a foreign issue & there is a language barrier and I do understand that but. pm is absolutely at fault here. yes the trolls are the initial problem but pm chose the worst fucking possible option to that. I'm not saying that you should quit the game right now or anything it's just... you dont have to try to understand pm's perspective. it's just an extremely cowardly move. that's it. they're not just some helpless victim of kr misogyny who didn't have any other choice.
and re: the trolls showing up at their office thing, if pm thought firing the artist would make them not do that again, they are simply stupid sorry. pm showed the trolls that if you go to their office directly they will agree to do anything you say. firing the artist cant be the solution in this situation. they will show up at pm's doorstep again as soon as next minor inconvenience arises, I can bet on it.
