Alice Eweida is the CEO of Pandia Health (which includes Pandia Medical Group and Pandia Pharmacy) with over 20 years of experience. She took the reins during its seed stage and joined at a time of significant growth as the organization expanded into multiple service categories, adding menopause and developing AI that guides doctors to personalize prescribing medication to best serve the individual patient’s needs.
Prior to Pandia Health, Alice led growth and brand marketing at several Series B digital health startups leveraging telemedicine for wellness, nutrition, diabetes and substance use care. Notably, she grew Boulder Care to approximately 5,000 patients and took DayTwo through a rebrand and expanded their care program from providers to mid-sized employers and national and regional payers. At Foodsmart (formerly Zipongo), she established their B2B2C enrollment and engagement programs, growing its user base to 950,000 through an employee benefits program with Fortune 500 companies, including Disney, Google, IBM and United Healthcare.
Alice spent four years at Google where her team launched Google Home, the first device with a voice-activated assistant built in, and was responsible for the integration with YouTube Red. Additionally, she spent time in their sales department to help grow advertising investments for global brands in the beauty and media sectors across Google Search, Google Display, YouTube and Google’s Marketing Platform.
Earlier in her career, Alice led product marketing at Sky TV, now a division of Comcast, for Sky Go on mobiles, tablets and games consoles. Prior to that, she was part of Vodafone’s Marketing Graduate Program. Alice holds an MA from the Oxford College of Marketing and a BA in English Language and Media Studies from the University of Birmingham in England.

Our original intention and starting point: ten years of accumulation
Teebub settled and registered in Hong Kong in 2014. In this maze-like city, it’s like a seedling taking root in the soil. Boulder - Avengo
I have decided to look at Avengo's method of displaying their work to se how methods differ over the industry. Similar to DPI this project focused on branding and digital assets such as website.
Hero image
I like how they have placed a mock-up with an asset at the start of the page to show how the brand would look in real life settings. Furthermore, by including the main aim of the project (Brand and website design) they are succinctly telling the audience what they will see in the project.
Brand identity
Similar to DPI they started by including information about the brand's guidelines. However, Avengo used this section to show how they have made it adaptable by changing the colours, as they designed the brand. I like how this celebrates the brand design instead of glossing over it.
Marketing assets
I was slightly confused when they placed marketing assets after the brand guidelines as I felt this was not a key parr of the project when it was introduced as a brand and web design project. Therefore, I think these assets would be more useful near the end as they show how the website and brand as a whole would reach the target audience. Instead of creating the current narrative of a website being created to be used because they created marketing assets.
App mockups
Although I like how they have showcased multiple app pages using different mock-ups, I found DPIs method of using a carousel made the narrative of the app easier to follow. Having the images placed in a grid format made it slightly confusing on how I would jump between the pages. Whereas by using the carousel DPI has made it easy to see how I would reach different page.
Website mockup
Unlike the app, where they showed most pages, the website only shows 102. I found this disappointing as it was presented as a web design project. I was also confused as the website mostly focused on the app.
Following this I can conclude that the main method industry professionals use to present their project sis by using mock-ups to place their designs in a real life setting. However, I will need to be careful on how I describe the project. By describing it wrong such as a marketing project instead of a web design project, I could confuse the viewer which could destroy the illusion of it being a viable project.

What in the World…
I’m going to say something very difficult for me to say: I’m going through tough financial times, and I have been since January. I know I’m not the only one. But as someone who laughed at recessions and chose not to participate, this feels like a swift kick in the pants. To add insult to injury, my grandfather recently passed away, and that still falls under the category of fresh, open wounds. It’s become unbearable, so I’m breaking the silence. It’s not like I’ve given up. Every day I wake up to do something to better my situation. I’ve been reaching out to past collaborators and clients, applying to remote work, cold calling, app testing, micro work, publishing to Medium, setting up sales funnels, and putting things up for sale. Maybe it’s not the worst thing in the world, but at this rate, I may end up selling most things I own, save for a couple of guitars. I believe in giving, and I’ve even been giving of myself in every dimension – money, time, and energy. But the dam is not breaking. Though I’m choosing not to dwell on it, I’ve had the rug pulled out from under me more times than I can count this year. Naturally, this has impacted my ability to continue with the podcast in the desired capacity, though I’ve been doing everything I can to secure a sponsor. Friends, I will keep chiseling away at this boulder, but I don’t know what it’s going to take or for how long. So, I’m doing something else that I rarely do (even though I should maybe do it more): I’m asking for your help.

Diving into the World of Quantum Computing A quantum computer could be a game-changer. Such machines exploit the strange behavior of atoms to process information more quickly and accurately than digital computers can, speeding up drug discovery and development, cracking encryption, revolutionizing financial markets modeling and simulations, enabling faster machine learning, developing revolutionary materials and even helping us address climate change.
These aren’t fanciful predictions; they’re already beginning to play out, albeit on a smaller scale. Investment dollars are pouring in, and quantum-computing technology viewer website start-ups are proliferating. Major technology companies, including IBM, Google and Microsoft, are racing to develop their quantum capabilities. And scientists like those at CU Boulder are working hard to design qubits, the fundamental building blocks of quantum computers.

St Luke’s has created a new campaign highlighting the range of African destinations accessible from Heathrow Airport.
Breaking on 30th May, the campaign features three executions using the simple, streamlined symmetry of flightpaths to trace a direct link between Heathrow and destinations including Cairo, Cape Town and Nairobi. It will run across digital out of home, digital display, social and print nationally until mid-July.
Each advert features the flight path and terrain from Heathrow to the destination. For Cairo and Luxor, it is traced in the footsteps of a couple enjoying the desert view. For Cape Town, the tracks of people strolling down Boulder Beach, and for Nairobi and Johannesburg, two offroad vehicles carve out the flight path while on safari.
This latest work builds on the new strategy launched in January to position Heathrow as the UK’s best-connected airport and the perfect launch pad for the very best trips, wherever they may be. The first campaign highlighted the accessibility of ski destinations.

Coursera Coach gives learners access to a virtual coach, powered by generative AI, that can answer questions and share personalized feedback. Coach will be able to provide quick video lecture summaries and resources, such as a recommended clip, to help learners better understand a specific concept. Over time Coach will also support learners with career guidance and interview prep. Coursera will start rolling out Coach to its learner population over the coming months.
AI-assisted course building
Based on a few simple prompts from a human author, the course-building tool will use generative AI to quickly auto-generate course content, such as overall course structure, descriptions, tags, readings, assignments, glossaries, and suggestions of relevant public content already on Coursera that could be included. This tool will be available through a pilot to select educator partners later this year.
Coursera is also deploying machine learning-powered translation at scale to make learning on Coursera more accessible to learners across the world. Over the coming months, thousands of course readings, lecture video subtitles, quizzes, assessments, peer review instructions, and discussion prompts across 2,000+ courses will be translated from English into Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Portuguese, Thai, and Indonesian.
As of Q1 2023, more than 35 million registered learners on Coursera are in countries with these seven languages as the official language.
Coursera Hiring Solutions to connect learners with jobs
Broadband connectivity, online learning, and remote work opportunities are unlocking new ways for skilled individuals to participate in the global economy, regardless of their location or prior experience. Increasingly, employers are considering skills-based hiring to address talent shortages and boost their workplace diversity. The company has already launched the solution in India to learners and a select number of employers, with plans to expand to the U.S. in the coming months.
