There is a hint of surprise in seeing one of the (cuter) allies from Elyos, but he is far from the first ally she has reunited with across the sea. Still, the ability to avoid the need for additional introductions is much appreciated. Even moreso when the red cloth equipped on Rosado's person is what drives Citrinne to speak with the retainer now.

"no problem, lapis is safe with me." and then, partly because it's true and partly to end up on her good side, with a bit more animation: "and since she's really, really strong and all, i bet she won't have a single problem in the games."

eyes asparkle a little as sincerity bleeds in because he can't totally help himself ; he believes in lapis more than just about anything or anyone else.
