they were almost everywhere, now. they appeared every once in a while, in her path as she walked or in the places she frequented. sometimes they even appeared at the border of the beyond, although she figured that was simply a mistake (she did go there a lot, to be fair). but anyway, that didn’t change the fact that they existed in the same space as her, and she knew who was leaving them behind.

tonight, anastasia stood glancing around her, the rain pouring down and bathing her in its red hue. she had an umbrella, sure, but figured that she was bloody already, so why did it matter?
