#derek's final bow at moulin rouge: july 30

• July 30, 2023 - Derek, Jojo Levesque, Maya Bowles, and Sarah Bowden all took their final bows at 'Moulin Rouge'. Each of them embarked on new exciting journeys in their lives and continued on with their respective career paths as an actor, actress, dancer, singer, teacher and including an author!

Several months later, all of us got surprise news that Derek would be returning to the stage again at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Derek reprised his role as Christian from February 6th to July 21st alongside Courtney Reed as Satine. Following their run, Jojo took over the role of Satine, performing alongside Aaron Tveit as Christian from July 23rd to October 13th, marking their final performances.
