Miami Beach Is Breaking Up With Spring Break
An ad campaign by the popular spring break destination says visitors can expect curfews, beach closures and arrests for drug possession.
Miami Beach is telling spring break travelers to party somewhere else this year. The longtime spring break destination has released an ad campaign urging visitors to rethink their travel plans if they plan to drink in public or get rowdy. “This isn’t working anymore,” the ad begins. “And it’s not us, it’s you.” “Our idea of a good time is relaxing on the beach, hitting up the spa or checking out a new restaurant,” speakers in the ad continue. “You just want to get drunk in public and ignore laws. Do you even remember what happened last March? That was our breaking point. So we’re breaking up with you.”
While the city has created marketing campaigns in the past to educate spring break visitors about local laws and promote public safety, it decided to take a more direct approach with this latest campaign.
The campaign started in the beginning of February and will continue through March 31, she said. The city typically sees spring break visitors arrive in March, peaking over two consecutive weekends. Police made 573 arrests in Miami Beach during last year’s spring break period and confiscated more than 100 guns.
Whether Miami Beach successfully deters spring breakers this year may depend on how much exposure the campaign receives and how many travelers have already made their plans.

Please let today not be a day of bad calls at the bank call center, please no one calling in screaming bc they didn't bother to know whether they had a fixed or variable rate mortgage when they bought their million dollar home with money they made just by already having money to throw around, please nobody who complains loudly how little they know about technology but then doesn't let me tell them anything, please nobody who's mad I can't make an exception to the rules of account ownership for their child/spouse or that I can't just take their word for it they have power of attorney for their elderly relative without any confirmation that anyone ever saw the documentation or that they need to go in person to reset their PIN or they left Canada without knowing the US doesn't have interac or I can't legally just yank money out of their account to pay their landlord through a system intended for currency exchange or they can't have their e transfer limit raised to 5000 dollars if their cheque cashing limit is like $75 or getting pissy at me for verifying the payee and account to withdraw from when I'm paying their bills for them or raging out that their online banking is locked bc fraud or knowingly writing bogus cheques and then getting mad when they get demarketed or...

Must Read: Obidients/Zikists (6th columnist & 4th Estate) are at war with the Yoruba race.
Tumblr media
The Obidient Agenda Against the Oodua (Yoruba) Race 5th columnists are the agents, gatekeepers, permanent puppet of the WEST (Anglozionist empire) used for decades to torment the area called Nigeria. During the last election, we saw the halving of the 5th columnist into the 6th Obidient in other words Zikist idealogy. They have been the underdogs of our existential threat since as far back as the 18th century. An example of their 4th estate of the realm is AriseTv and their Major propaganda army created on social media to impose their ideology on the rest of us. They failed massively in the last election, they are not backing down. They always fail in the end but we all need to be aware of the enemy and traitors within. The pathway of the Obidient/Zikists to Aso rock is easy to decode. They must turn the Yoruba people against Tinubu before Peter Obi or any of their candidates can emerge as the president. The Northwest and North East are almost impossible for them to infiltrate politically and religiously, so they have focused their propaganda and political machinery against the second most powerful voting bloc in Nigeria which is the Southwest via the following tactics: - They continue to harass and cyberbully Yoruba Christian religious leaders who refuse to join them in their political Christianity agenda against Tinubu. - They continue to ridicule and insult Yoruba women and praise Yoruba men for destroying the fabric of the Southwest family. How can people praise your men and hate; and denigrate your women and you think they mean well to you? Was it not Yoruba women that gave birth and nurtured Yoruba men? - They continue to create an illusion that Yoruba people are poor and backward to make Yoruba people feel worthless and useless. This is why only an accused Yoruba man or woman will be in the Obidient camp politically. - They continue to open fake online accounts with Yoruba names and spread false news and narratives against Yoruba people to create an impression that it is cool for Yoruba people to destroy their lands and people for a hostile takeover by Peter Obi and his fellow fascists;. - They continue to rubbish the greatness of past Yoruba leaders like Soyinka, Fashola, etc and praise failures like Alex Otti who cannot tie the shoes of Seyi Makinde when it comes to administration. They must demarket your leaders and make their people look important so that they can replace your leadership with theirs. - Continually insulting Yoruba people along religious lines to make Yoruba people implode from within for a political takeover of YORUBALAND. Obidient movement is built on Yoruba hate and the plan to annihilate the Yoruba civilization within Nigeria via political and propaganda for Igbo power and supremacy to be built. The Minorities from the old Midwest region especially joining this hate campaign are doing it thinking they will inherit Yoruba lands in the eastern section of the West and our kinsmen like the Olukumis and Itsekiris. Obidients/Zikists are at war with the Yoruba race. Read the full article

By • Olalekan Fagbade JUST IN President Tinubu orders massive fixing of Federal roads across the Country President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered a massive rehabilitation of dilapidated federal roads across the country. The roads include the Makurdi-Nsukka 9th Mile, East West road, Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Benin bypass, collapsed bridges of Enugu-Port Harcourt road, collapsed bridges of Shandam-Plateau, Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano and Gombe- Bauchi roads, among others. Umahi, in a statement, noted that despite inheriting N6 trillion deficit in road infrastructure, President Tinubu is determined to confront the challenges. He said besides practical steps taken since the assumption of office in May, the President has approved a 2023 supplementary budget of N300 billion for the Ministry of Works. This comprises N100 billion for immediate palliative works in 36 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and N200 billion for the continuation of critical road projects. According to him, the President urged the public to track the projects and give appropriate feedback to the government. The government urged Nigerians to report any road that is poorly constructed anywhere in the country. They are to send photographs of the road, location and name of the contractor to 08030986263, 08037086137 and 08106423197. Umahi said: “Without prejudice to all the good efforts of the past administration on road infrastructure development which they tackled within the limit of their resources, the work to be done to change the ugly state of our roads is quite enormous. “Mr. President is not complaining of the challenges he inherited in nearly all sectors of the economy, especially as it concerns our road infrastructure, but he is quite courageous as he had promised to tackle the problems head-on which he has started to do not minding the debt burden inherited especially the funding gap of over N6 trillion from most of the inherited on-going road projects. “Mr. President has since reeled out plans of commitment, consistency, and innovations towards actualising a sustainable road infrastructure development throughout the country.” Umahi said the President has directed that the palliative works must commence before Friday. Calling for support, the minister said: “It is the right of every Nigerian to have value for their money deployed to the road infrastructure sector and therefore must show both interest and passion in all the ongoing projects by the Federal Ministry of Works and FERMA, and indeed all projects of the Federal, State and Local governments. “The Federal Ministry of Works will document such complaints sent by Nigerians, verify and take effective action to correct such infractions. “The Federal Ministry of Works shall also periodically recognise publicly those who made such reports that are genuine in a public engagement forum to be hosted quarterly by the Federal Ministry of Works and will sanction such erring contractors publicly too.” On concrete road criticisms, the minister said: “Those who are complaining and demarketing this policy are simply those who do not wish Nigeria well. “They are the same people that use adulterated bitumen in their projects while putting pressure on our Naira through the importation of adulterated bitumen instead of developing our abundant God-given bitumen deposits in Ondo State and other parts of Nigeria. “Insofar as this new policy has not violated any law, the Federal Ministry of Works is forging ahead with this new policy. “As of today, most of the ongoing projects are with asphalt pavement in line with this new policy while some are redesigned on concrete pavement, depending on the terrain and with a full understanding of the affected contractors of those projects.” While warning contractors handling Federal Government road projects to adhere strictly to the new road policies, Umahi said the government would not tolerate a breach of contract.

ASUU slams report on alleged AAU academic fraud
Tumblr media
The Academic Staff Union of the University of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Chapter has slammed the Special Intervention Team for its claim that it uncovered academic fraud in the school. The SIT had alleged that 30 students schooling abroad had graduated from AAU due to the marking of their examination script by lecturers of the university The chairman of the ASUU chapter, Dr Cyril Onognosele, described the allegation as an illusion while calling on SIT’s spokesperson, Austin Osakwe to publish names, courses, departments, and years of graduation of the students in question as well as details of the lecturers involved in the alleged academic fraud. He said the actions of the SIT were demarketing the institution, stating that the SIT was cooking up all these allegations in a bid to extend its tenure that ended in March. Onognosele said, “In presenting SIT’s progress report to the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Austin Osakue claimed that SIT had uncovered academic fraud in the University. Further, he alleged that over 30 students schooling overseas had graduated from AAU, Ekpoma due to the marking of their examination answer scripts by lecturers of the University. “ASUU considers this allegation of academic fraud as an illusion and demands publication of the names, courses, departments, years of graduation of the students in question as well as details of the lecturers involved in the alleged academic fraud. “Does graduation of students in a university start and end with “marking of scripts”? Among other requirements, for a student to graduate from the University, first, the student must be admitted, registered, take lectures, pass the examination of courses, and get the approval of results/recommendation for graduation from the Department Board of Studies, Faculty Board of Studies and the Senate of the University. “Why then is the graduation of the students in the alleged academic fraud restricted to “marking of scripts by lecturers”? Undoubtedly, it is a ploy to give the dog a bad name so as to hang it. For self-serving reasons, a particular member of the SIT who is the de facto chairman of the team is preoccupied with, and committed to blackmailing the academic staff of the University and demarketing the University in order to consign the image of the University to the hall of shame. “This has serious implications for the academic integrity and credibility of the University in local, national, and global competitiveness, and is unacceptable to ASUU and stakeholders of goodwill for the University. “Consequently, we insist on a thorough, transparent, and just investigation of the claim of academic fraud in the University widely believed to be in the realm of propaganda and blackmail. We urge the Visitor to the University/Governor of Edo State to direct full investigation into the allegation of academic fraud which is an ‘indictment’ of all relevant organs and authorities of the University and not just the lecturers,” he added. The ASUU chair said the interim and progress reports by SIT to the Visitor to AAU and the general public are full of misinformation and propaganda and should be investigated to determine the true state of the crisis in the University. He added, “Edo State Government as a matter of urgency should implement the decisions reached at the stakeholders’ meeting on the crisis in the University held on 16th March, 2023 in order to genuinely resolve the crisis rocking the University. “Without delay, the problem of selective payment of salaries of staff in the University should be resolved with payment of all outstanding salaries to staff of the University. “The Union believes that repositioning of a university does not translate to infringement of workers’ rights, denial of wages, and lack of improved welfare of workers. “The annual increments of staff salaries stopped by the University Administration should be restored. We implore the Visitor to the University, as a matter of urgency, to constitute a governing council for the University to enable the University to function properly,” he added. Read the full article

Peter Obi On Twitter:
My Obidients, a very happy Holy Month of Easter and Ramadan to you all. As we celebrate Easter and look forward to a joyous Eid El Fitr, we pray for God Almighty's guidance, protection, and blessings as we face and pass through a litany of challenges in our dear country,
Nigeria- flawed electoral processes, insecurity, weak institutions, multidimensional poverty, unemployment, inflation, lack of justice, fairness, equity, opportunities, and many more. As we reflect on these challenges and look forward to a New Nigeria that is POssible,
Datti and I are painfully mindful that for the mere reason of being OBIdient, most of you have suffered vituperations, physical attacks, loss of rights and privileges, hateful trolls, indignities, and vexatious fighting words,
even from some of those we long regarded as civic leaders and conscience of our nation. Please bear such attacks as the sacrifices that we are all required to make in order to create a New Nigeria, where justice, equity, fairness, love, and prosperity shall reign.
Be assured that Datti and I are with you and that the ongoing unfortunate orchestrated efforts to demarket and delegitimize the OBIdient Movement will fail. We are fully structured and have remained focused and steadfast in addressing the ills in our nation;
while underpinning the supremacy of our Constitution and imperatives of the rule of law. Do not relent, and do not be lured into unnecessary conflicts. Be assured that in the fullness of time, our mission to rescue Nigeria from those engaged in State Capture will come to fruition
We are also using all lawful and peaceful means allowed under our laws and constitution to reclaim our mandate to create a New Nigeria that is POssible. Therefore, in all your actions and inactions, I continue to implore you to be law-abiding, respectful, and peaceful. In all you do, always remember those immortal words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jnr, "The true measure of a man is not how he behaves in moments of comfort and convenience, but how he stands at times of controversy and challenges". A New Nigeria is Indeed POssible.
God bless you all, and bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
