ok well if i have to move out of my nice warm sunny office with my work best friend and into the weird cold dark upstairs office i am going to make it a PLEASANT SPACE, goddammit. i put in a work order to get the wonky ugly corner desk in there replaced with a nice big open one and i'm also going to ask them to haul out the storage cabinet that is just full of junk. then i'm going to move all the random broken monitors and computer junk into a closet somewhere to make it feel less claustrophobic + request a big standing lamp so it isn't so dark. possibly I will also buy myself a colorful rug for my corner of the office if i can find one for pretty cheap. i will bring photos of my baby and family for my desk and maybe also get a big fun colorful art print or two to hang up around the desk area. i think it is too dark in there for green stuff but maybe a snake plant or a rubber plant could hack it??
