I think Taylor will release debut as her last re-recorded album on October 24, 2026. This will mark exactly 20 years since debut was released, and given that Red was released a year and a half ago (November 2021), it's not inconceivable that it releases a little over 3 years after Speak Now. In fact, it would be a shorter gap per album (including 1989 and Reputation) than Red to Speak Now by a long shot. It would be a really great way to start a new chapter in her career where she owns all her music to own her first album exactly 20 years after it was released for the first time.

How many vault tracks do you think we can realistically expect from debut tv? And which ones you think are most likely?

God it's so sad that it's probably the last rerecording, I'm dying for that vault to open and the titles being revealed so we can finally know what she chose (also praying for you'll always find your way back home because the way it resonates so much with modern Taylor and the rerecording project is uncanny)

i'll share a partial list from the debut timeline: i think these are the songs that we know were considered at some point and are the likeliest to be released

then there are also other songs, like REVENGE, Permanent Marker and What Do You Say that we know were also considered but i think they're gonna be dropped.

i also think that beautiful eyes and i heart are gonna show up on debut.

there are songs that i'd want there, for example just south, this is really happening and need you now, and there are also songs that we know the title of that i'd like to hear (obviously nashville, just to spite steve, but also frontseat). i go back and forth between thinking that we're gonna know every single title and the knowledge that we're actually missing a lot of titles. taylor said that 40 songs were considered... everything is fair game really. we're missing around 15 songs, bc some of them, like we were happy and dont you were released on fearless tv. i guess that they cleared a lot of space from the debut vault

not sure how relatable of an experience this is, but one of the first things i did when i got my mini ipod shuffle was to rip my debut cd and load up all the songs so that i could listen to it while walking to school. except i was about 11 and didn't know what i was doing and some of the files got slightly corrupted. meaning that for a solid year or so before my brother figured out how to fix it, every time i listened to cold as you, it cut out just before the bridge and would jump right into the outside.

to this day i can't listen to cold as you without half expecting the opening drums of the outside to kick in halfway through
